  1. Mom of 6mo and 22mo on July 26th, 2008 at 12:00 am

i bought this product this afternoon and put it together in about 10 min with the help of my 22 mo old. i probably could have done it faster if not for him. i was very pleased by both the stroller and the store i went into to purchase it. I own a 4dr saturn sl, small compact blah, and it fit in my trunk with space to spare where as my mom’s single stroller just squeezes in. my son though possibly a bit young for the sit n stand loves it i couldnt get him out of it when we walked to the park today to go play, he kept telling me no. my daughter fit comfertably in the front seat and was squealing the whole time with joy. i have only one complaint about this stroller, and thats the cargo net is under the seats with very very very little access to it, i only wish the sit seat would slide or flip so i could get into and out of the cargo area easier but i do love this for all else. also i dont know what other double strollers weigh but i got a double jogger and that thing is heavy, this is about half that weight, i wanna say about 20 lbs.

  2. Mom of 3 boys on July 28th, 2008 at 12:00 am

My youngest boys are only 15 months apart and we bought this stroller to take on vacation so we wouldnt have to use the massive double graco that we had. The stroller is great for children who are atleast one year apart–since the older child sit facing you on a “platform” seat. It folds extremely easy and is not any bigger than a standard single stroller–handles like one as well!!

The few cons– the canopy does not cover both seats. But I found an aftermarket canopy that fixed that for around $20. The basket is about the same size as that of a single stroller so its alitlle small for 2 children but is workable. The seat covers are not removable. Thankfull I have a handy mother who made me a cover that I could remove and wash.

I still have my double graco and I use it for days when I know the boys will be in the stroller most of the day (ie. visiting theme parks) I also have a double umbrellla that stays in the back of my husbands Durango for those unexpected trips with Dad!!

But this is a great stroller for two of different ages! And the price makes it a good buy as well.

I LOVE this stroller. I bought a double stroller and my 19 month old absolutely hated it, he would cry when we put him in it. I thought he may be a little too young for the stand part, but he loves it. The only part that sucks which someone else mantioned, is its kind of hard to get to the basket. Other then that, LOVE IT!!!!!

  4. Soon to be mom of two on August 12th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I just bought this stroller yesterday and my husband and I puted toguether is less then 10 minutes, not only is very easy to put it toguether is very nice looking, my 27 month old love it in the point that she cried when we had to put it away. Its not too big that you feel too far apart from the baby in the front, I absolutly love it and I would recommend it to anyone who has a older kid and a newborn. Plus i bought a chicco car seat and it fits perfectly.

  5. On the go mom on August 16th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We purchased the stroller for our 24 hr trip from Guam to Colorado. Yes, it kept my 2 1/2 year old in the stroller, but not long. My 1 year old always had to to sit in the front. Steering is horrible and even worse with the bigger child in the front. You do not have access to cargo stored underneath since the straps for the back seat run over it. It’s pretty heavy and the seat covers are secured only with velcro straps. It’s easy to assemble and break down when it’s time to throw it in the washer. To stow into the car is a hassle. You must make sure aall the straps are unlocked and you must lock the front wheels. It served it’s purpose after our trip here and traded for two umbrella strollers upon arrival. It’s overated.

  6. tired by happy on August 27th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stoller has been a wonderful asset to our family! My 2 1/2 year old loves having the option of sitting or standing; our newborn daughter nestles comfortably in her infant carrier, which sits in front. It’s important to note that the basket is hard to reach, but that’s only if one doesn’t have the capacity to undo a snap, located on either sides: great access; and no child is jostled in the process. We love it.

  7. Mom of newborn & 21 month old on September 5th, 2008 at 12:00 am

My kids are 20 months apart. I have a newborn whose carseat (Peg Perego) easily fits into the front & a toddler who sits in the back. She seems to have enough room (for now) & sit comfortably. It is pretty easy to open & close and the double cup holder/organizer is convenient. I have, however, found several inconveniences. The canopy only covers the baby in front. The storage basket, while a decent size, is nearly impossible to access & the stroller itself is very heavy & slightly hard to maneuver. For the amount of time that I will probably use it, the price is right & I will deal with it- problems and all.

  8. mom of two on September 13th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I find it is very east to steer and it folds up only using one hand, and as compactly as our single baby trend stroller we just replaced this with. My 15 lb 8 months old sits in her car seat snapped into the front and our 40 lb 4 year old sits/stands on the back. we have had no problems at all and love it. Yes, it is a little harder to steer than a normal stroller, but that is only becasue it is slighter longer- it is just how long things steer (kind of like a boat or those car-shopping carts.) But seriously, it is not bad at all. like i said, we love it.

  9. mom of 2 on September 18th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a 22 month old and a newborn. This stroller was perfect and holds the Chicco keyfit carseat perfectly. Chicco was supposed to come out with a double stroller that holds a car seat but got tired of waiting. My 22 month old loves this stroller and has been great. I have also learned, I have been able to put the infant seat on the front or the back…(place on the sit and stand area, wedges into the handle and use the seatbelt in the seatbelt holder) which gives it great convience. Well worth the money and cheaper than most. It has been great and works perfect! Yes it is bulky but good luck finding a double stroller that isnt and this one actually is quite small folded up. The only part I dont like is to get it into my Mazda 3 (yes a small small car) is I have to take the umbrella off. It is easy to do but if you are in the rain it is no fun! Gotten over that one little thing and works great. Love it!

  10. mommy of 4 on September 19th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We searched high and low for a good durable stroller for both our young boys, 6 weeks and 25 months! It was between this one and the Joovy Caboose. We went with this one because of the storage space, parent tray, durability and my 25 month old does not have to hunch over when the infant car seat is in place. I love the color, the one hand fold and it is easy to maneuver. The basket is easy to access…all you have to do is unsnap 2 snaps on either side. The only con I have is the canopy does not cover the child in the backseat. Overall, it WORKS GREAT for us!

  11. mama mia on September 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I found this stroller at a great price, and thought it would be a great investment for my 4 year old and 22 month old. It is a nice stroller for shorter distances, such as shopping at the mall, however, I am reluctant to take it to Disneyworld when we go in January. It is heavy, difficult to steer, is quite large when folded up, and the storage basket is difficult to access. Also, my 22 month old is very large for his age (35 pounds, 35 inches), and he is almost too big for the front seat.

  12. heather mom of two on October 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a 1 mo old and a 4 yr old… I just had to have this stroller although my husband thought it was unnecessary! I wanted to have a place for my older daughter to ride whenever she wanted. I thought it would be very convenient and would be much smaller than a regular double stroller! Well I was wrong- it is just as long as a double and I feel like my infant is so far away from me! It is not very easy to maneuver in the small ailes of a store and the storage basket is almost impossible to get to! Although it sounds as if i hate this stroller, I do not! It is a great concept just not as small as I had anticipated (store didn’t have one on display)and my daughter doesn’t seem to want to ride as much as i thought she would… I guess I should have listened to my hubby on this one!

  13. Mom of 4 on October 25th, 2008 at 12:00 am

    Love it!

  14. Busy Mom on November 14th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller worked well until the seat broke sending my 32 lb daughter thru the seat. I called baby trend and they were glad to fix it with me paying the expense to and from CA as well as the fee for the service. I did not buy this from Babyrus but I feel that the Baby Trend company is not one to buy.

  15. Mom of 2 Boys on November 20th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. It is very easy to use. I have a one year old and a four year old who both love to ride. It is light and easy to fold. We use it a Disney!! A must have for theme parks.

  16. Alyssa and Aaron's mom on November 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a 3 year old and a 3 month old, and I love this stroller. My 3 year old does not want to always sit in the stroller, and with this, she can hop in and out whenever she would like to, and I don’t have to pull her in and out each time she wants to see something up close. Great for when we go to the zoo. It is easy to fold up and not to heavy to pick up and put in the car.

  17. Mom to two girls on November 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a newborn and a 2 year old. We bought a double stroller for them, but it was super heavy and difficult to steer. This stroller is so light in comparison. My 2 year old loves it. Its a very simple design, but ideal for shopping trips. Easily fits into the trunk of my small sedan, which my double stroller wouldnt.

  18. mom on the go on December 1st, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller has been perfect for my 2 year old and 1 year old. Light weight, easily pushed and steered with one hand, and easily stored into my trunk.

  19. liltinymommy on December 4th, 2008 at 12:00 am

i recommend this stroller to almost every mother i run into… i love that fact the front can fit car seats.. just a very handy, light weihgt, easy to push stroller.. made my life 50% easier

I just wish the back tires where the ones who turns.

  21. Mommy of 3... on December 7th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Okay, so I am having a baby in about 2 months. I already have an 8 1/2 year old, and a 4 1/2 year old who has autism. My son weighs almost 50 pounds and I needed to get something that will work for him and a baby. Although he’s almost 5 he isn’t allowed to walk on his own because he runs off. So on walks and trips he was using a single jogging stroller.

Anyhow, I had my almost 9 year year old sit on the jump seat in the back and she fit just fine so I decided to purchase this.

Setting it up was a snap, even with my son getting into stuff. He immediately climbed onto the jump seat and wanted to be buckled in, which is good since he was always trying to get out of our jogging stroller.

I probably won’t use this much until spring, at least, but so far I love it. I do wish there were more color options available, but oh well. I also wish there was a snack tray for the child in back.

  22. Paula on December 16th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a new born baby and 2 years old doughter and this stroller makes my life much easier. It’s practical, light, easy to use it around anywhere. It’s not so easy to get things in and out from the storage, but it’s not a big deal.

  23. mom of 2 on December 30th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This is a really nice stroller, moves very well. I really love how tall the handle is! I am 5″11 and it is very comfortable to push! My 2 1/2 year old loves this stroller as well, he feels like he is in control! being able to sit or stand. the only “issue” i have with this stroller is that it is VERY long! I feel like im in people way, but i knew this before i bought it, and i still love it!

  24. the Mom on January 5th, 2009 at 12:00 am

My daughter is 2 months old and my son is 2. I have the same brand of car seat,so my baby is just in her car seat in the frong. My son loves to sit back in the back and watch everything going on. I tied a rope from one handle to another and put toys on there. Now my son is enertained! It has a great color, and the shades go out far enough for them to shade the sun but for the kids to be able to see out.

  25. Mom of 2in Fla on January 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Excellent stroller…took like 2 minutes to put together, literally. My son, who is 9 months, loves the long walks we take (though he does slide down a bit- but I think time will fix that), as does my almost 4 year old daughter. I tried other reg. double strollers, but my daughter was just too tall and they were too restricting. She loves her options with this stroller and says its really comfy. We love it, as the shade is adjustable and the basket isnt too flimsy (holds groceries, etc.). Its all around the perfect stroller for an older toddler and a baby, for long and short distances!!

  26. Momma Jess on January 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is exactly what our family needed with an 18 month old and a newborn. It is perfect for errands and walks around town. I think it will work out very well when we go to Disneyland in December. It moves very easily and is very sturdy. There’s lots of storage space. It folds pretty compactly for being a “double” stroller.
The only thing I would change is that the infant carrier could sit in the back so the older child could sit up front in the more comfotable seat if they want.

  27. Foot Braker on January 19th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I purchased this stroller because I have a 4 & 8yr old who are, lets face it, lazy. Well once I added the baby seat one child one purse one diaper bag two drinks and a cell phone it got kinda hard to push. I guess I may have it overloaded but thats my life. I recommed a smaller stroller and less lazy children.

  28. Toddler & newborn mom on January 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

Very sturdy and attractive stroller. My toddler can sit in the back without hunching or stand up and watch as we navigate. Plenty of cargo space underneath. Cup holders are nice and deep. This stroller is wonderful. Only drawback is that it’s a little heavy, but that’s a fair tradeoff for being STURDY! Setup took less than five minutes.

  29. MerrickMom on January 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I use this stroller mostly for the mall or other stores that do not have shopping carts that can hold an infant car seat and my 2 1/2 year-old. It is pretty easy to manuver, very easy to fold up, attaching the infant car seat is just as quick and easy as the snap and go single stroller, the sit/stand bench is a great size (my 2 1/2 year-old and the neighbors 3 1/2 year-old often share the seat). The only negative comments I have is that the basket is pretty much useless once you have two kids in the stroller since you can not access it and it is a bit heavier than I am used to but I figure that is not something I could avoid with a double stroller.

  30. Jessica on February 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got this stroller because I’m expecting in June and my daughter will be 2 1/2 years when the baby was here, so this was pretty much perfect for us. The only negative is that the front seat doesn’t recline very far, but then, there’s no way it really could go back any further. Besides, with the carseat attachment option, by the time your infant is out of the infant carseat, they should be able to hold their head up enough to handle the most reclined position, even if they want to sleep (believe me, even though infants may not look comfortable to us the way they sleep, they’d let us know if they didn’t like it!) I also love that it folds up almost as small as my single stroller did, and that it can accept pretty much any carseat, so you’re not stuck getting one specifically made for that stroller. You can get a cheaper one if you want!

  31. Christie on February 6th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have an 8 month old and 2 1/2 year old. My daughter loves the bench seat and likes to choose what shes gonna do. My 8 month old loves being in the front. We had a duoglider before and he never got to see anything! The only downfall is that when my daughter starts to get sleepy, I have to keep her awake because she fell asleep once and I thought it would be okay because she was bucked in but we hit a bump and she fell forward and bashed her head into the tray. So when she starts getting sleepy, I just get her up to walk and hold on to the stroller! I also love how much lighter it is than the previous double!

  32. Leslie on February 17th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I am pregnant and my daughter will be 2 when the baby is born, so I went ahead and got this stroller. My daughter loved it, and I was super excited about it…until I tried to put it in my car. I drive a Honda Civic, and it does not fit! I’m going to have to take the stroller back because of this…So, if you have an SUV, van, or station wagon, I recommend this stroller. Otherwise, it might not work for you…

  33. Tiffany mom to 4 on February 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This product is really easy and convinent to use. I love it. I can get my 2 older kids to stand/sit on the back, along with my infant carrier on the y front and it’s still easy to push.

  34. busy mom of two on February 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have gone through many strollers and this one is GREAT! You can push with one hand. I have an infant and a 2 1/2 year old who is “over” being in a stroller, so this is a great compromise. It was a lifesaver at the airport recently!

It IS a bit bulky so you will have to have a large trunk or an SUV as it does not fold down very compact. But that is the ONLY down side. It folds and opens easily.

  35. Mom of A busy child on February 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is wonderful! We are expecting a baby in June and we have a busy busy 3 yr old. This stroller is perfect for our busy boy who will NOT sit in a regular stroller, he does not like the confinement. But this stroller gives him independence to sit, stand or walk on our outings. It was sooo easy to put together! It folds up much smaller than i thought it would and super easy to fold up with a push of a button- BIG plus! Its smooth and lightweight. My car seat fits perfect. Good size storage basket. I think this was the best investment i made! And was not too expensive- worth EVERY penny!

  36. Jo mom of 2 on February 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is great for an 11 month old and a 3 year old. I bought it recently for going on a trip in April. It has exceeded my expectations. It is a little heavy but that is to be expected. But my oldest loves sitting in the back and watching everything.

  37. mom of 2 on February 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I LOVE IT!!! ( the only bad thing: not comfortable if they happen to both fall asleep at the same time)

  38. sns on March 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 30 month old and a 7 week old, and I would not be able to go out without this stroller. As per a previous comment, I have a Kia Spectra and the stroller fits in the truck with lots of room to spare. After going on vacation, I have found out that the stroller also fits comfortably in the front passenger seat. My Graco Snugride infant car seat works perfectly with the car seat adaptor.

  39. iamdangergirl on March 7th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I just bought this stroller to use with my newborn and three year old. I knew it wouldn’t fit in my VW Beetle trunk but guess what? It fits in the front passenger seat of my VW New Beetle. And this is even with the seat forward some to accomadate a chicco key fit car seat right behind it. So all you Moms out their who love their VW’s and don’t want to buy a minivan just yet this is the sit and stand stroller for you. (I did have to take the canopy off though and put it in the trunk). Also it carries the chicco key fit car seat without a problem even though it doesn’t lock into place.

  40. Perfect design on March 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller was so simple to assemble and I am very impressed with how sturdy it is. The design to me is perfect, I love that it’s dark and the fabric seems to be very waterproof, which is a plus in the rainy state of WA. I love it and my kids enjoy it.

  41. Emily and Kaitlyn's Mommy on March 12th, 2009 at 12:00 am

It’s wonderful!! I have a newborn and 4 year old. And she just loves it. She loves how she can sit or stand. And she can still sit straight up while the carseat is in. That is a big plus!! The front seat reclines where the carseat fits in just perfect! It’s not that heavy, just a little. but you can lift it with ease. It opens and folds with ease. The perfect stroller for a newborn and older. It has cup holders for you. plus! The basket underneath is hard to get to though. Didn’t like that much. But that is the only thing.

  42. Anna on March 18th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I absolutely love this stroller. My 1 year old son sits up front while my 3 year old daughter rides in the back. My daughter can get off the stroller easily to walk if she wants to. It’s manouvers great and stowes nicely in my subaru legacy. I researched double strollers and found this to be the best one. the cargo space is limited and hard to reach but not a bother for me since I have a backpack diaper bag. I also like the fact if I have another child I can snap my car seat into the stroller. Defiantely worth the money,

  43. Vina on March 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

i have researched and settled with this item and will admit im real impressed. its not as bulky as a double stroller easy to assemble and better yet is compatible with my 8 month old daughters graco carseat. i just bought this recently and so far has been a life saver with my 3 yr old and baby. the only con to this is the access to the the under storage but other than that its a great deal!

  44. Chickie on March 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 2 yr old and an infant. I needed a tandem stroller than could make both of them happy.

    The pros:
    1) The colors are basic enough to match a number of infant seat patterns…i.e. I don’t cringe when I see my discontinued Graco Snugride pattern up against the neutral black and gray of this stroller.
    2) It doesn’t take up a ton of space when folded- I think it’s actually smaller folded than my single Graco Quattro Tour stroller.
    3) It’s pretty light so it won’t kill your back lifting it.
    4) The sit and stand option for the older child is nice – at least when she’s in a cooperative mood.
    5) It doesn’t require a conversion kit for my Graco Snugride infant seat.
    6) I initally wanted the Graco Quattro Tour double stroller, but I tested this one against that and several of the other popular models in the store- and the handling of those wasn’t so superior to this to sway me to buy the pricier ones.
    7) Price- most of the big strollers cost a lot and maybe if I used mine a ton I could justify the cost, but I don’t – so making the cheaper one work for me seemed like the best plan. So- this is a good double stroller for someone who needs one- just not all the time.

    Cons:
    1) I know it’s a double stroller and will never be as easy to use as a single- but it is much harder to collapse than my Graco Quattro tour single.
    2) The maneuverability is only so so- meaning my back is usually in some pain after pushing it around for a while. It definitely requires more effort to get it over bumps and other rough patches.
    3) The foot rest ALWAYS pops off when I collapse the stroller. I’ve given up on it.
    4) The seat cushion and straps for the sit and stand section NEVER stay in place. So I’m always having to adjust it when I try and get my 2 yr old in…and that alone can be a struggle- so messing with the seat just makes it even more of a pain.
    5) The cargo area could be larger and is not easy to access when you’ve got kids in the stroller- which makes it practically useless. Sure, you can undo the side snaps- but that means getting down on the ground + they are pretty tight snaps.
    6) The little storage compartment on the handle/bar is so small it’s pointless.

For the most part it does the job. It’s about to have it’s first real test…the airport/gate check baggage…so we’ll see how it holds up.

  45. busy mom of two on March 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Based on the reviews, I expected that I would like this item more than I do. But it’s definately worth the $$$ (I would never pay the Joovy price once I compared the two at the store). It’s a great stroller, my 2 year old daughter loves the fact that she’s not limited to a seat, but can ride standing up. It’s nice that the back bench has a 3 pt. harness strap when we need it though! One negative is that in order to get the 3 mo old’s car seat on the front, you have to lean the front stoller seat so far back that my 2 yr old can’t get comfortable on the bench seat. The front seat reclines into her back. For this reason I wish I had purchased the double sit and stand tandem stroller instead of this one (the single) I was also dissapointed that I have to remove the visor on the stroller in order to fold it, which means another item to store and remember where it is when you go out.

This stroller is much easier than most to maneuver through stores and down aisles. I have an eddie bauer single stroller and it is huge, comparatively this stroller is great for shopping and places we frequent, like Disney! It is also a Great stoller when you’re taking the kids to the park by yourself!!!

I would recommend this product to all my “first-time” mom’s. I wish I had bought this stroller the first time around. Instead we now own 3 strollers. Our huge eddie bauer (which is perfect for the newborn), an umbrella stroller and now this tandem stroller.

  46. flmommy on March 30th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I use it with my 33 month old and 4 month old and they have been very happy with it so far, the baby loves to watch his big sister and my daughter feels like a big girl in it… no complaints… it is very lightweight compared to other double strollers like Graco. Folds up just like my single Graco stroller.

I researched double strollers and other sit n stand strollers. I opted for this one and I do NOT regret it. It is worth every penny. My 3 year old toddler loves the independence of sitting or standing and he has plenty of room even with a large infant carrier seat in the front. It has strong durable wheels and is easy to push. The basket underneath is quite large and you can access it from the sides using the snaps. Great deal!

My mom gave me this stroller (and the matching car seat) at my shower and we both loved it!! My daughter was 5 at the time and she was so excited that she could ride along with her little brother. She is very tall and skinny so even at her age and weight she was still a good fit for it and it was very easy for her to use. It does fold easily and compactly for a double, but I prefer self standing when folded and that is not possible with this design. We tested this against the joovy and this won hands down- it is much sturdier. It works extremely well with the car seat. However, we did not anticipate that my son would grow so big so quickly- he is 16 mos now and weighs 31 lbs and is 33 in. (our future football player!) So now he is too tall for it (his head is higher than the seat) and she is going on 7 so she can’t use it anymore either. It has a very smooth ride, but it’s heavy and long and can be difficult to steer, especially with the car seat on it b/c that just makes it even longer. We actually nicknamed it The Limo. The seat recline doesn’t offer very much comfort either- he is either sitting straight up or slightly reclined- not very good for napping. The basket is large but not easily accessible. We recently sold it to a friend and got a Chicco Cortina (that thing is awesome- it rides like air and can’t even tell the difference from when it’s empty or he’s in it, and it reclines completely flat if you want and has an adjustable handle so sister and/or dad can push too! Great single) Still, even with all of its flaws we loved it while it lasted and probably would have kept it longer if we didn’t have a baby in 97 percentile! This gets 3 stars for ease of use and 5 stars for concept.

I have a 3 year old and a 5 month old and this stroller has been perfect for us. I bought it based on a friends recommendation. We take a lot of walks in our neighborhood and it has been very useful. I have a Graco carseat that snaps right in and when the baby can sit up I can just put her in the front seat without the car seat. My toddler loves it too. There are 2 drink holders and a compartment for keys or cell phone. The basket is not huge but I think it is useful for everything we need to take. I highly recommend this stroller and the price is good too.

This stroller is perfect for a new born and a toddler who likes to take off and run.

I have a 3 year old son and a newborn baby girl, and I just love this stroller, it’s so easy to fold and unfold and get the kids in and out! And my son just loves it too! He loves his “big brother” seat in the back!

  52. Mom of 2 Boys on April 29th, 2009 at 12:00 am

My family calls this stroller the “Baby Limo!” It is the MOST used baby item in our home. I’m a mother of a 4 year old and a 6 week old. This stroller goes EVERYWHERE with us and has been a dream come true! I would highly recomend this item for anyone with 2 children (especially an ACTIVE toddler and an infant!)

I have a newborn and a 2 year old and was very excited about this stroller, especially after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, I have been VERY disappointed.
    1) The basket underneath is large, but is almost impossible to access making it useless. You have to take the kids out of the stroller and even then I have to struggle to get the diaper bag in and out.
    2) The straps are very difficult to adjust to the appropriate fit for each child.
    3) It is very cumbersome and difficult to steer, mine pulls to the left and after 5 minutes of pushing my arms hurt from struggling to keep the stroller straight.

It is lighter and folders smaller than most other double strollers, and seems to be the “right” price, but I will be getting rid of mine and purchasing something else.

I love this stroller its not heavy at all I am able to close it and open it and lift it into my truck w. no problem. I have an active boy whos 23 months and this is so great b/c I have my baby girl so I can easily travel w. them without help especially since I am alone w. them during the day.

I have had this strolelr for less than six months and already there is a problem with the buckle where my one year old sits. He is also very uncomfortable in it because he is constantly sliding in it and cant sit straight in the seat. The whole seat safety idea is out. The straps are horrible as well.

I would prefer something definitely more sturdy for my kids.

  57. mom of two on May 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 3month old and a 2 year old and this is the perfect combo. My 2y/o doesn’t like to ride all the time she is getting to the point of being a big girl and likes to walk but when it comes time to ride she just hops in. My son just rides along not caring yet.
The basket is very very hard to get into with the carrier hooked on and the cup holders are very shallow if you hit a bump the drinks go flying.

This stroller would be perfect if you could choose where you wanted to put the carrier. I like the baby closer to me but this stroller he sits in the front and people tend to bump into him. Sometime it pulls to one side when going up a hill but I think that is only when just the baby is in and all the weight is in the front.

All in all this is a great stroller for the price and gets the job done. It packs up small enough top fit into my van or my husbands car.

  58. puttytat71 on June 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 3 yr old and a 4 month old. I thought this would be perfect, but it’s far from it. The seat doesn’t recline far at all making it impossible for my infant to get a nap and the seat is shorter than most strollers. Her head is almost to the top of the seat already. We’ve only used it a few times and I’m selling it. The basket is useless if you have two kids in it. It’s not heavy or hard to open and close.

  59. Momma To Many on June 8th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Bought this in the fall of 2008, used it only a handful of time and didn’t care for it. I tried using it with the infant seat, which took me forever to strap it in tight enough. (used with a Chicco KeyFit30) When my baby got big enough and sat up on her own it still didn’t work because the seat does not recline enough, so she always looked uncomfortable and cried within 5 minutes of being put in there. It’s too difficult to get things in and out of the basket. The stand part is nice but my toddler never wanted to be in there, not the stroller’s fault. The umbrella/visor part is just annoying and big. I ended up selling mine for $75 to get a better single stroller. I would not recommend this stroller to anyone.

  60. notcoolbuy on June 11th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The seat material ripped after light use. I called the company and they refused to give me a replacement part (I was willing to pay whatever I had to) unless I bought the stroller directly through them (I question whether or not they’d help even then!). I really wish they were like Graco who has happily replaced parts for me for free without question.
Also, they weren’t very knowledgeable-didn’t even know Babies R Us sold their stroller!
Not good customer service to say the least!

  61. Emily and Vanessa's Mom on June 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 4 yo and a 1 yo, and we walk everywhere in our small town, especially during the summer. This stroller has been a godsend for us. The baby is happy in the front seat, and the 4 yo likes the option of sitting, standing, or walking. We had a “traditional” double stroller when the baby was first born, and it was a nightmare! The baby had to go in the back, which put my 35-pound older girl in the front. That made it nearly impossible to steer, especially uphill to our house from the grocery store. Combine that with a stroller that weighed nearly 75 pounds empty and took up the entire trunk of my not-that-small car, and it was a mess. I got this when the baby was about 6 months old, and what a relief! It is comparitively light, folds neatly, and only takes up half the trunk! The only complaint I have is that the basket is rather difficult to access, but I’m not sure that’s a design flaw as much as the nature of the beast. I can see where you might not want a tiny baby in the front, but I would recommend this to anyone with an older baby and a preschooler.

  62. April on June 15th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. I have Graco double stroller that I just don’t like now that my kids are 1 and 4. It’s to bulky The Sit and Stand is awesome. It’s lightweight, easy to fold and store and it is easy to move around. Wish I had bought this stroller the first time around

  63. stephanie on June 17th, 2009 at 12:00 am

its a great stroller i would definately buy it again but it can be kinda difficult to push and turn if you have a heavier baby in the front and no toddler on the back. and the infant seat on the front i think should be able to adjust a little bit more but other than that its a very handy stroller.

  64. Danielle on June 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I haven’t been this excited about a baby product in a long time. I have a 2 year old and a 4 month old and love this stroller. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and have had no problems with it. I find everything about it easy…using the basket underneath, folding it up, all the accessories. My 2 year old loves being able to get in and out on his own and so do I, saves me time having to put him in and out myself. So glad that I bought this stroller.

  65. HotMomma on June 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I do not like this stroller. I bought it thinking it would be great, cause at the time I had a newborn and a 2 yr old. There isn’t enough storage. After having it for 3 mos. it completely fell apart. Neither the store or the manufacturer were willing to help.

  66. Mom of 2 on June 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 3-year-old and 3 month old and desperately needed something like this because my older one gets very ancy in a regular stroller. I researched both this and the Joovy and for the short time I’ve owned the Baby Trend, I think it suits us perfectly! This has much more head and leg room for the older one to sit or stand in the back than the Joovy. And, while I agree with some other reviews that access to the storage net is very difficult and small, it’s really not much worse than our single Graco travel system stroller as far as space. My older son loves it and no longer complains about being in a stroller. The assembly instructions were also very clear and took minutes to put together.

The things I don’t care for are:
    (1) Again, the lack of ease in loading things in the storage basket underneath. It seems I have to pull aside, stop the stroller, and bend down and unsnap the netting to put things inside it, so it’s not as easy as it is with my regular stroller.
    (2) The canopy seems a little odd because it is too low to shade the older child who sits in the back of the stroller, and is much higher for the infant/toddler who would sit in the front. I would think the older child needs more canopy height so they don’t keep hitting their head on it. At first, I thought I snapped it on incorrectly but I didn’t according to the instructions/photos.
    3) It’s hard to get up curbs but I think that’s the case with all tandems and double strollers.

Overall I’d highly recommend the stroller…especially for the price!

  67. Mom of two on June 29th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 4 year olod and a 2 month old. My husband and I bought this stroller while I was pregnant b/c it is a great idea. I love that my 4 year old can sit or stand while we push the baby, and he likes being included. However, this product could have been MUCH better. I have an average size diaper bag and CANNOT get it in the basket. I have to hang it over the handle bars which makes it a huge pain when getting my four year old in and out. Another thing I don’t like is that strapping on the infant seat takes way too long. I am also not happy with the pad on the sit or stand seat b/c it slides off everytime my 4 year old sits down. Like I said, good idea, but we find ourselves using our single stroller more often so we don’t have to deal with the huge hassle.

  68. Mom of 2 on July 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 2 yr. old and a 6 month old. I was excited when I first bought this stroller, but now very disappointed. The stroller is very difficult to steer with only a baby sitting in the front. I also have an averaged size diaper bag that will not fit underneath. It is definitely more of a hassle that just taking two strollers.

  69. Mom of 3 under 4 on July 5th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this product. I have three children under the age of 4 and for the past year have been reasearching which double stroller I wanted to buy. In that time we were using two strollers. This is awesome. I can now take a walk with all my children, who absolutely love standing or sitting and I can actually fit all three on and walk comfortably. Complaints of the basket being small, I have just as much trouble with my single strollers (Graco Quatro Tour and jeep running stroller)as this one. And the price – you just can’t beat it. It is also much lighter than Graco duo-glide – which I hated and got rid of.

  70. n/a on July 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

i reallly do not like this stroller. we chose it for our 1-yr and 5-yr olds. it’s hard to steer when the surface is not level (and we live in suburbia), my older son likes to face fw and places his feet in the already hard to use basket, so it’s been useless. i actually choose to use our older graco single stroller instead of this one. with no. 3 on the way, i’ll be looking to replace this another style…do yourself a favor.test drive it with the kids in it.

  71. Shopping with two on July 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Much easier to maneuver than the other sit and stand I had. It is also much lighter to stow.

  72. momof2 on July 16th, 2009 at 12:00 am

nice stroller. I have a 2 month old and a 2 1/2 year old. folds easily, not to heavy. the only I dislike so far is the basket is not easy to get to and is small.

  73. DS Mom on July 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

    It’s very hard to maneuver!!!

  74. Kira on July 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 3 1/2 yr old son and a 9 month son and this is perfect!!! Yes, the basket is hard to get to and is too small-just like all the other double strollers. My older child loves to sit for a while, then stand. I like the option of him being able to hop right out and walk around if he feels like it. It is not hard to maneuver considering I’m pushing around 55lbs of children + the stroller. If you’re looking for a stroller for a toddler and infant, this is the one for you.

  75. ThirdTimeMom on July 29th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is the best tandem stroller we have ever had! It is easy to maneuver, lightweight folds up to fit nicely in our trunk. The kids love it! We had already had purchased the Baby Trend car seat and it easily attached to the stroller. All we can say is that we are very happy and highly reccomend this product!

  76. Mom of 4 on July 31st, 2009 at 12:00 am

We recently had to replace our double stroller and since our children are now: 2yrs. 4yrs, 6 yrs and 10 we decided a sitnstand would be a wiser investment. This one is great – my kids are tall and the two year old loves the SEAT. -Which is my point- the stand part is not really ment for really young children who should still be in a stroller seat! It’s definitely more for my 4 year old to take a break on.
I see reviews for kids 2 and under using the bench and being an Early childhood educator I know that’s not the best idea to begin with! If your kids are young (and still occasionally fall asleep etc..)I would definitely go for a dual stroller with two seats.
That being said: It folds nicely but you do need to take the tray and hood off -like the doubles- to fit it in the back of a new minivan. It also does not "automatically" lock and unlock when it is collapsed like some models.

  77. Erin VC on August 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Maybe I got a defective product because all kinds of important parts (such as the wheels!) started falling off within the first couple of uses. Beyond the fact that there was obviously mechanical problems with the one I bought, it just didn’t turn easily or maneuver well. I really don’t have anything nice to say about this product but I’m glad that other people didn’t have such a terrible time with it.

enjoyed by older sibling and will be by new baby in sept

  79. AjBaker on August 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Perfect for baby and toddler sibling. My toddler sits forward and backward (although its a tight fit forward) and I’m still using the baby carrier for my infant. Storage is awful, but I bought an inexpensive pouch that attaches to the handles, it helps. I have gotten so many comments on how the sit-or-stand is a good feature.

I use this stroller for everything to go for short walks long walk even on the track to go jogging,I have a 3 month girl and a 3 year girl it works for us,The only thing I would say is that my husband try going really fast (without my girls) and the wheels were going crazy but stayed on so DON’T GO FAST WHILE children are in it or around it,Overall is a Great stroller I would love it if they had in many different.

  81. enedina on August 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is a great stroller. I have a baby and a 2 year old. It works out perfect. The only thing is that it is a little hard to maneuver especially when turning… but other than that it is great!!!

  82. Jenny on August 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this stroller for my 3 month old and my 4 year old but not too happy with it…my toddler is under the sun every time we use it as the stroller shade is not long enought to cover her in addition the basket is really hard to access not to mention that the front seat does not recline enough for the baby in the front to nap…so none of the two kids can sleep basically and the older one is burning under the sun not sure why they wouldn’t think about the older child while making this product.
