This stroller is awesome. I had been on a waiting list for another one when this came out. I immediately purchased it and am in love with it. It was overall pretty easy to assemble. The only thing I struggled with was putting on the front wheel, but eventually figured it out. I love the pedometer. It measures your distance and how fast you are going. The stroller also has a built in speaker for your mp3 player or ipod. The only drawback is that I can’t hear the music when I am jogging or on a loud street. My volume doesn’t go high enough. It is super easy to fold and fits in the back of my van easily. The other feature I like is the front swivel wheel. I can use this stroller for jogging, walks, mall trips, zoo trips and anything else. You can also purchase a matching infant carseat to go with it!! This would be all that you would need for a stroller, except for a umbrella stroller. You can lock and unlock the swivel wheel from standing behind the stroller. Most other models I looked at, you had to bend down in the front to switch it. The only other complaint I would have is that the basket is a little small but works fine for a couple items and then I just hang my diaper bag on the handle. This is a great product!

  2. Karen on June 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I am not much of a runner, but I walk fast and so I opted for a jogger so I wouldn’t kick the stroller when I stride. I am reviewing the older version (blue fabric, purchased 2007), so there may be improvements on the current model.

LOVE the swivel wheel, padded back for baby.

The child tray is easily removed and was handy for diaper change on the go (just release the back to recline for a changing station).

I see the parent cup holders are improved (taller now–my water bottle would fall out).

The shade canopy does not offer much–I always have it tilted forward and/or drape a blanket over the sides for more sun protection.

MP3 player is a fun accessory, but totally not needed–baby is so entranced by the outdoors, that no extra stimulation was needed.

My computer never worked and would get knocked off the handle when I folded it to put in the car, b/c the handle hit the ground and pushed it out. I could have taken it back, but I thought I could fix it and never did. Bummer, that seemed like a really cool feature!

It folds really easy, but not very compact.

I can slow jog with the wheel not locked, or lock it for faster. It handles well on rocky paths just as well as pavement.

Overall, I am happy with it b/c I couldn’t see paying 2-3x as much for one of those big brands. I’ve been using it since my now 9 month old was 1 month old.

  3. LJ's Mom on June 18th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Bought this so I could both walk the dog and take my son for a walk. Great because it allows the dog to walk with us without being caught up in the wheels. Love the cycleometer so I can track how far we go and how fast we go there. My son loves it too so far. He sits back and watches the trees go by.

I’m not a runner so I don’t know how well it would do with running but for our needs and with our bumpy trail, it works great. Love the fact it has shocks and has a pivot front wheel.

  4. L's Mama on June 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I spent the entire day obsessed w/ finding the perfect jogging stroller. I have the Peg Perego travel system and I like the good stuff. I was THIS close to buying the BOB (I think it was the pink/brown that really got me) but I couldn’t bring myself to spend 400 on the BOB after I saw this one. It took me about one hour to set up. So far it seems really easy to use and I love the lock/unlock option for the front wheel. I have a two year old and she is tall. I had her try it out in the store and was pleased to see that she has plenty of room to grow and still be super comfortable while we are out. I adjusted the straps and took the fleece cushion out and it is now ready for my toddler. The cup holders are good and I think the MP3 speeker is a cool option. Overall, I am really happy with my choice. Good luck!

We originally had gotten another brand name travel system and it just wasn’t well made and felt cheap. I did a lot of research to determine what kind/brand we wanted for our son. Baby Trend received great reviews. I saw this one on the Baby Trend website and loved the ability to plug in an mp3 player and on-board pedometer. When it became available we bought it and we were thrilled when we received it.This is a sturdy well-made stroller. Putting it together was terribly easy. It can turn on dime and is extremely easy to manuver. It feels like one of the[$] strollers that are out there. I wish we would have gotten the car seat as well. The only thing that could be a negative is its size and weight. I am small only 5’2 and it is heavy but it is worth to me for all the other features and quality.

  6. Karla on July 9th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I had a combi to start with but as my son got bigger and heavier the small stroller just didn’t do a good job. I started looking into jogging strollers. I looked and looked and finally found this one. I LOVE IT. I take it to go jogging and it works great. I am on the shorter side and the handles are right where they need to be, but my 6’5 husband uses it just fine. It’s not heavy at all. Folds up so easy. I take it shopping alot. It fits in all aisles and in all stores w/out a problem. It literally feels like the child isn’t even on there. The basket underneath holds so much. Everything is just so great. My son is 2 now and he loves going for rides in it. The only thing I wasn’t 110% satisfied with was the MP3 plater speaker. WHen I’m out and about on runs or walks, it’s just not the loudest. But I would honestly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a stoller. It def. should cost a ton more for the features and the reliabilty and the comfort. The swivel wheel makes using it a ton easier. Turning is a breeze. Happy searching and good luck.

  7. Pirate Mommy on July 13th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We bought this stroller because I wanted it for rollerskating. The wheels are great for jogging/skating and also for just walking around. I also love the built in mp3 speakers for when I want to listen to music. The straps don’t really seem to go tight enough for my son though, they’re pulled all the way and it still seems a little loose. The stroller is a little bulky but it fits in my trunk (honda accord) and isn’t extremely heavy. Its great for different types of terrain. I would recommend this stroller to anyone…

  8. First time Mom on July 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller is excellent! It rides so smoothly, my son loves it. I walk and jog with it. The swival wheel is an excellent feature and you can lock it in place if needed. However, even when jogging I haven’t had to lock the wheel. The speaker is not very loud but really not a necessary feature. The plastic on the harness is cheap and I am worried it will break in the future, but overall this stroller was defiantly worth buying.

  9. Soccer Mom on July 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This has been the best stroller I have ever used. I used to always use my graco quattro but since I’ve purchased this I will never go back.
This stroller turns on a dime and can easily be pushed with one hand, which lets face it. Most of the time you are either holding one child or the hand of another.
The mp3 feature is awesome. I can’t hear it most of the time but thats ok. My rider enjoys listening to his type of music and is a nice treat for him.
I haven’t gotten the pedometer to work yet for me. There seems to be something wrong with the connection but I honestly wouldn’t use it much.
The swivel wheel is great. I use it for jogging (in the locked position) and it works better than a graco or umbrella stroller for shopping or the zoo or soccer games.
The basket underneath is a little small and when the seat is laid back it is impossible to get into but I have gotten the stroller hooks for long journeys.
The seat lays back easily, sometimes too easily. If an older child (3 or 4) sits in it the seat falls back constantly but I have fixed this by tying a knot behind the seat adjustor.
It folds up to about the same size as a graco or evenflo full sized stroller and firs in the back on my van easily.
I have used it with the baby trend infant car seat and it works like a dream. I haven’t tried it with any other brand but I believe there is an adaptor you can get because my cousin uses hers with a graco.
Overall, I am very happy with this product and love the price. Its very affordable for a jogging stroller and this has become our everyday stroller.

  10. Arons Mom on July 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This is a great jogging/walking stroller! At first we had trouble getting the tires to stay inflated but a call to the company helped that. They sent us out 3 replacement inner tubes quickly. Love the smooth ride and it doesn’t take as much effort to walk my heavy little 1.5 year old son. Its got some weight to it but isn’t too bulky. Fits in my Hyundai with no problems. Folds/unfolds very easily. Love the mp3 speakers!! My son loves to listen to the music while we stroll. Great feature! Lots of storage too. I do like that you’re able to lock or unlock the swivel wheel. Makes it more versatile. Overall this stroller is great. I can’t imagine spending the $400+ price for a different name. This one does it all 🙂

  11. chris on July 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I’ve been searching a while for an inexpensive but good jogging stroller. I was gonna buy one of the $99 ones off of the […] website. I decided to finally drive down to Babies r Us and I am very satisfied with the decision I made. This stroller is worth its price. I love the swivel wheel in the front that you can lock and unlock. The mp3 player is dope! The stroller itself was easy to essemble. I’m just very satisfied with my pick for now, and I’m sure my daughter and I are gonna have many wonderful memories with this badboy.

  12. Everyday Mom on July 28th, 2008 at 12:00 am

The front wheel sticks often which causes the whole stroller to shake. It is also extremely big and often difficult to fit into a normal sized vehicle.

  13. jogmom on July 30th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I agree with the previous review that this stroller isn’t great for a serious jogger, it has a very loose frame which seems to cause a lot of vibration. (I was having even worse troubles with it until DH reminded me to lock the front wheel!) It is also extremely top heavy and prone to tip on uneven surfaces. But I could forgive it if it was more convienient to fold up/take with you/store. But it is still huge when you fold it up and it doesn’t fold up flat or upright. In my opinion it is downright dangerous when folded, since my son has very nearly toppled it onto himself. I have never used the mp3 speakers or pedometer. It does have a smooth ride when used on walks; the best customer for this will mainly use it for walks on flat ground and keep it (unfolded) in a garage or something when not in use.

  14. Hannah on August 1st, 2008 at 12:00 am

The speaker on this stroller is an absolute joke! Even when there is no outside noise, the volume is no louder than a cricket chirp. The baby can’t even hear it…let alone the jogger. In addition, the stroller has a very cheap, loose frame and shakes alot. Going back to the store for the Jeep.

  15. Jimmys Mom 2006 on August 2nd, 2008 at 12:00 am

I am a runner and a fast paced walker. For the money this does an excellent job. When I lock the front wheel in place it does not vibrate back and forth like some of the other models. Also, my son is 20 months old and has more than enough room to nap and stretch out his legs. I would buy this again…especially for the price and the fact that it has rear suspension!!

  16. Active Mommy on August 5th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This is a great stroller for the money. I couldn’t bring myself to spend $400+ on a jogging stroller. My guy loves this one and it is very sturdy. It is definitely more cumbersome than other non jogging strollers but since I’m not dragging it around town, I’m fine with it. It fits in both the trunk of my car and my husbands.

  17. Mommy 1 on August 7th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller is so bad! It is so bulky and heavy. The music is so low you can’t even hear it and as for the cheap pedometer that sucks too. It doesn’t even work. I would reccommend buying a stroller that doesn’t have one and then just purchasing your own. I thought cause the price was right and the features were cool I’d try it. I’m taking it back to day! It’s like lugging a round a wheelchair. So heavy and not practical.

  18. New Mommy on August 12th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love using this stroller for long walks and casual jogs. It’s definitely a bit bigger than our regular stroller however I don’t take it shopping or anything like that…we use ouir lightweight umbrella stroller for those trips. I found this sturdier than the Jeep joggers and since I am more of a walker, I love the swivel wheel.

  19. mom of two on August 14th, 2008 at 12:00 am

The pedometer is difficult to figure out the speaker is very quiet and I have used the stroller a total of 5 times and the front wheel bearing is broken and I was not hard on it at all.

  20. Walking Mamma on August 26th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We just got this stroller and I love it. I read some of the reviews and people have complained about the music feature and the pedometer. I can hear the music feature very clearly. If a loud truck drives by, yes, it is difficult to hear but I am not walking with my baby on any major roadways. I don’t want the music to be blaring because my baby’s hearing is much more sensitive than mine so I’m sure he can hear it just fine plus I don’t want to offend the people around us by blaring my music. The pedometer did take some time to figure out however I just read the instruction manual that came with it and it works just fine. This is a great stroller for the money.

  21. Amanda the New Young Mom on August 27th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I received this Jogger as a gift for my 11 month old daughter since I didn’t want to pay more for the [$} brands. At first it was great and everything was perfect, it pushes so easy and folds with the pull of the levers, but after a few long walks with it revealed the front wheel wasn’t tightened enough which led to the most uncomfortable experience for my baby in this stroller since it wobbled and shook all the way. The front wheel had to be in the locked position which is a pain to push and defeats the purpose of wanting a Jogger with a swivel wheel. Once tightened the front wheel and the stroller worked like a charm but then on another walk the wheel kept steering to one side and getting stuck sideways which made the stroller not even pushable. The pedometer worked once and after that it never registered. The stroller rolls backwards if the back wheels aren’t locked. If I would have known this I would have spent the money for the better Jogger and refused this as a gift. Buyer Beware!

  22. Luke's mom on August 30th, 2008 at 12:00 am

OK, I did a lot of research on jogging strollers (and by the way, I’m not a jogger, I use it more for walking on our hilly streets or dirt roads/paths). This is an excellent buy. I was sooo close to buying the BOB because I like good quality items, but couldn’t bring myself to spending $400. Yes, it is big, but it is a jogging stroller with real tires. We have a Maclaren that we LOVE that stays in the car that we use for mall trips, traveling, visiting family, etc. We use the Babytrend Expedition mostly for walking the hills around our neighborhood. My husband is 6’1″ and LOVES it. It is a very smooth ride and he also loves the IPOD hookup. Yes, the speaker is quiet, but that’s ok in our quiet neighborhood. I am actually proud of BabyTrend for taking the baby’s hearing into consideration. If it was any louder, it would be too loud for the baby. Also, TIP, if you take the speaker out of the little zipper pouch it is a bit louder. I can’t believe what an excellent product we got for the price. It was a steal–I had a coupon for Babies R us and got it for [$]!! Also, MOST IMPORTANTLY my 8 month old son loves it (we got it when he was 6 months). It is super comfortable, has a back that reclines, and is a very smooth ride. Also, it maneuvers well and is lightweight considering it is a bigger stroller. Take my advice, buy a MacLaren Quest for the car/shopping trips/traveling and the Babytrend Expedition Deluxe for home (neigborhood walks) and beach/hiking trips and you’ll be set. These are the only 2 strollers we own. Trust me, I did a lot of research. One more thing, since I’m being honest, the pedometer did fall off and seemed to stop working but we don’t really care as that’s a minor problem. Also, as I mentioned I am not a jogger so have no comment on using it for jogging, but I know the front wheel locks for this purpose and I would assume it would be great for jogging too! Overall, excellent value for the price!

  23. Fit Mom on August 30th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I purchased this stroller specifically for jogging. I thought it looked really nice and was really excited to use it. I was very disappointed when I used it and found that the front wheel when unlocked in the swivel position vibrates the whole stroller when I jog. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement tire but I still have the same problem.

  24. Kissta on September 5th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Yes, it’s a bit bulky, but that’s what you get with a jogger. My baby is so relaxed in this stroller. I love the cup holders for both me and my child. It manuvers and rolls really well in the mall or on the sidewalk. I haven’t used the speakers or pedometer, but I didn’t buy for those features. There is extra suspension on the back wheels, the swivel lock release is on the handle, there is an extra storage pocket on the back of the seat, and a storage box at the handles. I only wish the basket below was bigger. Great product for the price.

  25. Out a lot on September 7th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. I use it almost daily on our brick roads and take it out on dirt roads when I can. It works great. The frame is very sturdy and I like the shocks. The speaker is very quiet, but I didn’t buy the stroller for the speaker anyway. I also like the pedometer. Once I figured out how to use it I haven’t had a problem with it. I would definitely recomend this to anyone.

  26. kirsten on September 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I’ve had this for one afternoon so far. Why I hate it: the canopy does NOT fold down to block the blinding sun from your baby’s face. Why on earth did they make it that way? I’m hoping I can return it tomorrow!

  27. Nicole the new Mommy on September 12th, 2008 at 12:00 am

WE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS FROM DAY 1. ANY TIME U WALK EVEN A LITTLE FASTER THAN A REGULAR WALK THE ENTIRE STROLLER SHAKES! SO FORGET JOGGING – WHAT A JOKE – ITS A JOGGING STROLLER. WE CALLED THE COMPANY WHO ACCUSED US OF PUTTING IT TOGETHER WRONG. […]THE COMPANY ALSO TOLD US TO LOCK THE FRONT WHEEL & IT WOULD NO LONGER SHAKE – WELL IT STILL DID -MAYBE EVEN WORSE. THE STROLLER ALSO PULLS TO ONE SIDE READY TO TIP OVER (ALMOST DID) THEN THE WHEEL BENT INTO THE FRAME AFTER 2 MONTHS OF USE […] PLEASE SAVE THE YOURSELF TROUBLE DONT BUY IT AND PUT YOUR LITTLE ONE AT RISK! OH AND ON A SIDE NOT IPOD PLAYER STINKS TOO!

  28. Kelly on September 17th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I was a little skeptical about this stroller due to some of the negative comments. However, we love it! It went together really easy and I love using it for walks or jogs. It is really durable and I feel it folds up very nice considering its a jogger. Our son looks really comfy in the seat and I love that the shade moves. There is great storage and cups holders. The MP3 hook up is nice too! Its a great buy.

  29. Adventure Mom on September 20th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We bought this stroller about 15 months ago, within the first 8 months, one of the main support bars broke in half!!!! We were putting the stroller in the car and we heard a pop sound, and to our surprise, the strollers aluminum bar was perfectly snapped in half around one of the screws. I was sadly disappointed. The construction is flimsy and if your walking on grass or sand, your child is going to get the “shake, rattle and roll” treatment. Not cool. Keep looking, pass up this product. Two mommy thumbs down!!!!!

  30. CO Mom on September 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

Love this stroller!!!! We bought this because we live on a dirt road, but use it everywhere. Very easy to push and steer, even with one hand. Our 6-year-old likes to sit on the front step and ride with the baby. Not very bulky, which surprised me. Easy to access the basket below, except when the seat is fully reclined.

  31. ethen's mom on September 25th, 2008 at 12:00 am

easy and smooth ride. my son loves it

  32. Nicole, trying to get into shape on September 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I’m a walker not a runner. So this is perfect for me. The swivel wheel in the front is great and easy to turn corners. I didn’t want to spend a fortune for a jogging stroller and then give up on exercise. I figured I could try this workout and not feel guilty about spending a lot of money.

  33. Allison on October 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Ok- I read the negative comments. One lady couldn’t pull the canolpy down and insists it is stationary. Not true…pull harder. It is meant to b tough because it is a jogger and would face rougher wind conditions. So, pull harder-it comes down almost completely. Also- another stated the stroller was too wobbly, mine is perfect- screw the bolt in tighter under the footrest. It explains in the directions. 🙂 It’s a good stroller.

  34. Active Mom of Three on October 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I use this stroller for jogging in my neighborhood and LOVE it for this purpose.
I like that the front wheel can lock for jogging but that I can also unlock it to allow it to turn for those tight little spots like coming in and out of the gate, etc.
I don’t like the speaker because you really cannot hear it.
I am also disappointed because the odometer is not user friendly. The instructions are not very helpful and I cannot get mine to work.
I haven’t tried to get it into the trunk of my car yet and I honestly don’t know that it will fit.
I also was not able to use it until my daughter grew a little bit. The shoulder harnesses only adjust to two sizes.

  35. ISAIAH'S MOM on October 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

I absolutely love this stroller. I bought this stoller in babies r’ us. It was easy to assemble. I’ve read some comments about the canopy and how it shakes. I’ve had problems with neither. The canopy does come all the way down to block the sun and when I run (on a bumby gravel road no less), the stroller doesn’t shake, and I run on a regular basis. My son is comfortable and enjoys being in it. I really like that the front wheel can either swivel or lock…perfect for every day use. It does have an MP3 attachment and while its not super loud, it is loud enough that I can hear the music, hear my son, and listen to traffic and everything going on around me. I couldn’t have asked for a better stroller!!

  36. Shopping mom on October 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

The stroller is very light, which is good, but the rest of the features are cheap. The pedometer falls off and is just all around junk. The speaker is worthless. You cannot hear a thing. And the front tire wiggles just like everyone else has said. Of course you can fix it but when I buy something, I don’t want to have to already fix it. Overall, the stroller is good without the accessories and once you fix the front tire.

  37. Katie on November 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I enjoy walking & running with my 2-month-old in this jogger. It’s ride is smooth and she seems to enjoy riding in it. We use it almost daily since she was a week old, and there have been no problems with the main components.

However, the accessories that come with it suck. The pedometer has never worked: either the magnet on the wheel doesn’t work, the information isn’t sent via the wires, or the computer doesn’t work. I think it may be the computer; I can’t figure out how to change the settings, and the instructions were obviously translated from Chinese into English by someone who doesn’t speak English (or Chinese, apparently). My husband couldn’t even figure it out, and he is an Electronics Tech.

I’m also disappointed with the “lock” that is supposed to keep the stroller closed when folded up. It’s too flimsy and broke after trying to pick up the stroller to put it into my trunk.

It would be nice if it had hand-brakes, but that’s why you get a more expensive brand. For the money, it’s a good-enough stroller for me. I honestly didn’t get it for the “extras” it comes with.

  38. Brie on November 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I really like this stroller it works great pushes easily i love the seat cushon for infants my son is now 15 months and still uses it but he is very small for his age his feet already tough the base above the szivel wheel semms like its made for smaller babies. I REALLY WISH they made it so if you take the tray off theres no bulky pieces sticking out, not sure i like the switch near the handle to lock and unlock the swivel wheel kinda hard to use and the cord that runs from it to the wheel gets in the way and my baby grabs it. ALSO I have a nussan maxima it had a huge trunk and my stroller does fit but its a pain to take it in and out all day

  39. Unhappy consumer on November 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I only use my stroller to walk but I’ve had it for about a month or so and the wheel wobbles. It’s really unfortanute because it does have a few good features. The fold up feature is great. The cup holders are cool. It’s compact. The umbrella that covers the stroller is not enclosed in the back and the sun and wind come right through.
The point is.. if you are looking for a jogging stroller this is not the one to buy.I will be returning it today.

  40. Baby James 08 on December 5th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I received this as a gift at my babyshower & put it together immediately! I was so excited b/c having a May baby I thought it would be great for exercising, not to mention how easy it was to put together & move around! HOWEVER… after my baby came I realized how much of a pain it was to pack around b/c the storage compartment underneath is so small I can’t get a diaper bag in it! Besides that headache (& backache), the tires kept going flat. I only went for walks with it 2 or 3 times/week, so i shouldn’t have been having any problems! I pulled it out last week to go to the mall and my back right tire was so wobbly that i put it back in the truck & had to carry my 17 lb 6.5 month old (which by the way… he’s uncomfortable in the sitting position)! I got online & read the reviews & there were several others having same issue, so I called warranty on it, BUT I’m responsible for paying all shipping expenses, and if they think it’s dammaged by my fault, i have to pay for the repairs!!! I should’ve listened to the reviews in the first place, but I thought everybody was over-reacting!! BUT IT’S SO TRUE!!!!

  41. Curtis on December 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Good product to use on the trail or in the mall

  42. love to run! on December 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This has been amazing to run with. It is very smooth and easy to steer with one hand. The shocks work well, the front swivel wheel is great, and there is plenty of room for your legs to run (you won’t kick the back of the stroller with long strides). It’s easy to collapse and unfold. Appreciate the padding for the smaller baby.
Not real impressed with the seat buckle, especially for a tiny baby, but it works just fine. The pedometer is a little difficult to use, but it works.
This is a JOGGING stroller- not a mall stroller, don’t complain about it’s bulkiness- you’re not using it for it’s intended purpose.

    Excellent for everyday runners!

  44. Lori on December 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I got this stroller due to the high weight limit, as my 4 yo son is 42 lbs, but we needed something for him. Due to the tray that covers the wheel, he has no where to put his legs except for straight out, which means that he is always sliding down in the seat. He winds up practically lying down with his feet hanging off the front.

  45. rebecca rhys' mommy on December 31st, 2008 at 12:00 am

this is not the stroller i set out to buy at first. but once in the store and played with display model it was the one that came home with us. its purpose is to exercise but we use it for everything. this is the second stroller we bought for our son and it is far better product. we don’t use the pedometer or the speaker so i can’t speak about those, but we have had no problems with the front wheel or the secure latch or anything else. he loves to sit in it because its high and he can see everything. we have used this product since early fall and its on the road everyday.

This worked for us for about 4 months, it ran well, my daughter could sleep while i ran on a dirt path. Then while at the mall with it (it maneuvers pretty well)the front wheel started wobbling, its the actual place where the axle connects to the frame that came loose- so that broke, glad we got the protection plan, otherwise a great stroller, but go for bob if you can afford it, otherwise just get the protection plan. It also doesn’t fit well into our smaller car’s trunk, we had to take off the front wheel to fit it in there. I liked it, if the wheel worked… also with any jogger I recommend taking extra measures with the tires, go to a bike store and get the green goo to keep from getting flats.

  47. Mom on the go on January 16th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We were drawn to this jogger in a store as a few dads gathered ’round to test them all out. Everyone agreed that this was the best choice for the money, and even has a swiveling front wheel. The ride is nice, and the carseat snaps right on for small infants, but it’s difficult to maneuver through doors, stores or anywhere indoors. For walking/jogging, it is ok, except that we’ve never been able to get the distance/speed computer to work. It’s a standard bike computer, and I’ve used them before, but this one just doesn’t work! Am waiting for a replacement and hoping for the best. This also takes up the ENTIRE back of our Rav-4, not allowing space for groceries or much of anything else, which necessitates taking it in and out of the car with every use. Finally, the storage basket is TINY. The design doesn’t allow for a diaper bag, so plan to just toss a few items in and leave the bag at home.
Overall…it’s decent for the price, but don’t expect the same that you would for a higher priced BOB.

  48. The Great Red One's Mommy on January 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

    I want to start this review with a disclaimer… I am not a jogger… I am a walker… 2 or so miles a day, 5 days a week…
That being said, this stroller is great! I have had no problems with it whatsoever! It ‘rides’ like a dream. My 15 month old loves it! He sits back and relaxes for the whole trip!
The cup holder trays for both me and my child are very useful. He can reach them easily because he is not laying all the way back in the stroller (something I did not like about the higher priced joggers). My cup holders and small compartment are great. The compartment will hold my cellphone, mp3 player, and keys without any trouble.
I will say that I was not very impressed with the mp3 player speaker. It is apparently not meant for the adult, but for the child. I can’t hear it, and it plays softly towards the inside of the stroller.
Other than that, it is a great stroller…
Again, I say, I am not a jogger, and never will be. I walk at a brisk pace every weekday. I have not had any problems with the front swivel wheel at all. It serves my purposes perfectly!
    I recommend it highly!!!!!!!

  49. Gina the new mom on January 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I picked this stroller because few jogging strollers offered a way to use it when my son was under 6months. I have the car seat that snaps in and have been walking with it since my son was born 2 months ago. It is not the easy to move in tight spots bc the back wheels are stationary. When folded up it takes up the whole trunk space of my Santa Fe. And it isn’t the easiest to pick up once folded. The stroller offers lots of features, such as an MP3 speaker, pedometer, and under carriage storage. I would recommend this stroller to anyone.

  50. JC on February 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We only used for 3 months and the front wheel started to wobble and the whole stroller shakes like crazy. We have follow the instruction to tighten the front wheel and still doesn’t work. Calling the customer service department is a pain too. Long wait time and they were not helpful at all. We spend over [$] for it and we can not even use it! Total waste of money!

  51. Grandma on February 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I TOOK THE JOGGER OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME I PUT MY GRANDSON IN THE JOGGER AND STARTED WALKING AND FELT IT SHAKING, I LOOK AT THE FRONT WHEEL IT WAS WOBBLING LIKE GRAZY I WAS AFRAID IT WAS GOING TO FALL OFF!!! I TOOK IT BACK AND BOUGHT THE BOB.

  52. Ashley on February 5th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We had this stroller for almost a year and the tires were always going flat, then the front tire began to wobble. We figured out it was because the berings underneath the front wheel were broken. My daughter is only 36lbs so I find it hard to belive that she could have been the cause, and we only used the stroller for walking never jogged with it or anything that would have been able to cause this to happen!!

  53. Daddy the stroller picker outer on February 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

[…] The price is great and its a decent brand. However, after just 7 short uses the front wheel assembly came apart. […] So we contacted Baby Trend which told us that there was nothing they could do…but send us a new part. Well that would have been good except that we would have needed to get it welded on ourselves from a machinist. So since it was 90 days since purchase, there was really nothing anyone could do. Remdinder that it was only uses on a sidewalk 7 times with a baby that weighs in the 15 percentile in weight for her age.Poor servicePoor quality

  54. Thorough Researched Mommy on February 15th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Although this stroller is intended as a “jogger” stroller, one would assume outdoors, the stroller is NOT ideal for out door usage due to the swivel wheel. IF you actually read the directions of usage BEFORE purchasing, one will find that the company stipulates to put the front swivel wheel in the “lock” mode to avoid any unwanted “shaking” of the front wheel which is common complaint of this stroller. The parts are very cheap to replace, however, shows how easily it can break. If you buy this w/ the idea of being able to use the “swivel” motion at all times, you’re WRONG. This “jogger” stroller can not be used well on “uneven” ground as the manual states. I wish I had known this before registering for this particular product

  55. First time Mama on February 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I registered for this item knowing I would not be using it for jogging necessarily, but we knew we would need something that did not have plastic tires. We use it for going on walks and to the park.
It is a good quality stoller. I would recommend this stroller to somone who did not plan on using it for shopping. It does not turn on a dime and is certainly not dainty!
The MP3 player speaker is not very loud and I still have not figured out how the odometer works!
THe stroller is also not meant for a newborn if you want him/her strapped in safely. It is probably meant for a 5 month old.
Overall it is a good stroller for someone who is not looking for a “real” jogging stroller and just needs it to go on terrain, grass and so on.

  56. M's Mum on February 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The stroller looks great but looks can be decieving. I have only had the stroller for 7 months and the handle will no longer work. I have been stranded places and not able to open or shut my stroller which is not only an inconvenience but it isn’t safe. I called Baby Trend and they would not do anything to help me (besides send me a troubleshooting email) because it was a gift and I do not have a reciept. But like I said a 7 month old stroller should be in great working condition especially because I do not use it but a couple times a week. It looks great, we love the car seat, and it is easy to maneuver but none of that means much if you can’t open or shut it without muscle man strength.

  57. Adrians Mama on February 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have only had this stroller a couple weeks but I love it. It just “glides” when I am jogging. And my son seems comfotable in it and he’s a big boy. (18 months). It doesn’t fold up as small as I would like but I still like it alot.

  58. Renee, or Mommy on March 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The front wheel has been nothing but a problem from day one. Always comes loose, fell off several times, and the worst was when it came off at DISNEY WORLD!!!!! Very upset!

  59. Melinda on March 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We bought this stroller for our youngest girl because we loved their double jogger so much. The thing had issues right away, tires went flat. It was extremely tippy, the front wheel wobbled, and the worst part was that the swivel wheel just kept locking into place. Plus it was very hard to fold and put in our van. The company wanted me to send it back but after a month and a half babiesrus was kind enough to take it back. We went with the babyjogger citymini, a little more money, but much better product.

  60. Kelly on March 12th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got this stroller last summer and love it. I have had no problems out of it. The front wheel easily locks into place and then swivels when I need it to. The stroller folds down and fits into the trunk of my car very easily. I can easily open it with one hand and is not heavy at all. The stroller has ample storage space underneath plus lots of little compartments on the top including cup holders and a place with a snap close lid. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the odometer never worked, however, that wasn’t important to me anyways. I highly recommend this stroller.

  61. Jedi's Mom on March 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller looks good and came highly recommended by the sales people at the store. Um, not so great once you got it home… The seat adjuster was jammed and even with the replacement part, is sloppy. The front wheel came loose while walking across a busy intersection and the pedometer doesn’t work. Oh, and the speaker for the MP3 player is a joke. Rides nice and the customer service people are outstanding at Baby Trend.

  62. Amanda on March 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We needed a stroller that could withstand our long gravel driveway, so we wanted inflatable rubber tires. This stroller had all the features we wanted for a great price.

We love the two cupholders so my husband and I can both have a drink. It is not that heavy and opens/folds easily. The swivel wheel lock can be done with a button near the handlebar, which is great. The Ipod speaker works great and our son loves listening to tunes while he rides.

We haven’t had any of the problems that other reviewers have had!

  63. Maddy's Mommy on March 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is the best stroller that I have ever gotten. Well worth the money, would purchase again without a doubt. I love the swivel wheel, I don’t have any problems with it and it works great!

  64. Nora on April 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

The first one I bought from BabiesRus I had to return as it had been purchased before and returned – and placed on the shelf. Both rear tires were defective. Additioanlly, when opening up the package and taking it apart, the first purchaser cut the pedometer strapping so that was never going to work. As a note, with the new stroller, I’ve failed to get the pedometer to work despite it being set up properly…mainly due to the very poor instructions. But that is minor.
Set up is super easy. Took the stroller for a nice long walk the other day and it was perfect. The iPod speaker is lousy though…you can barely hear the music, even if you have set your iPod to the max.

  65. Miss Tina on April 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

LIKES: I like how easy it is to open and close and that the front wheel locks at the touch of a button and releases just as easy to swivel. Maneuvers beautifully and smoothly, the large wheels make rough terrain easily managed. The stroller comes with it’s own pump for the tires and has roomy storage underneath.

HOWEVER….It is heavy and I can only fit it in the back of my mini-van with the tray removed. The pedometer is difficult to program (instructions are VERY confusing). The seat has to be reclined to fold and the strap to raise and lower it isn’t easy to use.

I have had to exchange it once because of the front wheel bearings and now on this stroller the front wheel shimmies when I hit any minor bump so I will have to exchange it again.

  66. My Baby Rocks!! on April 7th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I purchased this stroller at Babies R Us thinking it would be a good quality stroller, however, I was wrong. My right back tire has gone flat several times, the front wheel wobbles so bad once I get gone that the whole stroller is wobbling. I’m very affraid it’s going to fall off so I’m definately taking it back. Also, the speakers are lousy! Although, I do like how its light weight and fits right into my trunk.

  67. -Sandy on April 7th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is such a nice stroller!!

  68. RunningMom on April 11th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is absolutely worthless as a running stroller. As other reviewers have commented, the front wheel wobbles like crazy, so you can’t run with it at all. Since I didn’t save the original packaging (the enormous box it came in), I’m stuck with an absolutely useless stroller. Save your money and buy a different model, this one stinks.

  69. can't sit still momma on April 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Although I’m not a jogger, I’m a big walker, and I like to be able to get out in all weather. I also live in the country, so a jogging stroller seemed like the best bet to tackle gravel roads and icy sidewalks. After using this stroller for only two months, I had the frustrating – and embarrassing! – experience of having the wheel fall off while a co-worker was taking my son for walk! I had walked to work with my son in the stroller, so it was a complicated affair getting my son and the broken stroller back home… While my husband and I figured out how to reattach the wheel (this entails flipping the whole thing back and taking off the foot rest) it is not something I’m eager to keep doing every time I want to take a walk, which seems to be the only way to keep using the thing, as the bolt that holds the wheel on appears to be stripped (something I’m sure that happened because of the wobbling action of the front wheel). In short, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS STROLLER. I thought I could get away with paying a little less for a decent stroller. It turns out you get what you pay for.

  70. Crazejenjen on April 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller! It glides so easily and seems to ride smoothly. We love to take it to the cabin with us. It works great “off roading” and goes places a regular stroller would never survive!

  71. Meredyth on April 18th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I just purchased and assembled this stroller. This replaces a 2004 Baby Trend Jogger that I had for my first 2 kids. I have to say that Baby Trend has drastically improved the look and operation of this jogger. I do not use this stroller for jogging, but mainly for walking and moving my daughter around the yard while I do yardwork. She is 3 months old, and it is much more comfy than my old model. They improved the shade canopy to move further forward and actually block the sun! If you don’t want to spend $300+ for a stroller and you aren’t an avid jogger, I think this is sufficient. The swivel front wheel is a DRASTIC improvement over the old model.

  72. MommaM on April 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. I am not a jogger, but do go on frequent walks. This stroller pushes so nice and is very smooth! It was very easy to put together. Out of all my strollers, I love this one!

  73. Mom on the GO on April 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This jogger does everything that I want. We have taken it from the fall streets of town to the winter slopes of the mountains to watch our other children ski race. With the seat liner and the canopy he was toasty warm. We have been to the spring trails and it just as easily pushes through the mud . The next stop is the ocean beaches and I am sure it will do fine there too. It is very easy to steer and make your way through a crowd. Our car seat (a Britax ) snapped right in and was sturdy also.
The baby always is happy in this stroller and a happy baby makes a happy mom.

  74. RunnerD on May 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is easy to maneuver, reclines nicely, has a decent stoarage tray and child tray and storage basket. The bad news is the darned front wheel. After owning this stroller for 6 months (and thus outside the 90 day warranty) the front wheel started to shimmy. I tightened the bolt that holds it on which was no small feat. Less than a week later the bearings went out too. I called Baby Trend and they send out replacements free of charge but I had to wait a month to get them and when they came, they didn’t fix the problem. So less than one year after purchasing this stroller, it’s worthless. I won’t but anything else from Babies R Us or Baby Trend.

  75. eleasajane711 on May 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this for a 2nd stroller, something that would be smaller in the trunk than my graco travel system. I love that the wheels come off and make it small and easily fits in my car trunk. Its so easy to push you can push it and steer it with 1 finger! W/ my graco you had to put your body into it! I love the swivel wheel as well. However the cycloputer is in the worst position ever! if you forget to take it off when you collapse it, it scrapes the ground and falls off. It is now lost somewhere in Zion’s park after owning it for a month. And the wires are about to break. I called baby trend for a replacement and they are out of stock and dont know when they will get more, if ever. NICE. Also the recline on the seat is a pain in the behind. its a drawstring and when your kid is in there its next to impossible to sit them up. i definitely dont like those two designs. other than that i love it though, very smooth ride and we live in an area with really bad roads and my LO loves it! Also I read that the Graco snugride would work for it, and we tried it in the store and it worked in their model but not in the one we bought, still trying to figure that one out.

  76. The outdoor mom on May 15th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I started out REALLY wanting a jogging stroller because I have 2 dogs to walk. It made no sense to me to have four wheels on the ground; that just made for an extra wheel to catch on uneven pavement. As I started reading more, I realized that I didn’t necessarily need a jogging stroller, just one with 3 wheels. I found the perfect stroller on the internet but it didn’t retail anywhere near me and I have an issue with needing to handle things before I buy them.

That being said, I didn’t handle this one enough. It is very heavy to lift with the wheels on. The back doesn’t recline past 45 degrees (the floor model went much farther). It’s awkward to carry. The canopy doesn’t extend far enough to shade my son. I actually bought a Kiddopotamus RayShade to make canopy large enough to work.

It does have a smooth ride. I left the front wheel fixed because that’s what the instructions recommend. It isn’t particularly hard to turn that way (even with the dogs). It has a nice size tray for baby and parent.

I guess I recommend waiting until your baby is born and then taking them with you to test drive a stroller. You’ll have a much better idea of what you’re getting and whether it suits your needs.

  77. HD on May 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I purchased the jogger 4 months before my daughter was born. Being born at the end of December, I had little use for the jogger the first few months. However, since March I have ran with the jogger approximately 3 times and used it for shopping/walking approximately five times. The front wheel started shaking uncontrollably yesterday while we were shopping at a large mall. Thankfully my father was with me to push the stroller while I carried my daughter. We purchased a tool kit & took it apart to find that the front wheel bearing was bad. This is something that is installed by the manufacturer & should not need replaced so suddenly. I contacted Baby Trend to have them tell me that I was past the 6 month warranty period & that I could pay $9.95 to have a bearing shipped to me and then have it installed myself. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service and lack of concern that their product had (in my opinion) a possible defect. I am not happy with the product and very worried that I may have the same problem while out jogging one day. I do not feel safe putting my daughter in the stroller.

  78. Jaime on May 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought a jogger of another brand at first, and returned it to BRUs after using it just twice-very poorly constructed and didn’t feel it was safe to put my 5 month old son in. Then I bought this BabyTrend jogger and it’s been one of the best purchases yet. It’s durable and hugs the road, yet lighweight for me to lift in and out of my SUV. My husband enjoys pushing it as well. It’s great for our neighborhood where there aren’t many sidewalks and those we do have are cracked and bumpy. Plus, with a 95lb golden retriever to walk, I can take the two of them through the trails near us. I would suggest this stroller to any mom looking for the most bang for their buck, without spending a fortune!

When I first got this stroller I tried to run a couple times and the front wheel would wobble and I would have to stop. For all the people that complained about this, all you have to do is lock the front wheel in place if you plan on running. It worked great. It’s so easy to manuver I can run, with the wheel locked, with one hand guiding it. I would recommend this stroller. The only thing is I wish that the speaker was a bit louder.

  81. mommy to 3 boys on June 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I spent many, many hours searching for the perfect stroller online, as well as about every baby store out there, and finally decided on this one.
[I had originally purchased the combo of a smiliar stroller/carseat (it was the grey/green design), but the stroller’s closing mechanism was faulty, along with the display models at both Babies R Us stores I went to, so I opted to purchase this stroller with the black Baby Trend car seat seperately]
    The pros:
-Rides fantasticly smooth and turns on a dime on practically any surface.
-Fit my son from about 4 months on up. He is about a year now, but still has plenty of room to grow.
-Looks great (Both my husband and I like the look…and though this isn’t functionally important, it’s still something I shopped for)
-Has held up better than expected. I have two older boys as well, 8 and 9, who have thrown about everything in the basket under the stroller, from their backpacks, sports equipment, water bottles and snacks…We have fit the baby’s full size diaper bag, my purse (mind you I’m a mom of 3), water for everyone, and still had room for the older boy’s toys that were “just too heavy to carry…” I actually have been quite impressed.
-We haven’t encountered any problems with the straps, material, opening/closing, really anything other than the tires (see cons).
-The front tray folds to the side, which is great for “on the go” diaper changes.
-Lots of compartments for all my “goodies”.
    -Wipes down easily

    Cons:
-The tires constantly need new tubes – we live in the desert, so even the “grass” here can pop the tires. We have changed the front one, probably, at least once a month. The back ones are bigger, so we purchased the upgraded bike tubes that were guarenteed “to last”. They last about 3 to 4 months each. This really isn’t a problem for us though as we are constatly buying new tires for the older boy’s bikes and my husband is quite used to the process. I wouldn’t recommend this stroller for people who don’t want to constantly mess with this issue though.
-The front tire shakes occassionally. We are not exactly sure what is causing this problem, but from what I have read on other reviews, this seems to be a common problem. It doesn’t appear to be unsafe (but I don’t use this stroller to jog with), but it does get rather annoying. We have taken off the front tire, re-adjusted it, kicked it (haha), but nothing seems to solve the problem. It just, sort-of, comes and goes every now and again. The baby seems to like the vibration though, and since it doesn’t happen all the time, we haven’t looked into purchasing another yet.
-The stroller does not collapse all that well. The seat needs adjusted to the “lying down” position in order to fully collapse.
-The clock/pedometer was nice, but removable – and surprise – within a few weeks had mysteriously disappeared. (I don’t think this would be a problem for people without older children, as I’m sure one of my other kids probably “misplaced” it.) The wires seem to attract their little fingers when they are pushing the stroller as well, and both have come disconnected, which hasn’t been a problem since we haven’t seen the clock in months.

Hope this helps in your search!

I received this jogger as a shower gift in November and was extremely excited to shed some baby weight when spring rolled around. I began jogging with it when my son was 4mo old. About two months into use, the front wheel started to shake uncontrollably, forcing me to walk vs. jog. Approximately one week later, the front wheel persistently turned to it’s side, making it impossible to push. My husband came to the conclusion that the front wheel bearings, responsible for the swivel action, were completely shot and needed to be replaced. I have phoned Baby Trend customer service numerous times only to receive voice mail… still waiting for a return call. I would not recommend this product to anyone considering the short amount of time in which the product became defective, safety concerns and most of all the poor customer service (since, I have noticed many reports of this same problem).

  83. NICCI on June 18th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is ok for just walking around… but once you speed up at all the stroller shakes all over the place… due to the front wheel. I would not recommend this stroller to anyone but maybe someone who wants to go walking with it. I got this stroller for my baby shower in November, and just started using it since my daughter is now 6 months old.. and the manufacturer recommends you don’t put your child in there until they are 6 months. I have recently purchased another stroller….

  84. erin on June 21st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I purchased this stroller in the beginning of Aug. Only to have it replaced two days later because the stitching in the fabric came out. The new one worked good for about a month before the plactic in the sun visor was so brittle that it started to crumble. The strap used to adjust the seat started to fray. I tried to take it back to babies r us to exchange it for a different one, at which time I was told that that could not be done. You would think that the customer service people would be understanding because im sure they get a ton of call about how bad this stroller is, but they were nothing but rude. This stroller is absolute garbage. DO NOT BUY IT.

  85. Alison on June 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I use this stroller every morning to take my baby for at least a 3 mile walk/run. It is great for that purpose! It turns on a dime and she seems to enjoy sitting in it. Plenty of space to take snacks along etc. I like that it comes with an MP3 player adapter, but will say that it isn’t very loud…you can’t hear it if you are jogging. The pedometer comes with it which is great to track distance.

If you are looking for a stroller for everyday use that has to be put away in a small space, this isn’t the one for you as it is quite bulky when folded down. However if you are looking for a stroller for an active lifestyle, you have found it!

I purchased this stroller to use to jog with…after using this stroller, I found out the swivel option of the front tire only works when walking??? Why is it called a jogging stroller? I tried running with the swivel option on and nearly fell over the stroller. I found the odometer to be incorrect, compared to the odometer in my car! I would not suggest this stroller unless you are a casual walker!

This stroller is definitely worth it for the price. It isn’t as high quality as a Phil & Teds, but you get what you pay for. Love the speaker, the “shocks”, rides smooth even on a rough surface, entertaining and enjoyable for my child, love the cup/tray holder, easy grip for mom when pushing the stroller, I HATE the basket. Sometimes when I’m on my evening run I’d like to pick a few things up on the way back, but it’s not an option since the basket absolutely sucks and doesn’t hold anything. But, it’s a jogger not a shopping cart. Over all I’d recommend it to a friend who WAS NOT a stroller snob. You want Phil & Teds quality, shell out the money for it…this is Baby Trend, it gets the job done.

after using this jogger less than a dozen times, the front wheel assembly broke. not allowing the jogger to even push, a huge safety issue. after contacting the company, they expected us to pay to replace the parts. what kind our company will not even back their product? they did not even act suprised that it had broke. in my opinion,it is complete junk. i wish i could say ours was just a fluke but according to the company, it does sound like it.

This jogging stroller is a nightmare. How convenient is it that most customers have problems with it just after the warranty expires? I, too, have had the front tire fall off completely as I was walking with my 6 month old daughter in it. This was only after the fourth use of the stroller, and it had never been pushed faster than walking speed. Baby Trend needs to issue a safety recall for this jogging stroller and fix/adjust them free of charge. I pray to God that no one gets hurt before Baby Trend decides to act responsible and stand by their product! I have owned this product since November, and it has been sitting unused in the garage for months. DO NOT BUY IT!

I think I used the jogger for 1-2 months maybe 2 times a week and it broke. The front wheel nuts and bolts just came out. I tried to call customer service and they NEVER answered the phone. So frustrating. It took me at least a month to get an answer from them.

Liked this stroller until the front wheel started to shake like crazy. My husband tried fixing it by making the bolt under the footrest tighter. Now the front wheel turns to the right and locks up. HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!! I have only used this stroller a few months a couple a of times a week and it is completely useless now!! Waste of money!! Tried to contact baby trend and they keep hanging up on me. Still have yet to talk to a person from baby trend. Will not buy baby trend products again!!!

My husband bought this jogger for my 12month old when he was 5 months. It was great, I loved the colors and the features. Although it is a little bulky but easy to unfold. It was a smooth ride, I would use it all the time for jogging or when my husband and the kids would go to the park. Now I’m so dissapointed because the front tire wobbles and it’s very unsafe, my huband tried to fix it but there’s a broken piece that connects the tire to the stroller. I don’t understand why they would sale a product that can be harmful to our children. I don’t recommend this stroller, it’s very unsafe I wish I would have read these reviews before my husband bought it.

I have had 10 strollers in the past 6 years ranging from what’s best for the mall, jogging, trail walks, sidewalks, etc. This model is just, “OK”.

    Pro’s
    – handles to carry when it’s folded
    – carseat compatibility
    – comfy seat/shoulder straps
    – handle bar accommodates taller people
    – juice/snack tray
    – parent console
    – extra zip storage in back
    – Wheels snap off for smaller storage
    – easy to maneuver
    – decent ride on sidewalks and pavement
    – large basket but…. see cons

    CONS:
-Not as smooth of a ride as it could be off road
-You can’t get to the basket very easily, the bar underneath is in the way. I have to take the carseat off in order to get to my diaper bag. Not good
    — the back of the stroller has no material to cover it in colder weather unless you use your rain cover.
–Bulky- but let’s be honest, most all-terrain strollers are.

All in all for the relatively low price, I would recommend this stroller if you are on a budget and don’t mind some of the inconveniences. If price isn’t an issue for you I would go for the bob revolution or city series.

The other reviews made me very skeptical of buying this product, but we got a good price. My Dad fixed the front wheel and stopped it from wobbling and my husband loves the MP3 speaker. We took this stroller camping in the mountains. It was great. Very smooth ride. My daughter was able to sleep in it comfortably while we were hiking. It is a little bulky when folded up, but you just have to realize it’s a jogger not a regular stroller.

Both the infant seat and also the stroller are VERY hard to close.

My husband and I started jogging with our son in the stroller a few months ago and now the front wheel wobbles badly. My husband tried tightening the bolt under the footrest but that did not help too much. The wheel turns to the side with no warning and I have almost dumped my son out of the stroller (luckily we always hook him in using the harness). DO NOT RISK your child in this awful product!!!

    Stroller functions as expected
Do not expect much from built-in speaker, very tough to hear anything while moving.

I bought this stroller to walk my 1 year old on a local bike bath while my 4 year old rode his own bike. I loved the stroller right out of the box. Unfortunately after walking with it only 2 times, the front wheel started to wobble. Then it actually fell off while I was walking my son to the library. I had only bought the stoller 5 days prior and returned it to the store where the Manager gave me my money back. I wish this company would fix the faulty front wheel problem because other than that, the stoller is perfect. I bought this stroller even though a few reviews had warned me against this purchase…now I know they were right!

I really, really like this stroller EXCEPT that the wheels have rusted after only 3 months of use. I’m not sure what is going on with them – I don’t leave the stroller outside or anything… I bought the warranty plan and tried to utilize it to make a claim and just got an email saying that my claim was rejected – with no explanation….

I was unsure of this stroller because of the VERY mixed reviews I read online, but decided to try it anyway, and am SO happy with it. I used it for the first time this morning. I walked to a Mom/Baby workout class (about a mile each way), and did walking and jogging on concrete, grass, and dirt trails during the class. I didn’t have a single problem with it, and my daughter seemed to love it!

I do want to comment on the instructions of how to attach the front wheel to the body of the stroller. They were not the easiest to understand (the instruction manual seemed to say different things than a separate instruction sheet that was in the bag with the wheel itself), so I did what I thought they were saying, but made sure to REALLY tighten the wheel to the stroller frame. I had to use both hands to close the lever, that’s how tight I had it. However, I had NO wobbling problems like so many people have complained about.

The stroller is easy to fold and unfold, fits in my car trunk (4-door, mid-size sedan), has deep cup holders for the adult (perfect for 2 water bottles during the workout class!), and is very easy to push and guide. I love that the front wheel can either be fixed or swivel – mine works great either way, depending on what I need it to do.

The basket is a little hard to get to because of how it’s located directly underneath the child seat, but other than that, this is a GREAT stroller for the price!
