This product has everything that I want in one, accommodates a car seat and has room to grow with a two year old (sit-stand when older). The only thing that I don’t like is that it is very, very, very heavy!! It also can be hard to close.

The stroller i have is red and gray… but, i love this stroller. It has everything and more, you cant beat the price. I am 5’2 and 105 lbs, i was afraid by looking at it that it would be too big for me to push around… to my surprise its soo easy to push and very easy to fold down (even easier than those little tiny strollers). I have a daughter that is 3 and a son that is 2 months old… my son’s car seat fits perfectly in the front seat of the stroller and it is very secure. I have nothing bad to say about it… it is wonderful!!!

I bought the double sit and stand at Right Start. I’ve had it for a bout a month. After pushing 2 toddlers aroundin it Id have to say that it’s fairly good. My son loves the option of being able to sit backwards or stand. When the infant seat is in hes not really affected. I think its great that you can have a full seat for long days of walking. The sunshades works great. The break is kind of hard to get off wearing flip flops- but not to bad. It folds up/down soooo easily. It is a bit heavy lifting (but its a double- so very understandable!). My husband hasnt complained- so thats always a big plus for me. I think if I hadnt bought it and was just borrowing it Id still go out and buy it for us.

This is the best of all worlds when it comes to a double stroller. I researched and looked at probably 100 double strollers and had a list of “must haves” that none of them met. This one met them all. The color is something we actually like, the construction is strong and we love the ability to convert once our 2 1/2 year old wants to. I would definately recommend!

  5. Momto2boys on July 28th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a 3 year old and a 2 month old and have shopped around for a few weeks looking for the perfect double stroller and this is it! It has absolutely EVERYTHING that I wanted and it’s SO user friendly! My 3 year old still feels like a “big boy”, and I can still keep him locked down for a little while longer when out and about. I will be telling all of my friends about it[…]

I read all of the reviews before buying this item. I did not find it as easy to set up as others had. The pictures were confusing to me. I’m not pleased with the back seat at all. In order for the seat to come to the upright position (which is still a semi- reclining position), you have to really pull on the straps. I find it very hard to turn as well. You have to practically skid the rear wheels to make a turn. Since I forked out the money, I’ll keep it for now. I’m not sure if any other brand is better or not.

I love this stroller! It has made life so much easier! It folds down flatter than my single graco stroller, and fits in the back of my Nissan Armada without folding the third row down. I have a two year old and a five month old, and the back seat is in a reclined position, so I put our little one in the back and our older son in the front so he can see everything. This stroller has made it so much easier for us to get out and about on our own. I use it everywhere we go and could not be happier! We have not used it as a tandem yet, but it is so nice to know that we have that option when our son gets older. Thanks for making this great stroller for parents with two young kids! I have recommended this stroller to everyone I know, and don’t know!

  8. Tx mom to many! on August 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We purchased this stroller for our 20 month old daughter and baby boy that is due anyday. We also have a 5 year old son that has gotten some use out of it. My daughter is absolutely content while in it and so is my older son and he’s a big 5 year old! We’ve only used the stroller in the double seat mode so I don’t have any experience with just the bench seat yet, but it handles very well and isn’t a pain to fold up or unfold. The only downfall to it is storage. The basket underneath isn’t very accessible when both seats are being used, but if you have a stroller bag and stroller clips to use for shopping bags etc. it’s not bad, and really there’s not gonna be a great storage system with any double stroller….at least not that I’ve seen. I did ALOT of research before deciding on a double stroller and we are very pleased with our purchase!

  9. MommyofTwo on August 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

We use this product for our two daughters (2 years and 2 months) and it is great. Size when folded was a major issue for us, since we have small cars, and this stroller, when folded is really very compact. Assembly when we got it was simple – just snap on a couple of wheels.

The color is beautiful, and could be used for boys or girls, which is always a bonus. The front/back design allows for maneuvering in tight areas, and I found it wasn’t too difficult to steer. We just did a daytrip to the zoo, and were able to carry toddler and baby supplies galore, as well as a picnic lunch for the family with no trouble. An AWESOME amount of under-stroller storage space.
Both children are comfortable, parents are happy, what more can you ask for?

  10. Mom of two. (2yrs & 3mo old) on August 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I did a lot of research before buying this stroller, & people’s comments played a big part in my decision. However, I am very disappointed in this stroller. The basket is completely inaccessible when both kids are in the stroller. My son who is on the taller side can’t sit in back because his legs don’t fit. Especially if the front seat is in the recline position. (This is necessary to use the car seat attachment) Also, like other parents have mentioned… this stroller is heavy & does not turn well. I also find it annoying that you have to remove the front canopy & bar/tray every time you close this stroller if you want it to fit into your trunk.

I bought this stroller with the future in mind. That when my son got old enough he could use the bench seating & standing platform. However, for me to use it right now as a double seat stroller it is extremely uncomfortable for him to ride in. So I will be selling this stroller, because the future possibility of using the bench is not worth my son being uncomfortable now.

  11. klesyd on August 27th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. My two year hopped right in as soon as I got it put together. Its easy to manuever around corners and tight spaces considering it is larger than a regular stroller. My Evenflo baby seat even fits on the front using the universal piece. I was leary about it. Its the one item I couldnt wait to get and Im loving it everyday.

  12. Aunt to many, Mommy to one on September 2nd, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller is perfect for my four month old son and my 3 year old niece! I think it is pretty light for all that it offers and it folds easily with one hand. I thought at first it was hard to steer, then realized it was because I had not unlocked the front wheels to allow them to swivel. Since then, it steers great-I can even take it in a circle around my living room. The 3 year old loves that she can stand up and see everything when we’re at the zoo or the park. I love that she is contained and can’t run ahead!

  13. SuperDad on September 8th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller did not meet our family needs, It is a bit over-rated IMO, too bulky, takes up most of our trunk space, poor quality.I bought this stroller because Babies R Us was out of stock of the other sit n stand model by Joovy. Gave this stroller away and bought a Caboose Ultralite at a local speciality store. No regrets, would not recommend this stroller.

  14. too tired to fight on September 9th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I am so happy that I chose to buy this stroller. I have a two year old and am expecting in a few weeks. […] the stroller was easy to put together. It is easy to manuever as long as the front wheels aren’t locked. My son loves to sit in both the front and the back seat. We tried all the variety of different ways he can ride in the stroller and he loved it! So relieved.

  15. mom of 3 on September 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This is a good double stroller for those with a baby and toddler. It was easy to put together and my son loves to sit and stand in the back like a big boy. It is smooth and looks nice. I have used Graco for years and I am a bit partial, it is not as nice as a Graco but it is still good. Only bad thing is it folds up very odd and it makes it big and bulky in my van. It does not fold up compact at all. Overall a good stroller.

  16. Mother of 2 on September 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

[…] This is the best double stoller I have seen out there especially for the price. It is so lite and folds with real ease. The only complaint I had is that in the pic it looked grey and green to me but it is really brown and green but still a nice color just doesn’t match our car seat.

  17. Mom to 3 on September 12th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a newborn and a 2 year old. This stroller is great for them. My 2 year old can ride in the front or back and my infant car seat works well in this stroller. It was really easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to read. I plan to remove the back seat when the baby is older and can sit in front and let the older one stand in back. We have a SUV and I have no trouble getting into the back but would be too bulky to fit into a tight trunkspace.

  18. Mommy of 2 beautiful angels on September 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This is the best stroller ever. It was super easy to set up. It has plenty of storage space, and feet room. It is eaiser then my single stroller to open and close. My evenflo carseat dont fit on the carseat connection but i didnt plan on using it anyway. It is really easy to change from the double stroller to the sit n stand. Which is great with my 22 month old daughter. She can choose and it is not such a pain on me to change. The ride is also very smooth, for my one month old daughter!!! Also the color is great for either boys or girls. We have a very small two door car and it fits in the trunk, but with very little room left. That would be the only down side to this stroller!

  19. Melissa - mom of 5 on September 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

Use for my 1 and 2 year olds. Plenty of space in the back seat for my 2 yr old. Limited space for carrying things. Overall, the best stroller out of about 10 I looked at.

  20. full, time mom on September 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love the options that you get with this stroller. My son was so excited to see the new stroller and we tried out every option. Is easy to move compared to other double strollers we have tried and is more compact.

  21. Sandy on September 25th, 2008 at 12:00 am

    Love this stroller!
Very easy to construct, infant carrier easily clips to the front, very easy to maneuver, and best of all I can collapse it with one hand!

Also- I’m only 5’2 and found this very easy to handle getting in and out of the car, not too heavy at all.

  22. tutu on September 26th, 2008 at 12:00 am

    very easy to handle

  23. Kim.. Mother of 2! on September 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This Stroller is really great! I have a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. this is my 4th double stroller (I have had a double jogger, a per pergo side by side, and a Graco duo Glide). I Also LOVE the Graco Duo Glide.. and this stroller is VERY similar … but has the added feature to grow with the kids by converting into the sit and stand. The assebly took like 5 mins! And then it only took 5 mins to figure out how to remove the back seat to make it a sit and stand (but it is NOT something that is simple enough to be done while out shopping). My Kids also love the stroller. It moves and turns very well (like the duo glide). I have not used the basket at all.. b/c I cant get to it easily, and the foot rest for the front seat keeps popping off, and I dont really like the way the seats recline.. but that is just something to get use to. Also it is a little heavier then the duo glide.. but not much and it doesnt automatically Latch when you fold it .. which makes folding a tiny bit harded.. but it still is quick and easy. Over All the stroller is Great! The seat for the ‘sit n stand’ is also great b/c both my kids fit on it together easily… so in a year if i decide to have another baby this stroller will still work for us, the infant carrier in the front and the 2 big kids on the back (I’m sure it isnt reccomend by the manufactor tho). I definitly recommend this stroller!

  24. Mother of 3 boys on October 12th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I use this product for shopping and going to theme parks and when I have to go in the office to get paper work done. All my sons love it. I haven’t used the standing position yet because I use the back for napping and occasional diaper changes when I am in the office. It is very roomy. I could fit a lot of stuff in the basket and my kids love it. It is in the heavy side. but that’s only because it is durable and sturdy.

  25. Tiffany, mother of 2 on November 1st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a 2 year old & a 2 month old. This stroller is great because the toddler can sit or stand on the back or ride up front. It easily will hold 2 toddlers! The back seat comes off easily, although the instructions were horrible!!It also fits my Evenflo infant car seat prefectly. This stroller folds up very easily & is not that heavy. It does fit in the trunk of my Grand Prix, but not much room left. The baggage compartment below is very hard to get to & the storage on the handle is very small. But, overall I love this stroller & I do recommend it to everyone.

  26. Mom of 2 Boyz on November 4th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I ordered this product before delivering my second son in hopes that it would fit my current Evenflo Travel system car seat and fit my 2 year old son comfortably…it does that and more! It was very easy to build. It is easy to fold and not really any larger than my single strollers when folded in the back of my Honda CRV. My older son LOVES the canopy, he says he is “hiding!” My only comment would be that the foot room for the seat behind is a little snug for my 2 year old. He is pretty tall and gets stuck. I think this will work itself out when I no longer need to fit the infant carrier in. Also, the basket is large, but a little tricky to get too. Once you figure it out, you are smooth sailing. I would recommend this stroller in a heartbeat and would buy it again!

  27. Mom on the go... on November 6th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a four year old and a six month old. The stroller has been fantastic! I shopped and researched every double stroller out there. I’ve now had this stroller for about a month and I LOVE it! My four year old can ride in the front and lie down in the back. I can also put the infant seat in the front or back. The storage on the bottom is very big. It pushes like a dream. I’ve seen comments about it being heavy, which it is, but that is also what makes it so sturdy and easy to push. The only time the weight is apparent is when your putting it in and out of the car. I wouldn’t change a thing about this stroller.

  28. Mom of 2 in FL on November 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This is now my third double stroller in 3 months. I have a 3 month old and a 23 month old. This stroller is by far the best investment I’ve ever made. I first had a $700 Bumbleride double stroller and then we had the Peg Perego twin 60/40. I HATE the side by side stroller. My daughter loves this stroller and so does my 3 month old son. It’s easy to lift in and out of my SUV, (it’s a little heavy but what double stroller isn’t) my husband likes the stroller. It’s a great height for him and for myself, the stroller pushes easily and the storage basket underneath is huge, a little hard to get to but it serves it’s purpose. All in all I would totally recommend this stroller to anyone who has two kids. We love it.

  29. lilia dawn on December 4th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. I told my husband this was the best investment we made. I have one infant and one toddler and it meets both of there needs. I use the stroller almost everywhere I go. My 2 yr old doesn’t really like sitting in shopping carts, but he loves ridding in this stroller. I also have a KIA SUV and the stroller fits nicely in the back and I still have a little room for other things.

  30. Lisa on December 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Infant seat only fits in the front so the older child h as to sit in the back seat. Very little leg room for the older child!

The basket is really hard to get things in and out of.

I will be returning this item asap!

  31. Jess on December 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a two month old and a 26 month old and I was looking for a stroller that would accommodate my kids as they grew. This stroller is perfect. My older son loves looking at his little sister while he rides in the second seat. I haven’t used the sit and stand portion of it yet, due to my sons age but I am looking forward to NOT having to buy yet another stroller to accomodate my growing children. This stroller is easy to fold and is not bulky – it actually is the same size as my single travel stroller when it is folded. I would certainly recommend this stroller.

  32. HJ on December 14th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Easy to assemble, folds easily, kids seem pretty comfortable. I noticed that the front foot rest is kind of high, and there isn’t much recline for either seat. I have a 21 mo old and a 5 mo old, and it works nicely. Seems like this is a stoller that will grow with them. Love that I can use as a double stroller or use the sit and stand option down the road.

  33. Mother of 2 on December 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

Great stroller for my 2 year old and newborn. My 2 year old is on the small side so he has plenty of legroom in the back seat when used as a double stroller (he’s never slept in a stroller so I am not sure how comfy the seat is for this type of thing). For the price, this stroller has great features and is very light weight. It would be near perfect if it had rubber wheels and if the footrest didn’t fall off sometimes when you fold it. Overall a great value.

  34. jess k mom of 3 on December 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I recently bought this stroller to use for outings with my two toddlers. When our baby comes in April, I will use it for the baby and our younger son. So far I have not been extremely impressed with it. I wish the handle was wider to make it easier to turn. If both seats are being used it is much easier to control, but with just the front seat occupied, it is awkward. My son has a hard time getting in and out of the seat with the back canopy on, so I might just remove it. I do wish the basket were a bit easier to access, as many others have commented. The instructions were extremely confusing. (I hope we got everything put together correctly.) On the other hand, it is very easy to fold up and is narrow enough to fit through aisles when shopping. It folds up as small as my single stroller did and easily fits on one side of my trunk. Of course the cup-holders are convenient as well. The kids think it is fun too. I have not used it with an infant carrier yet, so I haven’t made up my mind overall on whether I would recommend it to a friend.

  35. mom of 3 littles ones on December 25th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I use it for me 2yr and my 14mth. It is mostly for the mail and other place that there are not baskets. It is light wait. That is what I like the most. It fittest in the back of my van and there is still room left. I do not like that you cannot reach the under part of the stroller is you have both seats in. For bigger kids their feet get stuck if there are in the second seat.

  36. Mom of two on January 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I just bought this stroller about 2 weeks ago and so far, I love it. I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old and the stroller is very easy to maneuver. It is true, the 2nd seat leg room is minimal, but I love the fact that the seat can be removed for the sit-n-stand function. I haven’t tried this yet, but I’m looking forward to trying it out. Overall, I would recommend this stroller. I returned a Peg-Perego 60/40 stroller because it was too wide and this one is perfectly narrow for the aisles.

  37. Mother of 3 on January 5th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This double stroller is easy to handle. Opening and closing is easy too.

  38. Jammies on January 6th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I looked for a double stroller for a while before I decided on this one. It is everything I expected. I love that our 2 1/2 year old can either sit in the seat or on the bench and the seat is easy to remove. The sunshades adjust and stay at any position but the rear one pops off if you are not careful with it. It is easy to push and fold. It folds to the same size as the evenflo single I have but is a little heavier. The parent compartment in the handle is small my sunglasses dont fit. Overall a very good stroller.

  39. Mother of Two on January 11th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a three week old and a 21 month old, I couldnt bring myself to spend money on the Graco Quattro Tour for Two, and I liked that this one does the sit and stand for my older girl. I was nervous when we got this because testing it out my big girl rattled the seat in front of her- but now that the infant car seat (our hand-me-down Graco) is strapped in front she likes seeing the baby and doesn’t mess with her. I read some other reviews that said the older child has less leg room (in the back) which is true- it’s pretty tight back there, but my girl is petite, and she doesnt mind the lack of room.
The storage underneath is hard to get to unless you unsnap a button on the side, that doesnt need to be snapped in the first place- so that works itself out.
I’m no body builder, and the stroller is still light enough for me to get in and out of my Mazda 3 hatchback (the graco quattro for two would fit back there too if you were wondering what would fit in your little car!)
So overall- I’d buy this one again, I wish the baby was in the back (closer to me) but for the price this works out just fine-

  40. Mommy of 2 under 2! on January 19th, 2009 at 12:00 am

My husband and I received this as a gift as we were expecting our second child and had a 15 month old too! We use the stroller all the time. The infant carrier attaches easlily on the front of the stroller and my son is fine with sitting in the back. He’s always excited to go for a ride anywhere. Now that my baby is older we will now place my older son in the front and put the baby in the “back” seat. Each time we use this stroller we are so thankful to have it. Other reviews indicated this stroller was bulky/heavy. I find that it’s no bulkier than the single stroller we used before and I can easily pick it up. It folds easy and has a latch to ensure it doesn’t pop apart (like our single stroller would do). We are looking forward to using this with the sit and stand feature when my oldest gets a bit older. I would recommend this stroller to anyone with 2 children close in age.

  41. Keycia, mother of 2 close together on January 21st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have two little girls, one that is 2 years and the other is 9 months. As soon as we put the stroller together my two-year old was ecstatic. She loves her “big girl” stroller. The stroller was easy to put together, and contrary to other reviews I had read, the instructions weren’t that difficult to follow. The storage compartment is hard to access, but will hold plenty of items. The stroller is easy to stand up and easy to put down. I would recommend this stroller to other parents.

  42. Royce on January 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I like everything about it except the head suport for the back seat doesn’t work or is broken.. There’s support up to his shoulders but the head part flaps back and forth..? There’s a strap in back to make it tighter but it doesn’t do much. He definitely can’t fall asleep in it… I figure my son will be standing soon and he doesn’t look like he is uncomfortable but I would have liked it to have better head support.

  43. Tamara on February 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I am a mother of 4 and this is the best stroller that I have ever purchased. It is easy to handle with one hand too. It folds to the same size as my single. Light weight too.

  44. international mother of 2 on February 8th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 4 and 2y/o, moved overseas and wanted something lightweight and useful. I have to say my husband loves this stroller more than anything I’ve ever bought! I spent weeks reviewing and researching, and finally bought this stroller.
    Pluses:
    1. lightweight
    2. folds pretty compactly (but could be better, without footrest. doesn’t always lock in place)
    3. cupholders work great
    4. like the double canopy and option to sit/stand in rear seat
    5. option for infant carseat attachement
    6. easy to steer

    Negatives:
    1. doesn’t fold or hold well when folded down
    2. seats in general are on the small side, my small 2 y/o barely fits comfortably in front seat, and actually hates it, but can sleep and the small bit of recline helps
    3. not too easy to convert from rear seat to sit/stand option
    4. difficult to access basket (would be nicer if seat flipped up), though sizeable very difficult to get things back out once u slip it under

My 4 y/o is big and he is comfy in the rear, but would not fit once converts to seat. He loves it back there, and often my younger one fights to sit there instead. Neither of them like the front seat, way too small for the 4 y/o.
Overall good stroller, I would buy it again. And I got a great deal on it, paid half of advertised price on winter clearance.

  45. mom of two boys on February 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got this stroller when I had my second son. I have a two year old and a one year old. I love the fact that the tray in the front is easily removed which makes it alot easier to get my son in and out. there is enough room for my older son to ride in the back, and I can close it one handed while carrying my son which I love beacause then he can try to run off. it is fairly light weight for such a stroller, I am small but it is still easy for me to carry the bag at the bottom works great when we walk up to the store. I will tell anyone that has more then on child to buy this stroller

  46. Two wee babes... on February 11th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a newborn and a 16-month-old, so will use this stroller until our older child doesn’t need the sit and stand anymore. The basket is not accessible to hold larger things (not even a diaper bag), unless you unsnap the sides. It doesn’t seem terribly inconvenient to me, though. I am used to a jogging stroller, and this stroller doesn’t roll quite as nicely. It is a bit heavy to push, but considering I have 40 pounds of children in it, plus the weight of the car seat, and the weight of the stroller itself, I expected this. It folds nicely, though, and it fits in the trunk of my car. The basket of my stroller arrived ripped, and Baby Trend is replacing it without any big hassle…I don’t even have to return the ripped one.

We got this stroller for our active 30 month old and soon to be baby. It was easy to put together, no damage/missing parts. The transition between sit/stand seat and double stroller seat toook about 10 minutes, so although it could be done while out, it seems that you would have to make the arrangements prior to trips. It folds to the same general size of our Evenflo travel system, yet a little heavier. With the travel system carrier in place, it is as long as a regular double stroller. Ample leg room for our 36″ tall child in 2nd seat. Basket may be tricky to get into, but it there are snaps that you can undo to make the openings bigger. Nice to have the sit and stand option though for our active child. He will love seeing the baby face to face. So far so good!

I just recently had my second child and received this stroller as a gift. The deciding factor in choosing this stroller was the size and weight of the stroller. Now that I am using it the thing I like about this stroller is that right now I can use it as a traditional stroller and when my first born gets a little older I can convert it into a sit and stand. It is also easy for me to get in and out of my SUV and to unfold. I have however, had some trouble folding it back up when I am done using it. The only other negative is that my first born is tall for his age and doesn’t have much leg room in the back seat of the traditional stroller. I’m sure once we switch to the sit and stand it will be fine. So overall, I really like this stroller and the positives much out-weigh the negatives.

  49. Mom of two on February 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 2 month old and a 2 year old. I wanted to get a double stroller, but I also was told to get a sit n’stand stroller. My friends who had the double stroller said they didn’t use it for long, and wished they had a sit n’stand stroller. Then my friends who had a sit n’stand said it was to big for their two year old. This one is perfect because it is both! The only problem we run into is that there isn’t much room for my son’s feet when my daughter is in the infant seat in the front…but it works!

  50. Mom of 2 under 2 on February 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am

It’s almost impossible to access the storage basket. The seats are so disfunctional, it seems like my girls are slouching and sliding dowm in the seat all of the time, I don’t think that it is comfortable for them.

  51. jacob and sararuth on February 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Overall I liked the sit and stand but the wheeles are to small. I have a 2 year old and 1 year old. Even pushing the stroller in the mall is hard with both of them in. It is a smooth ride but hard to push. I understand this stroller probably was not made for uneven terrain, but the mall..come on!!! If the manufacture made the wheeles two inches bigger it would make the pushing a whole lot easier. I am already tired from the day to day stuff..I dont need a back strain as well.

  52. Mom of 2 in AZ on February 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is the perfect stroller for people who have two kids. It is skinny to get around in stores light weight easy to open and close and is nice in appearance. Unbelievable value for the price. Highly recommend!

  53. Grandma and Lovin' it!! on February 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

A little heavy, but I kind of expected that. Perfect for 2 busy little boys. Many extra features make it easy to set up and take down.

  54. ZSMom on March 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The stroller is a good value for a double, but it has a serious design flaw. When folding the stroller, you have to unbutton the back canopy from the seat and then lay the front canopy back. It’s the only way to get it to close properly. When opening the stroller, that front canopy can snag the back seat and snap the seat back in two. It happened to me the very first time I unfolded the stroller. It took very little force to totally crack the seat.
Baby Trend did send me a replacement seat without much hassle, but it was hard to get a hold of a customer service rep to begin with.

My relatively small almost-3 year old complains that there isn’t enough leg room in the back seat. I’ve taken to unsnapping the seat near her feet, so she can put them in the basket. But then her feet get stuck.
The infant seat will fit somewhat securely in the back seat, so we may try that instead.

I would recommend the stroller, but only because I thought it was more versatile than other doubles, and is well priced for the features. I would just warn people to be careful when unfolding it.

  55. Olive and Eden's Mommy on March 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got the advanced version because I didn’t think my 2 y/o was ready for that much freedom yet, but will eventually (the manual recommends 2 1/2 yrs for standing). My favorite part about it though is the way the seats are set up. Usually with a double the baby’s car seat is up high by the seat closer to you, and your toddler is several feet away facing forward. I feel like I’d have to speak pretty loudly to get her attention, and I wouldn’t be able to see her so I wouldn’t know what she’s looking at or if she’s sleeping etc. The sit ‘n stand has the car seat in the front but facing you, and your toddler goes right under you where you can pass her snacks and converse without pausing your stroll.

  56. Mom of Two on March 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Both my boys (almost three yrs and newborn) love the stroller. My older son really likes the second seat; he pulls the canopy down and says he’s on a secret mission. He also has fallen asleep in the stroller several times so I’m glad we went with the double seat option vs. the traditional sit and stand. We haven’t used the jump seat yet but he liked it on the test ride in the store. My newborn travels in his Graco car seat which is easy to secure to the stroller. I think he likes watching his older brother for those brief moments that he is awake in the stroller. We’ve taken it on several walks and various outings and it has made life a lot easier. It is a bit heavier to push than our single stroller but it is not bad and worlds easier than trying to push the single stroller while carrying a two year old. Folding it with the second seat installed requires a couple extra steps but overall is fairly easy. It fits in the trunk of our Honda Civic.

This stroller is sooo great! I have a 16 month old and a newborn and it works perfect. I love the fact that it will grow with my toddler and in a few months we can take the seat out and he’ll have a place to just rest when he needs to sit down. The carseat holder is very secure and works with my chico car seat perfectly. I love it and would highly reccomend it to mommies with two little ones.

  58. AJ on March 18th, 2009 at 12:00 am

    What we like:

It is compatible with our Evenflo baby seat, and it took us forever to figure out that Baby Trend is compatible. This was a life-saver!

It is easy to put together.

It is easy to attach the Evenflo baby seat to the stroller.

It feels like it is high quality, no real flimsy parts.

It is fairly easy to recline/incline the seat in the back.

It is easy to fold/unfold, especially compared to out Evenflo single stroller.

    What I don’t like:

It is harder to maneuver than a convential single stroller (which probably could be said for most double strollers).

It is slightly difficult to access the underneath storage area.

All in all, I definately recommend this product.

  59. Jtac on March 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I just received this stroller today and I think I’m going to like it. It was easy to set up and not as bulky or heavy as I would have expected. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the backseat is not as easy to remove as I thought it would be. Unattaching the crotch strap is pretty difficult. Maybe after using it alot I’ll get the hang of it. Otherwise, I would totally recommend!

  60. PoeMom on March 29th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Have had the stroller about 2 weeks. Set up took my husband and I about 15 minutes. It seems very sturdy and accomodates two children as described. My 20 month old’s feet are a bit scrunched (she’s 32″ tall), as others have described, while sitting in the back seat due to the cover over the basket below. Also, the back seat doesn’t have a very good system for holding the backrest up. It’s kind of like a drawstring which doesn’t tighten that easily to keep the rear child completely upright. However, we can prop her comfortably with her blankets.I do like that the stroller is about the size of my single, Graco travel system stroller (open and folded); that it folds up easily; isn’t terribly heavy; can accomodate our Graco SnugRide infant carrier and then convert to a 5-point harness in the front seat with a snack and drink tray; has a 5-point harness in the back seat and can then convert to the sit/stand system when our toddler is older; and that there are 2 drink holders and a cubby for the parents. We haven’t used the stroller on any long outings yet. However, our pushes around the house have proven the stroller to be easy to manuever. It is a little longer than our other stroller, but that is to be expected for two seats instead of one. Also, I am glad I paid $30 more for the brown/green color combo of this Everest model because it closely matches the colors on my Graco infant seat.

  61. Leah, Mommy of 2 on March 30th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 4 month old and a 2 year old. This stroller is perfect for our needs. Its light and easy to steer. Our Graco infant seat fits perfectly in front. Our 2 year old fit perfectly fine in the back seat. The seat has a bit of a recline to it, but it was never anything that bothered my daughter. I did unsnap the foot rest for the back seat because my daughters legs didn’t have enough room. So her feet hang down into the basket.

To remove the backseat, I just unsnap everything, but leave the crotch buckle in place (Its pretty hard to remove) and push the seat forward into the basket. That way it is always with us, so if she wants to sit, its easy to put the seat back together.

If both sunshades are on, it is difficult to get the stroller to collapse. I remove the front sunshade and it closes without a problem.

There is not much room in the basket underneath, and it is a little difficult to get to, but I just bought “The Mommy Hook” from Babies R Us, and it is perfect for hanging the diaper bag and shopping bags on the handle.

Overall I’m VERY happy with this stroller. I recommend it to everyone.

  62. flmommy on March 30th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I use it with my 33 month old and 4 month old and they have been very happy with it so far, the baby loves to watch his big sister and my daughter feels like a big girl in it… no complaints… it is very lightweight compared to other double strollers like Graco. Folds up just like my single Graco stroller. And it will last a long time because the second seat can taken out!

  63. Army wife mom of 2 on April 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this stroller when my husband deployed to Iraq 3 months ago, we have a 21 month old and an 8 month old and with no car I was so excited to get this. I do like this stroller overall but the basket is WAY too small and hard to access. I cant even put our diaper bag down there and have to hang it over the handle. The backseat is AWFUL my son who is 21 months has no leg room and is very uncomfortable and the seat back is always semi reclined and just looks so uncomfortable, he complains quite a bit and I don’t blame him. I don’t know if I would buy this again but despite the flaws it is a lifesaver for me and I use it daily. […]

  64. 2blueeyedbabes on April 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

We did alot of research and decided on this stroller for our 4 month old and 2 year old. We have had it about 4 months and I don’t love it. The front seat is too small for my 2 year old and when he sits in the back he can never sit all the way up…he’s always partly reclined. The storage basket is difficult to access, only from the sides. There isn’t much leg room for whomever sits in back. As far as steering…the handle doesn’t seem wide enough so it’s hard to turn and maneuver. We wanted this stroller so we could use the standing part for our two year old when he was old enough but instead we’re going to sell it and get another one.

  65. wabbit on April 8th, 2009 at 12:00 am

all in all this is almost perfectly oustanding.when stroller’s folded the front canopy oddly sticks strait up & if either the canopy or the back seat is off, the locking device will bend because of too much play. i just hope it wont break. no side step for the back. it would be nice if the back would come with little removable cup and snack holder’s on the side’s. could be a smoother ride. lighter than most.

  66. RandJsMommy on April 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have 2 children ages 2 and 7 months and this is perfect for us.It took us like 5 min. to put together and I couldn’t ask for a better stroller! It turns and stops just like our single stroller did and when folded it was smaller than our single stroller!! If you are looking ofr a double stroller I recommend this one hands down!!

  67. Mom of 3 under 5 on April 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller! I have a 5yr, 3 yr old and 2 yr old. We have taken this to the Aquarium and Castle Island. The baby sits `in the front the 3yr old on the bench seat and the 5 yr old stands on the platform. This product has made our lives so much easier. Yes, the basket is difficult to access and a large diaper bag does not fit. I just packed a smaller diaper bag and accessed the basket from the sides. I don’t have the one with the parent tray yet so I cannot comment on it. I would definitely recommend this product. I is easily maneuverable. It fits in my Nissan Quest nicely and leaves room. Unlike my Graco Quattro single. It would be great if this were made with all terrain tires. Now I’m getting ahead of myself.

  68. Pam mom of 2! on April 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a new born and a 2 1/2 year old, Now my eldest child is a wild one, very hyper, but if i decide to let him run around and he gets tired I can let him sleep in the back seat, this is why I picked this stroller, Mostly the sit in stand is used, but for those family strolls it is a def. plus to have the actual seat for him to rest!
This double feature is the reason why i bought it and the reason why i love it, it also very compact and not heavy.
The colors aren’t the best but at least they are neutral!

  69. Tacomamomma on April 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller.. i have a 16 month old and 7 week old and it saved me quite a few times when i had to go to doctor visits. My 16 month old it a large boy. He weights 32 pounds is 30 somthing inches long and loves riding in the back seat and my 7 week old fits great in his graco carseat on the front. I couldnt ask for a better investment!!

  70. Liz on April 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

The only thing that I do not like about this stroller so far is that it does not lock in the closed position as all of my Graco strollers do making it kind of cumbersome to handle when folded. Other than that it is perfect for my 2year old and 3 month old.

  71. Shopping mommy on May 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

We call it the limo but love it. Very easy to steer even though it is large, Folds up smaller than my Graco single stroller, Not as heavy as I thought it would be, Fits very easily in my Chevy Malibu trunk, wish there was a tray for the toddler seat in the back but not that big of a deal to me, Storage at bottom is not easiest to get into but I just bought diaper bag that hangs from handle bars, have newborn and 2 1/2 yr old and both fit well even when napping. Love the stroller glad I bought it!!

  72. Crazy Mom of Two on May 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 13 month old and a 2 week old and this stroller has been amazing. It’s SUPER easy to lift and is compact for it’s size. I only wish you had an option of putting the newborn in the rear seat because my 13 month old likes to look around and it is hard for her to see over the baby seat.

  73. Mom of 2 on June 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a newborn and a 2 and 1/2 y/o and this stroller was ideal on paper. However, in person it is hugely bulky and does not fit in my Honda Civic trunk–it is heavy and hard to pick up to put in trunk. The lock when it is collapsed does not lock. There is little space for child in rear seat. The canopies do no come off easily. The rear seat stays pretty reclined all the time. We will be returning this and probably will buy a Phil and Ted double stroller.

  74. Mommaof2 on July 8th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a 4 1/2 y/o and a newborn! This stroller is perfect! My 4 1/2 y/o is small for her age, but fits fine in the back seat. If she wants to sit in front the back reclines far enough for my son – it is perfect.

The best part of this double stroller- it is light and fits in the trunk of my car (nissan altima). There are not a lot of double strollers will collapse like this one!

I would recommend this to everyone with 2 kids. We have not converted it to a sit-n-stand yet, but it appears to be a breeze!

  75. Lindsay mom to soon to be 2 on July 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I Love this stroller however I was alittle confused about what strap to use in the front for the carseat… I have a graco Safeseat and it is alittle to big for the front seat and doesn’t lay right so i figured out a way to put the seat in the back. It isn’t heavy at all and fits in my ford fusion it is kinda a pain to have to take off the front canopy to put it in their thou but oh well… nothing is perfect.

  76. Ashley, new Mom of 2 on July 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have really enjoyed this stroller. Like the reviews have said not great access to the under storage, but i read everywhere how big and awkward it is to push… I haven’t had a problem at all. Even on walks on the road. I think it’s great! Really manuverable. Easy to set up and take down, kind of heavy to throw in my car, but it’s a double stroller… most would be the same way. For the money you can’t go wrong!

  77. Mom of Three Girls - 3 mos, 3 yrs and 6 on August 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a newborn (so we snap a Graco car seat in front) and 2 other kids. YES, it’s not “lightweight” stroller. However, you can’t expect it to be when it’s carrying a carseat, an infant and a toddler (plus whatever baggage you put on/inside it). BUT – I’ve had a lightweight Peg Perego side-by-side and Combi side-by-side. Neither of these could hold a car seat AND neither of them promised to fit through ALL doorways. I thought I hit the jackpot with the reviews on my Peg Perego Aria Twin, but it was hit or miss with doorways and felt uneven if you had two kids who didn’t weigh the same in it. It was tough to push. I had many incidents where I had to take the kids out, fold the stroller up and walk it through the doorway because it didn’t fit… NOT fun. I knew I needed a tandem stroller. This stroller is the best because it’s one of the lighter ones out there, and has nice features like dual cup holders and a lid-covered tray for mom, plus great trays for the kids. It’s “solid” and is definitely a “full size” stroller to push around, but it folds easily, fits in my van trunk and the kids are comfy riding in it. I’ve actually had my 3 year old sitting on my 6 year old’s lap in the back with the newborn in her car seat in the front. It’s a tough stroller. I used it for several months with my 6 and 3 year old and now use it with the car seat and the newborn. My only complaint is that the basket is unreachable when there is a car seat strapped in. I bought those hooks for the parent handlebar and hang my bag there instead… but it’s annoying if you’re shopping – you can’t put bags in the basket. When the baby is out of her carseat, this problem will be fixed.

Great stroller. Serves its purpose well. Best on smooth surfaces. A bit difficult to get over ledges or bumps. I have a 3 week old and 19 month old. My 19 mo old is very tall for his age and does have difficulty fitting his legs down comfortably when I have the car carrier in, but he adjusts and in a couple months when the car carrier is not used it will be fine. My GRACO car carrier fits fine in the front of the stroller. SUPER easy to close and open, and fairly light to throw in my trunk…actually takes up less room than my single jogger stroller. I highly recommend. I researched so many double strollers that fit within my budget and I am very pleased with my choice.

  79. Allison mom of 2 on August 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I already own a Baby Trend jogger travel system and I love it so of course I wanted to get a Baby Trend double stroller. On the website it looked black and green but it really is a dark chocolate and green which is fine, still cute colors. I use it a lot! I like not having to constantly chase after my toddler. The car seat we have fits great in the second seat. It folds up so easily! It folds up much easier and flatter than my jogger. It is a long stroller but it manuvers easily. Anyone who has a little baby and a toddler would benefit from having this double stroller!

  80. Missy on August 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We ordered this stroller thinking it would fit our Chicco infant car seat because it did fit in the back of the "Double Sit N Stand" at […]. This is not "Double Sit N Stand". They call it that online here at T R US but it is actually the Baby Trend Sit N Stand PLUS in the color Everest. It doesn’t fit at all. We chose this one because of the colors but it it isn’t the same stroller. Oh, and the one at […] isn’t meant to fit our seat. It does not snap like the others but we feel it will be completely safe w/the strap over the seat. It fits down in the seat nicely and doesn’t crowd the front seat!

  81. Gemini mom on August 25th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller! My husband and I were at Babies R Us for over an hour with our two boys, 2 month old and 2 1/2 year old, seeing which one would fit them better. We have been searching for a double stroller for about 6 months and finally narrowed it down to this one or Contours Option Tandem Stroller in red. Our two month old has an Eddie Bauer car seat that is bulky and we were very afraid that it wouldn’t fit both the car seat and our older son. The Contour stroller fit the car seat nicely but it didn’t fit our 2 1/2 year old son. His legs were dangling. This stroller fit both our 2 1/2 year old and the car seat just perfectly. The only thing that I wish it had was a bigger basket. It doesn’t fit our diaper bag so well. But other than that we love it and would recomend it to any mother of two or more.
