Both me and my son LOVE this stroller. My son is a year and 2 months old and weighs 28 pounds so I needed something that was light enough that I can lift and spacey enough so he can be comfortable and this is it. I highly recommend it.

  2. airforcewifeandmommyto1 on December 28th, 2007 at 12:00 am

We bought this stroller while living overseas…its great I love how light it is! Even my husband doesnt mind pushing it 😛

  3. the Mercedes Benz of all strollers on January 6th, 2008 at 12:00 am

  4. Wife and Mom of Two (tween + infant) on January 31st, 2008 at 12:00 am

After having a stroller that didnt have a slim design or a sturdy harness and realizing my active boy was almost ready to jump out of it i decided in Maclaren and it was the best choice. I love the slimness of it and the harness are built in they arent flimsy harness that you tuck in. And i just love the color !!! Perfect doesnt stain, goes w. everything- Great Idea!!!

  5. Working Mom on the Go on February 7th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I no it’s pricey but I believe it’s worth every penny. I absolutely love this stroller it’s sleek, light weight, and very stylish. My son looks great in and I feel great pushing it. My only complaint about this stroller is the shoulder harness/saftey belts are hard to fasten.

  6. Garretts-mom on April 3rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

Our son is 9 weeks old & holds up his head very well. He is 11.lbs-10.oz 25″ long. I feel as though this is the Perfect stroller for him/us.

I hate leaving him in his car seat when we go out, and the travel system stroller (waste of money) takes up my ENTIRE trunk. This Maclaren has changed my life! It takes up hardly any space, is light-weight, folds easily, steers beautifully (I’m 5’4 ,daddy is 6’1) and is sooooo cute. (the print is a black-gray-light blue combo)

WELL worth the price in my opinion. Although the basket is small & diffucult to get into when fully reclined, we make due.

  7. Soon-To-Be Mom on April 8th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I just received this stroller as a baby shower gift and cannot wait to use it! I registered for it because after trying out numerous strollers in the store (incl. the bulky travel systems), this one was by far the most lightweight and stylish. And believe me, it looks SO much nicer and more chic in person than it does on the website photo!! It’s also gender-neutral, which was a plus for me. I’m sure my baby-to-be is going to love riding around town in it!

  8. TC's Mommy on May 1st, 2008 at 12:00 am

Best light weight stroller around! Very easy to maneuver and folds in a snap. It was time to retire my Snap and Go, because I wanted my baby boy to able to see the sites while strolling him around. I heard great things about Maclaren and they don’t lie. When I saw this design, it was a must have…very unique and fashionable! I totally recommend this product! It is a little pricey, but sooo worth the money!!!

  9. James' Mom on May 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. I use it for my 10 month old who loves to go walking. It folds nicely for my trunk space and has a lot of support in the frame. The handles are tall so that a taller individual could easily push it. I love the color, how easy it is to stear and how sturdy it is. I love the recline when James fall asleep. I wish the basket was bigger but seeming that it is an umbrella stroller, you can’t go to big. I would highly recommend this to any parent! It is by far the best stroller on the market.

  10. English Mum on June 13th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I had to have a Maclaren because my mother had one for my sister and I which she also used for in home daycare 10 years later, so I knew it would last. I spent agaes trying to decide which one. Finally got this one because of the extendable legrest, it was easier to recline than the cheaper trimph and the it comes with the rain cover (we are going to england on vacation soon). My son is 10 months and loves it. If he falls asleep in his car seat I can put him in this stroller and he will go back to sleep. it folds easliy and is so much lighter than my old travel system. I can’t belive I did not buy it sooner. The basket is hard to acess when reclined but I just put the essentials in the pocket thing on the back instead. Plan on buying the travel bag so it does not get too dirty on the plane.

  11. Ashley on June 13th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I didn’t want to spend this much on an umbrella stroller, but I am now VERY glad that I did. This is the best stroller I have owned. It is very compact, light and fits in to the trunk of my 2 door Accord. My son is 5 months old and is always comfortable and falls asleep easily in this stroller. It rides smooth and turns easily. I wish the basket was a bit bigger and that there was a cup holder, but the ride and lightweight of this stroller make up for those flaws. Excellent stroller – would highly recommend.

  12. Ra Ra on July 17th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I LOVE this stoller! It is so lightweight and easy to use! My 10 month old loves to ride around in it. He actually starts crying when I try to take him out of it because he is having so much fun! Which is quite a change from when he was in his travel system stoller. I tried out a lot of the lightweight strollers in the store and this one is by far the best one on the market! It is expensive for an umbrella stroller, but I think it was worth every penny! You know they say you get what you pay for. And in this case it is true. You pay a little more for it but you get a lightweight, easy to use, comfortable stroller that you and your little one will love!

  13. Stephanie on July 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Great stroller, lightweight and extremely durable!

  14. JP mommy on July 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We recieved this as a babyshower gift and it is soo smooth and lightweight. This stroller is very stylish.

  15. KOBE'S MOMMY on August 1st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I LOVE THIS STROLLER, IT’S VERY LIGHT, STYLISH, AND EASY TO USE.

MY SON LOVE’S THIS STROLLER AND HE GETS TO SEE EVERYTHING UNLIKE THE TRAVEL STROLLER HE ONLY SEE’S MOM AND DAD.

DON’T RECOMMEND FOR SMALL BABY’S UNLESS YOU PUT THE SNUZZLER HEAD BODY SUPPORT LIKE WE DID.

  16. New Mom on August 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

It can’t get any better! This is sturdy, easy to use and comfortable. I love the adjustable back and foot rest. Also, I love the fact that it holds children up to 55 lbs. We’re looking forward to getting several good years of use out of this stroller. The chic design is also a bonus.

  17. Ms.Amanda on August 28th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller is perfect! I purchased it for a trip with the intent to sell it as soon as we got back! NO WAY! I love it! I am buying up all the acces. to go with and the rain cover that comes with it is great!

  18. Evan's mama on September 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I had researched numerous strollers when my son started walking. I needed something lightweight and easy to maneuver so he could get in and out of the stroller easily and wouldn’t add more bulk to my existing gear. This stroller is truly THE BEST one out there. Being that quite a few of my friends already have kids, I was able to test drive all of their strollers and the Maclaren beats them all! Its light, easy to open and close, can maneuver it with ONE hand <--a real plus when you're holding your toddler's hand. Also great to throw over your shoulder when you're on the go. I found this to be convenient when I take my son on bart or on the ferry. The only drawback is that the basket is hard to get to when the stoller is in the reclined position but its not a very big deal. My son LOVES his stroller. Its comfy enough for him to nap in, cross his legs or extend it. I can't say enough good things about it!!

  19. Mama Maryl on September 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller! Very lightweight, easy to open and close… i won’t leave home without it. The only minor complaint (if you can call it that) is that the basket is pretty small. Wish it came with a bigger basket to shop with.

  20. new mom on the block on September 25th, 2008 at 12:00 am

i loved this stroller it is everything i expected. Its lightweight easy to navigate.the only thing i didnt like was the basket was to small for me.

  21. Parent on Da Go on September 27th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Best stroller ever, my daughter just love’s it. It’s quick and east to fold for when you need to get on da bus it’s light and durable for a parent who is always on the go. I just love the fact that you can unsnap and wash the seat cover to this stroller.

  22. Nicoray on October 2nd, 2008 at 12:00 am

Lightweight and cute, it’s perfect for older babies.

  23. nicsmom on October 5th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Back wheels make an annoying clicking noise. After 2 shipments of this stroller they both had the same defect. Stroller is not sturdy for a toddler. Will not buy this expensive Maclaren quest again. Maybe a volo for $99.00

  24. a mommy on November 19th, 2008 at 12:00 am

i read the review before i bought that someone wrote regarding the clicking noise in the wheels–and i hoped and hoped that it was an isolated incident-so i ordered this–and now i too–have the same defect!!!!! the annoying clicking sound–brand new—soooooo disappointed–i live in nyc-and really need a stroller–its like a car here-[…]—very unhappy mom today-

  25. green eyes on November 24th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Received this stroller as a registry gift, which was purchased online. Rear right brake does not fully disengage from the wheel, causing a clicking noise when the stoller is pushed. This noise was not acceptable to us, so we were able to exchange the defective stroller in the store for a green/charcoal quest sport. Not my first choice of color, but a quiet stroller is a much higher priority.

  26. new mom on December 2nd, 2008 at 12:00 am

it is so light- great for the trunk of the car. Perfect for the mall and errands. Not for off roading but thats true of any umbrella stroller. Love the pocket on the back for keys, phone, sippies etc. so easy to steer. bought mine on […] for less, love the black print 🙂 had a volo but it had no support in the seat for my 13 month old and tipped too easily, like the quest better.

  27. Tina on January 6th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this product for my 6 month old daughter.I have not used this product a lot yet but so far, everything seems great. It is durable, it’s cute, it’s light weight, rolls good. My daughter loves the new view and is very happy and content.

  28. Mother of One on January 21st, 2009 at 12:00 am

It’s fantastic – basket is decent for an umbrella stroller, it fits in crowded stores, it reclines for napping, has a fantastic rain shield, and lots and lots of shopping bags can be hooked onto the handles. It’s light, it can be folded with one hand while holding the kid, and it’s shoulder strap makes it fantastic for travel.

  29. NewMom on March 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I really like this stroller. I am using it as my “inside” stroller for now (for malls, etc.) and still using my MetroLite for outside since the tires are a little more bulky. I did notice a slight clicking noise on the back wheels because of the brakes, but no big deal to me. The print is super cute and I love how light it is! Perfect!

  30. NewMommy1 on March 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this product because I wanted a quick, easy, durable, comfortable and of course “cute” smaller stroller for my 8 month old. I was very bummed to open it and find that indeed, the rear right wheel clicked constantly. (the brake would not disengage completely) just like other customers had experienced. I guess I was just being optimistic and hoping that I would receive a keeper… […] I am one of those moms who doesn’t mind spending the extra money for quality for my little angel…but this stroller is definately NOT what I was hoping for…highly over rated!!!

  31. allysmom on April 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I was excited to finally order this stroller after all the comments I read. What a disappointment it was once I received it. Not as easy to use as I thought especially the recline feature and it makes this annoying clicking noise. I am going to be returning it tomorrow 🙁 I was really expecting a lot more from this stroller considering the price you pay…

  32. Claire's mom on April 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I absolutely love this stroller! I’d been using the bulky travel system since my daughter was born a year ago. While the travel system was convenient with the infant seat, it was bulky and difficult to navigate through stores. It also took up most of the back of our SUV. After thoroughly researching lightweight strollers, I purchased the Maclaren Quest. It is a dream!! It is so lightweight, folds compactly, and is incredibly easy to steer. I used it at the mall yesterday and I was able to push my daughter around while holding a smoothie in one hand. I was even able to steer the stroller around clothing racks with just one hand! The basket underneath isn’t huge, but it was plenty large enough for a small diaper bag and a small shopping bag. The stroller also looks cute, has a nice padded seat with a footrest you can extend, and a reclining, nicely padded seat. These features made it worth the extra $$ over the Volo in my opinion.

I had no problem with the brake clicking. When I first got this out of the box and set it up, I heard the clicking, but once I fully disengaged the brake the sound went away. I haven’t had any problems since then.

My only (very minor) complaint is that it lacks a cupholder. That is true of nearly all umbrella strollers, though. It is so easy to steer one-handed, though, you hardly need the cupholder.

  33. Mom of 2 on April 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

As soon as I saw this stroller, I loved it! It is easy to open, close, carry, maneuver and put away. Although, I was disappointed to find out that it has a defect on the back wheel. If you could tune out the click-clack, that’s great! I find it extremely annoying and will be returning it! Don’t get me wrong, if it did not have a clicking noise every time the stroller is being pushed, I would be in complete heaven. Therefore, I am disappointed and amazed that an expensive and well known brand item would not have been recalled!!!

  34. Busy Bee on April 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I LOVE this stroller! It is perfect for our travels and takes up 1/8 of the room that our travel system did. I did have some issues with the clicking of the brake at first, but it seems to have worked itself out. My son actually stays in it and it’s very easy to put up and take down.

My only con is there aren’t any cup holders, but that was easily rectified by buying the matching organizer.

  35. Julie-Mommy of 2 on May 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I ordered this stroller online because of the cute pattern that I could use for my 3 year old boy and 6 month old girl. My son is only 33 lbs., so they both can use the stroller. I ordered it primarily for my daughter, but my son gets upset if he can’t ride in it. So, I let them take turns. My daughter is about 15 lbs., and enjoys sitting in the stroller and the seat extends out so her feet don’t have to dangle down. The recline is nice too when it’s time for naps. It came with a raincover too which I haven’t had to use yet (maybe next year). I love using the stroller in the mall or in stores with narrow aisles. Also, when I’m busy holding my son’s hand and keeping him next to me, I can steer the stroller with one hand very easily. It does not have a cup holder, so I bought a storage bag that velcros on to the handles that has a cupholder in it. The only thing I wish it had was a longer hood that will keep the sun out of my baby’s eyes better. It can sometimes be a pain to have to set the brakes by hand instead of being able to use my feet like my other stroller. But, still this is overall my favorite stroller!

  36. New Mother on May 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

Was thrilled to buy a this for such a low price between the sale price and their 15% coupon. It does have the clicking noise other people talk about but being a house of engineers we figured out that the supporting bars just needed a little more tension and the clicking stopped. Maclaren really should fix their design but otherwise I am thrilled with my purchase. My 3 month old loves to be pushed around in and see the world.

  37. 1 st time mom on May 12th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is a great light weight stoller. You can easily carry it up stairs or in the subway. I agree with others who said it was a bit noisy because of the right wheel hitting the brakes, but you can hardly hear it in the busy streets, so i dont mind the clicking. Overall this is a good buy!!!

  38. Renata the mom on May 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

It is a really good product.

  39. Picky mom on May 18th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I recently purchased this stroller because I needed to downsize from my original big bulky Graco travel system stroller. I love this stroller. I did my research and decided on this stroller based on the modern pattern fabric and reviews. I would like to comment on some of the negative reviews; my stroller did not make any clicking sounds. I guess I am one of the lucky ones and I agree the stroller needs a cup holder and a little bigger basket. Although the little pouch between the handles is nice.
I recently used this stroller for a trip. It worked great at the airport and for the trip itself.
I like the small compact size for storing it in my SUV.
Overall, I think this is a great stroller and serves it’s purpose well. My 2 yr old son likes this stroller too!

  40. Roseville Mom on May 19th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I had great experience with the Maclaren stroller in the past when we had our first child, so I decided to purchase this stroller for my son. I ordered this stroller for the second time because the first one I got had problems with the wheels. My 16 month old son was literally bouncing while riding the stroller, therefore I returned it. Unfotunately, the second stroller I received yesterday still had the same exact problem and Maclaren do not have any replacement wheels for this particular stroller. Therefore, I have to return the stroller again. I was very dissapointed and unhappy with this product. It seems like 90% of the parents that bought this particular stroller have issues with the wheels. It will be best if Maclaren recalls this stroller because it’s a hassle to order it online, wait for your product to arrive and then find out it’s defective. Then, you’ll have to contact Babies R Us to request a return packing slip and then ship it back to them. I definitely don’t recommend this product to anybody.

  41. Emma's Mommy on May 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is absolutely perfect for a boy or girl. My daughter (19mo) loves that she is able to put her feet up on the extended seat and I love that it is effortless to maneuver around…My husband even loves it, which says a lot. Seriously. If you can get it on sale, as it is now, you will not regret it. If you are still carrying a large amount of stuff around with you whenever you go out, you might want to think about purchasing the organizer because the basket is on the small side (it can still hold plenty for a day of errands though). For a lightweight “umbrella” stroller it is perfect. It’s worth the money.

  42. Ryan's Mommy on June 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

Maclaren Quest Mod Stroller is absolutely perfect for a boy or girl . The Stroller is a easy to use stroller . I use the stroller everyday . I absolutely Love it and so dose my son (14 months). The Only thing about it is that the basket is small and no cup holder , but other than that its great and easy to close.

  43. Ethan's Mommy on June 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I did a lot of research before purchasing this stroller. Living on the second floor in a 3 flat in the city I needed something light, functional for lots of travel, and reclining. I did not experience the brake clicking that others have mentioned. My son is 13mos 27lbs, and it is the only stroller (we also have a jogger & peg perego pliko) that he will actually sleep. In recline, the sun shade covers all of his top half. Window from back of stoller to look inside, and pouch to hold keys/phone. I wish I would have bought this sooner! It is now the only stroller we use. I can also manuever with one hand and it steers perfectly.

  44. So on June 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

We returned the Volo because the mesh backing didn’t have good support. I liked the Quest, but the only thing we had a problem with were the brakes. I had to get down and move the brakes with my hands. Other strollers you can just use your foot. We are returning this one this weekend, because we just got the Maclaren XLR. My husband also didn’t like how the handles were too low. With the XLR the handles are adjustable.

  45. first time mom on June 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this stroller because I wanted something lightweight and less bulky than my travel system stroller. I’ve had the stroller for about 2 weeks and so far it has really been a great stroller. I just got back from Florida and this was a great stroller in the airport and for vacation. I would have given this 5 stars, however the back wheel did make a clicking noise at times. I had read reviews from other people and knew about this, so it really doesn’t bother me. Like I said, it is really seldom that there is clicking. So far my son loves the stroller and he is 13 months old and he’s very tall.

  46. Almost perfect on June 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I already own a Volo that I used for my older child. The Volo doesn’t lay back so for my baby we bought this one. I really like it. I don’t have the clicking noise that others have reported, but it doesn’t have the shoulder strap. I called the Maclaren store to see if I could have one added & they said no. We pulled the strap off of our Volo & rigged it to work…kinda, but I am slightly disappointed. As for the stroller it self, it’s light & lays back & sturdy.

  47. AntsMOM on June 7th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Very expensive for an umbrella stroller and not worth the money. The basket is way too small and very difficult to access. The sun shade barely covers anything. Also states you can use stroller 3 months + not a good idea for little babies doesn’t seem safe even with the seat reclined. Also had the clicking problem with the wheel. Overall very diappointed with the product for the price- returned it to store.

  48. TopAgentAli on June 8th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I would not recommend this stroller when there are other better values available. We had it for a few weeks and returned it because the clicking noise was awful, the brakes were very hard to work and we found another similar stroller for a lot less $. It was purchased to replace a damaged Maclaren Techno.

  49. mom of 3 on June 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

i looove this stroller the best very light easy to use i use it everyday is great i been using it since my baby boy jakob was 3mo now he is almost 7mo and love it the only complaint i have is the sun canopy not to much far out it wont cover my baby but still love it

  50. Busy with little one on July 8th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This has been a great stroller. We bought for a trip and it has worked beautifully. The canopy doesn’t offer much shade but we bought an attachable umbrella and it helped out. In terms of convenience and ease of use it’s been great. So easy to open and close and so far no problems. I love it so much it’s become my everyday use stroller.

  51. found the perfect stroller! on July 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

after having wasted money on three other less expensive strollers, i finally made the decision to spend the money and buy a Mclaren. i had always heard that Mclarens are good strollers, but just couldn’t get my self to spend over [$] on a stroller. after having gone through three “less than $100” strollers and hating them all, i put my foot down and told dear husband i am going to spend the money and do it right this time. i had read most of the reviews and hoped and hoped and hoped that mine wouldn’t ahve the “clicking” noise that a handful of costomers were complaining about. […] no clicking sound. steering was perfect, (with even my older 4 yeard old in it!) so compact and light that i can fold/unfold and get it in/out of my SUV while holding my nine month old. i love everything about it so far. dear husband even says he loves it and dsaid “money well spent!” only cons is that it doesn;t have a cup holder but i plan on getting one of those universal cup holder attachment which should work. the stroller also came with tiny little rip on the seat, but the i like the stroller SO MUCH that it doesn’t bother me too much since the seat will get it’s own wear and tear anyways…bottom line, i should’ve spent the [$] in the first place and this stroller would have been my only buy instead of it being the forth stroller!

  52. New Dad on July 19th, 2009 at 12:00 am

It really fulfills all of its promises. It is light (can easily carry with one hand), it CAN be folded in 5 seconds (and unfolded even faster), and it takes so little space. And to top it all, it is a sturdy and solid stroller. After owning other strollers, I say, definitely well worth the money.

  53. A's Mom on July 21st, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is the perfect everyday stroller to take your 6M or older baby on errands and short walks. Best for indoor use like at the grocery store, malls, museums, etc. The stroller is easy to use, easy transport in and out of the car, lightweight (compared to our BOB jogging stroller), compact (fits nicely in our trunk without taking up too much space), and pretty comfortable. The only thing that this stroller lacks is a large sun shield. The sun shield is short such that it doesn’t really protect the little one from the sun at all. When we go for longer outdoor walks we always use our BOB jogging stroller instead. Also, the seat does not fully recline. I think other models may fully recline, but not the Quest.

  54. Ethan's mama on August 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

It’s nearly perfect, but in the picture it looks like the design is plain white. It’s actually gray, white & light blue. It’s still lovely. My 5m old son enjoys it. I love pushing it around too!
