We found it difficult to find a stroller that met our expectations until we found this one. Finally, something we were not embarrassed to have our baby ride in or push ourselves. The leather is buttery soft and matches our car. highly recommended for the parent and child with exceptional taste.

  2. Jenny H on August 6th, 2007 at 12:00 am

This is a good stroller but you can imagine in the summer time, brutal!

  3. momof3 on October 24th, 2007 at 12:00 am

    This product is absolutely horrible.
I thought it was going to be so good, because it is Maclaren. IT IS NOT!
The leather in the winter gets sooo cold, i have to warm it up before my child can sit in it.
And in the summer, its so hott my baby doesnt stop sweating.
This stroller is so impractical, i would never buy it again.
i do not recommend it to anyone

ITS LEATHER! HELLO! Yes its gonna get cold and hot! and for the price people should wake up a little bit!

  5. Momof3 on October 30th, 2007 at 12:00 am

This stroller is more for those parents out there that want to show everyone they have [$] to buy an umbrella stroller. We were given this stroller as a gift and returned it! If you’re embarrassed about pushing your child in any other stroller, that’s sad. This stroller is sad. There are several other strollers out there that are worth your money-this isn’t one of them. We now have the Combi and LOVE IT!

Hate it! Hard to push and hate the leather! It gets hot! WHAT A BAD IDEA!

  7. momma on January 9th, 2008 at 12:00 am

    WHY????
I got this as a gift… I laughed so hard when I opened it because it made no sence to me. Leather and babies… HELLO leather yes its nice but its leather and babies the two should not be combined Babies are messy and leather is hard to clean

  8. Frustrated mom! on January 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This might me the worst stroller you can get for this much money. When its winter my baby freezes and when its summer my baby gets so hot, poor thing doesn’t stop sweating. Luxurious? Not so much. I didn’t buy this, my mother-in-law did. She has this philosophy “the more expensive the better” I felt ridiculous pushing my son in this, everybody would stop and stare. There is no need for that. I returned this and got a good old Bugaboo for less. Not Recommended!!!

  9. The practical, everyday family on February 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We got this as a gift and just stared at the box. All it was missing was 12″ chrome rims. It would be great to use if all our friends were millionaires. We opened the box for a quick trip around the livingroom then it went straight back to the store. I could just imagine the stares and pointing in public. How embarrassing.

  10. Allison the nanny on April 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Well, for starters this product was used by the couple that I nanny for, they believed that it was perfect for someone with class, and royalty, persay. The build of this stroller is like a [$] umbrella stroller, honestly I expected more from a Maclarren. It is not practical for children, and is sweaty and sticky in the summer, and no extra coverage for the winter. Overall, I would not recommend this to a friend, or fellow parent. You must be truly above yourself to sport your child around in something that is not of comfort to them. If you must have this its best use id for toddlers, and best for quick trips.

ive never had my daughter turn to me and say, “mommy this stroller simply wont do, for i MUST have leather seats, if i dont ill just die!” i mean like everyone else says… leather and babies dont mix. for me i think it would be far more embarassing to have a baby wailing because shes so uncomfortable it hurts. even if you have the dough for something fancy, this shouldnt be the fancy you pick.no cup holders, and a basket only big enough for a book?! no way. with something this extravagant, should you really have to shell out extra for a clip on cup holder and an organizer? think before you buy..

  12. Trent the Class Act on June 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

We received this product as a gift, as many have, and have found the idea that having anything leather for a baby-toddler is ridiculous. The temperature issue is a given, clean up and maintenance requires a nanny, and indeed you receive gawks when walking in the mall. I am sure that anyone who can afford this has already bought several umbrella strollers for each car and vacation home already, and this one can be left on the shelf. There are much nicer European models available and you should probably choose one of those, with much better quality, features, and non-leather accessories!

  13. Keira's mommy on July 16th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller is a true embarrassment to any self respecting parent. We received this as a gift (and are grateful for the thought), and promptly returned it. It is inappropriate for a child or infant of any age. The leather is uncomfortable and difficult to maintain and is not usable in hot weather. Why Maclaren would design such a stroller is beyond me. The brand is overpriced and this stroller is nothing but a typical umbrella stroller and similarly constructed. Honestly I was happier returning it and I actually found the Wendy Bellisimo umbrella stroller in-store much better for around ninety-nine dollars. It was half the cost of the “base model” MacClaren of the same pink/brown design and just as nice if not better. I’m all for paying for quality, but I’ll not make a fool of myself just for a brand.

Every time I used this ridiculous stroller my son was just drenched with sweat! Poor little guy!

  15. Yasmine on September 8th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I just love this stroller. My baby doesn’t seem to mind it – he sweats all the time anyway. It’s so soft and beautiful. I just wish it came in purple to match my husband’s best suit. You won’t be disappointed!

  16. Orange County Housewife on December 10th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This is like the best stroller EVER! Totally matches the seats in our car and my favorite boots. All of my friends are like…. wow…that’s a REALY nice stroller. And I’m like…. yeah, I know!

    I would TOTALLY recommend.

  17. mom who cares about her child on December 20th, 2008 at 12:00 am

we got it as a gift and exchanged it for the Techno XLR. It is extremely unpractical and I can’t even imagine using it in the summer. But if all you care about is how it goes with your boots, then go ahead buy it. I feel sorry for your child.

  18. MOMMY OF 4 on April 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

THANK GOD I GOT THIS AS A GIFT THAT SAID I COULD RETURN IT IF PARENTS ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT MATCHING THERE CARS AND LOOKING GOOD WHILE OUT IN PUBLIC THEY ARE CRAZY I TOOK IT BACK AND GOT ONE OF THOSE CHEAP $300-$400 DOLLAR ONES AND MY NEWBORN ALL THE WAY UP TO 3 YR LOVED IT. FOR YOUR CHILDS HEALTH WEIGHT LOSE IN SUMMER AND FREZZING IN WINTER YOU SHOULD NOT GET THIS.

  19. Danielle on May 21st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I received this stroller as a gift. My friend who has no children purchased it for me. Of course I thanked her for spending a pretty penny on a gift but I exchanged it for a different Maclaren. My daughter was over heating in this stupid stroller. I don’t care if my daughters stroller matches “my boots” or “my husbands best suit” what I care about is my daughter and her being comfortable!!! I read some of the reviews and I had to laugh. Its absolutely pathetic / ridiculous how selfish some people can be. Too concerned about how they look. Get over yourself!! A GOOD PARENT IS CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR CHILD. I had to exchange this stroller… it was horrible. I love Maclaren, just not this one!
