This stroller is great, not only for a newborn as a buggy but as my son gets older. We travel with this back and forth and find it just fantastic and holds up beautifully. Love the different patterns as well.

I borough this stroller 4 my 5 months old.He loves it and me 2.Its so easy to use.All u need its 1 hand,so light and it comes with lots of things that u dont have to buy separatly(that if you had to buy separated will b a lot of money)like the travel bag(its huge, you could carry the whole stroller inside it with all the accesories and whatever you need, the liners are so comfortable and nice, the blanket, footmuff rai cover. Its just perfect 4 me.The only thing I dont like is that its a little hard 2 fold when it has the footmuff or the liners.Becides that its just wonderful.

This is a BEAUTIFUL stroller, especially if your are into changing looks, but before you buy this stroller make sure your child is a least 6 months old. I purchased this stroller for my newborn and it does not recline like the features says. It only reclines 2 and a half position, which is not safe for a newborn. Very disappointed but just wanted to give other buyers a heads up!!!!

After testing at least 20 different strollers in the store, I decided to splurge on this stroller because of its light weight and the ability to change the look according to the season. Is this a necessity? Not by any means, but it sure makes it fun to have 8 different looks in one stroller! I love the fact that this stroller isn’t the typical cutesty pink or boring black that you see everywhere around you. Even though the tan is a bit more delicate than other colors (if mud splashes on it, for example, you’ll see the dirt on this color) you can easily clean it since the fabrics can be removed from the frame. I have also machine washed one of the liners after a blowout at the mall and I’m happy to say that it withstood the washer and looked as good as new.

Benefits: This stroller is very light weight (under 15 lbs) and has a compact fold. I am a petite person who has trouble lifting anything heavy and I’ve had no problems hiking this in & out of the car for back-to-back errands. You can easily hold your baby, fold this down, and pick it up by its carry handle to load in the car. The other main advantage of this buggy is that it turns on a dime! I can easily manuever through crowded stores and in between hanging racks with no problems. The ride is smooth and my daughter often falls asleep while riding in it.

Extras: Stroller comes with 3 reversible seat liners (spring: 1)spring flowers & 2)periwinkle blue, summer: 1)navy & white stripes & 2)blue chambray, autumn: 1)autumn leaves & 2)autumn orange. For winter you get a beautiful fleece seat liner plus a footmuff. You also get a raincover, a gorgeous reversible fleece blanket (with stroller clips so it doesn’t blow off the stroller), and a carry bag to keep everything in or to use when traveling. (check out the maclarenbaby website for photos)

Comfort: My 6-month old sits comfortably in the stroller and can prop her feet up on the extendable foot rest (other strollers do not have this feature, which is nice for infants so their feet are supported). Since the basket is pretty much useless (I only keep the raincover in there) as is the case with many umbrella strollers, I clip the Skip Hop diaper bag on to the handles and store everything there. I also tend to hang shopping bags off the handles and even though my daughter only weighs 12 lbs it hasn’t ever looked like it would tip over.

Downsides: The only downside to this stroller is that it doesn’t recline completely flat, which you would need for a newborn. I’m not sure why Maclaren says that this stroller could be used by a newborn because the most it reclines is about 45 degrees. It’s also kind of hard to recline your child while they’re in the stroller since you have to use two hands and push up on the reclining bars. However, I am happy to accept this limitation for how incredibly well-made & easy to use this stroller is. Given its sturdy frame, washable fabrics, and larger seating area, I’m sure this stroller will outlast our baby/todder/pre-school years and be ready for the next child to come!

I already have a Volo umbrella stroller and love it!!! I am in need of a new stroller with a third baby on the way, so I thought I would try this out since both babies r us and the manufacturer said it was suitable for newborn use.

The stroller is beautiful and definitely up to Maclaren standards. I loved all of the great extras that came with it and it is gender nuetral; however, it is NOT for newborns. Imagine my disappointment when I found out the seat does not recline 100%. (I don’t know if I would feel comfortable putting a child under 4/5 months old in it.)

Maclaren does make a stroller suitible for newborns that I have since tried, so I don’t understand why they feel the need to advertise this one for newborns when it obviously is not designed that way.

I give it 5 stars for construction and ease of use, but 0 stars for newborn suitability.

Great, great stroller. I haven’t used it yet, but everyone I know who have kids say the Maclaren is the best. When I saw this one, I just fell in love with it. It’s even cuter in person. All of the extras that come with this model are awesome! I practiced closing and opening and it’s so easy. Can’t wait to use it when baby arrives–Please note this is not intended for newborns!
