I LOVE THIS STROLLER. IT’S PERFECT. IT MOVES LIKE A DREAM. I HAVE NO STRUGGLES WITH GOING THRU STORES, AIRPORTS, JOGGING-ANYTHING. IT MOVES SO EASY & TURNES SO SMOOTH. WITH OTHER STROLLER YOU CANNOT TURN WITHOUT HAVING TO LIFT OR TURN WIDE. THIS STROLLER IS PERFECT. GREAT UNDER STORAGE. COMES WITH DRIVING TOY. PERFECT FOR BIGGER BABIES & TODDLERS & KIDS!!! PERFECT FOR TRAVEL. FOLDS UP SUPER EASY, I CAN DO IT WITH BABY IN HAND.

  2. Sam the busy dad on March 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love how easy it was to put together. I like the fact that the front tray can come off so it’s easier to put my son in and also for storage. Love the color and the weight isn’t that bad either. We’ll see how it holds up in the next months to come.

  3. goaway babyfat on March 31st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I liked it at the store. Once we got home It was very easy to put together. It’s so easy to move around.I have a 7 month old and he’s about 24 lbs and he sits up on his own very well So, my con’s about it are that the stap that goes in between the legs to hold my baby in, is thin and it was slipping off to one side witch was causing him to slid forward and out of the stoller and there is no way to adjust it. I like the suspention on the rear wheels but when you turn the stroller it’s so week and the stroller tilts so far over that my baby rolls around and practially falls out of the stroller. Unless I have him laying down then he’s ok but that Defeats Purpose of getting this stroller. So therefore I can’t use this as a running stroller. If they mad it safer as far as keeping my baby from flopping around it would be perfect..I am deffinetly going to return it for a much safer one.

I honestly can’t feel that I can give this a good review b/c as soon as we took it out of the box we realized it wasn’t the stroller for us. The wheels aren’t air-filled, they are plastic stroller wheels (they look like traditional air-filled jogging stroller wheels, but they aren’t.) I wanted better wheels. It’s unfortunate b/c I felt that this stroller rode well in the store compared to the other jogging strollers. I would love to try the Jeep that is a step up […]

  5. Michelle on April 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

You can not go in a straight line with this stroller. I can not imagine what would happen if you actually tried jogging while pushing it. It is extremely hard to maneuver. Day 1 and the fold up mechanism is already broken. Also it is very bulky. Stay away!

  6. Jenn on April 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The rear tire broke twice so far on me, It does not fold up easy, it is extremely bulky, and the seat is too far back for her to reach the front cup holder

  7. Mommy of 2 on April 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Go to the Kolcraft sites and check it out for yourself. Only the Jeep OVERLAND is a jogging stroller. The LIBERTY specifically says in the PRODUCT SPECS that it is NOT MEANT FOR USE AS A JOGGER. All aspects of this STROLLER are great! If you want a JOGGER, get the OVERLAND, not the LIBERTY[@]Specifications: • JPMA Certified• Requires 6 ‘AA’ batteries (not included)• Weight: 30 lbs• 40 lbs. maximum child weight• Fold: 20 x 25.25 x 34.5• This is not intended to be used as a jogging stroller!• Only use this product in recline position until child can sit up unassisted

  8. Momto3inBama on April 19th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have had this stroller since 2002 and it is still going strong. It is comfortable to use and has all the features I needed. It is a bit large but worth it. If you have a small trunk then look elsewhere. I LOVE it!

  9. T's mom on April 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is great! We don’t have sidewalks around my house and the streets can be a little bumpy… this stroller does a wonderful job. The stroller that came with the travel system is too rigid and cannot handle the bumps. This one is easy to maneuver and even jog with. The only thing is if you are jogging with it the front wheel will shake at times. As with the other reviewers it is bulky.. but the big wheels make a better ride – so its worth it.

  10. Dani mom of 3 on April 29th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We bought this stroller for our 2 yr old. We have had it for approx. 2 yrs and intend on using it for our 3 month old as well. I love this stroller. It maneuvers well. We have had many many strollers and we really like this one, I particularly like the swivel front wheel and many cup holders. The only downfall for us is that it’s bulky, I could not imagine having it with an economy car. It’s perfect with our SUV.

  11. Mom that loves to walk on April 30th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is very unsturdy and actually tipped over onto my 11 month old child while he was strapped into it. If your child leans to one side, you need to really balance the back weight or else it will tip. I never imagined that a stroller could tip over, but this Jeep stroller did. It will be going back to the store and I will use my 4 wheeled strollers from now on! Do not buy this product!

  12. SoPhiE's MuM on May 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

Yeah, I’mma return this. It tilts to the left while walking (can’t imagine how bad running might be). My wrist hurts from keeping pressure so it stays straight. UGH… Now I have to try and figure out which stroller is better… BOB here I come… so much for saving money…

  13. Becky on May 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I really love this stroller. I bought it for my 4 year old son who is 36 pounds. The weight limit is 50 lbs. I needed something for power walking or light jogging around our neighborhood. So far so good, as it handles well and lets me get my workout in. I have had no problems with it tipping. It folds easily and my son loves it. It is a really great stroller for the money!

  14. out door mom on May 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I really love this stroller. I tell everyone I know about it. It rolls over all different types of surfaces, even gravel.I feel like I can go anywhere and do anything with my stroller. The three wheels makes it so easy to manuver. My little boy has been using it since he was two months old. I like how it reclines all the way back. I just wish I would have had this stroller for my first child. My stroller is a year old and it is still rolling GREAT! It rolls in a straight line and it has NEVER tipped over. My friend has one and she put heavy products on top of her stroller and bent the wheel, Now it rides rough, so dont put anything heavy on it. And now that my little boy is 1, he loves to pretend like he is driving along. The only thing is I don’t run with this stroller, a stroller that has tires with air would be better for running.

  15. Sophie's Mum on May 7th, 2009 at 12:00 am

UGH… I decided to give this stroller a 2nd chance, so instead of returning it for tilting to the left… I exchanged it. The new one doesn’t tilt, but it squeaks with power walking. OMG!! I’m returning it…

  16. MoM of 3 on May 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have been using this stroller for my infant who is almost 3 months old. So far I love it! Goes over rough surfaces very easily and smooth. It is very easy to assemble. We bought it and my husband put it together in the parking lot it took about 5 minutes. I have a small vehicle and it fits great in my small trunk. The only thing that bothers me so far with this item is that I don’t think there’s a way to take off the seat fabric for washing.

  17. mommy of many on May 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

LOVE IT…. LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!!! We use this stroller at least once a day everyday for over a year and we LOVE it!!! Have never had any tipping problems…. even with a 50lbs kid in there and not with the child that’s 25lbs.

  18. Jaydensmommy on May 17th, 2009 at 12:00 am

So i have gone through sooo many strollers i loved my graco stroller but my son is 3 now and its hard for me to push him in it so i got a maclaren…he doesnt fit in it anymore so when i saw this at the store i loved how easy it was push him till i brought it home. The tires deflate very easily the way it folds makes it impossible to lift up into your car and barely fits in the trunk its very wobbly and my sons head hits the radio part. over all im sick of dealing with this stroller im selling it at a yard sale.

  19. Mom of 2 little monkeys on May 19th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I can’t believe that someone would give this stroller a bad rating!! It is the best stroller ever!!! It is SOOOOOO smooth. You can stear it with one hand…..(Actually one finger and your thumb!) I have NEVER had tipping issues like mentioned in other ratings. My child is almost 2 and has never been unsafe in this stroller. I recommend it 100%!!!

  20. mdg on May 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller has been a dream for tooling around the neighborhood’s bumpy sidewalks. The ride is so much better than with a traditional stroller. We just keep it in the garage ready to go. We currently use it with our Graco Snugride carseat strapped in. The only downside is the bulk. It barely fits in my VW Passat trunk and can be difficult to use in tight spaces. We just keep the snap n go stroller frame (and eventually an umbrellas stroller) in the car for easy in and out of the trunk and for easier navigation in malls etc. For bumpy neighborhoods or taking off road, this stroller is a god send.

  21. Tommys Mom on May 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have been using this stroller for 4 years now. We live downtown and do not drive a car so this stroller has been used to haul groceries and everything you can imagine plus my little boy. It finally just now broke. I put this stroller through HECK! It went Jogging and shopping at least 3 times a week for 4 years now and a metal spring just broke today. The wheels did squeak a bit after a while but a little shot of wd-40 fixed that. The tires held up beautifully. And it has been so easy to clean. My son has spilled everything you can imagine and it wipes right off.

  22. B, the new mom on May 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We live in an area with old, cracked sidewalks, and sometimes no sidewalks at all, so the rubber tires were a selling point for us. It handles the rough terrain well. We also like that our car seat fits on it perfectly (and even matches). It’s fun to push around. The stroller is quite large, but turning is much easier that I thought it would be, and setting it up is easy too. Make sure it fits in your vehicle.

  23. mommabear09 on May 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is the first time i have ever tried this product and i think it is excellent choice for parents.I recommend it to every one and to those who go out to exercise with their children.

  24. BusyMom on May 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is a terrible stroller! It is difficult to maneauver since the front wheel will not turn. It does not fit into a trunk without taking off the front wheel and is big and bulky to store! Took it to the zoo once and it was hard to get through all the people since it is so bulky! Not recommended for mall shopping or lesisure walks!

  25. JC - Outdoor, Rodeo, T-ball, Soccer Mom on May 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have had the Jeep Liberty stroller now for 5 years, It has gone through my first son and now on my second. I can take it anywhere and the fact it can go over any terrain with ease IS great. It steers great and still looks and works perfect like the day I got it. My little dog loves to ride in the basket underneath the seat and I still have room for a big bag and still holds up great. I always get compliments on it. I got an umbrella stroller for fast little trips but I have never used it,I just can’t beat the effectiveness of the Jeep Liberty-Urban-stroller. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! I would buy another one in a heart beat, but the one I have just holds up and hasn’t let me down.

  26. steph on June 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

So smooth! It rides really easily over rougher terrain. I love the MP3 hook-up too. It doesn’t really fit well in the trunk of my car though, it takes some maneuvering to get it in and out, but other than that it’s a great buy!

  27. mrsfitz on June 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We just purchased this stroller and have been very pleased. We do a lot of walking on city streets and it was wearing on our regular stroller that came with our travel set. We decided to purchase this mainly for our exercise times and going to the zoo, etc. It folds as compactly as our travel system did and our little one loves it. We actually have the model with the ipod speakers too which is a fun feature.
It has a great look, folds easily, isn’t terribly heavy and is easy to manuever. No complaints!
OH! And my favorite part! The bottom basket extends forward so when my errant toddler feels the need to throw her cup down, it catches it and it rolls into the basket, rather than on the ground!! Love the storage!

  28. LL, new mom on June 11th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We live in an area with dirt roads and hiking paths, so your typical “mall stroller” wouldn’t work for us. However, I didn’t want to spend $300-500 for a “jog stroller” either. This one is PERFECT! No frills. It opens with one hand and locks open for safety. There is a foot brake to avoid roll-aways. The front wheel can lock straight for speed-walking outside or unlock to swivel around displays in the tightest of stores. It really can easily be pushed and turned with only one hand! The turning radius is AMAZING! It has shock springs and the wheels are rubber for a smooth-gliding ride without worry of flats or air pressure maintenance. As our baby is only 3mo., we opted not to put the tray and toy “steering wheel” on at this time. We really couldn’t be happier- my husband and I actually compete for who gets to push! It should be noted that the safety instructions do specify that this model is not meant for athletic activity (aka running), or infant carseats. If that is what you want, for about $40 more, check the next model up, which has ipod speakers too!

  29. stay at home mom on June 15th, 2009 at 12:00 am

My daughter loves to sit in this stroller and loves to play with the toy wheel. After putting it together, the front wheeled pulled really hard to the right (it was bent) but we didnt notice until after we tossed the box. I called the service number and was sent a replacement front wheel, but was also instructed that I should not run with it because it was not a jogging stroller…to my shock. I looked thru the booklet, and in fine print jargin it states to not run with this stroller. Why make a stroller that looks like a jogger, but isnt?! Silly me for not specially looking for the words jogging stroller in the name. Lesson learned…

  30. Active Mommy in CA on June 17th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this stroller for my son since the stroller we had that came with his travel system wasn’t cutting it for our long walks. This stroller is AMAZING over any terrain: dirt, gravel, high curbs, uneven sidewalks, smooth ground, etc. I love the huge storage basket, deep cup holders for my coffee & water, the ipod dock is big enough for a wallet & keys, the air pump that comes with the stroller and the cargo pockets on the sides and in the basket down low. It isn’t the smallest stroller & doesn’t fold down like an umbrella does, but really, who goes out and buys a jogger style stroller expecting it not to be bulky? It turns on a dime & my son gets upset when its time to come out even after he’s been in for an hour or so. I would tell any active mom to get this! Another plus is the huge canopy, it’s great shade for the summer & I felt he was cocooned in it on colder winter days. Jeep got this one right!

  31. MOM IN PHYSICAL TRAINING on June 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

LIKES: LIGHT,EASY TO HANDLE,RUBBER WHEELS,BIG BASKET,COMFORTABLE SEATING.DISLIKE:SIMPLE STRING USED TO PULL BACK UP,PULLS TO THE SIDE AND CAN’T JOG WITH IT. TOO BAD!!

  32. Silly Mom on June 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Easy to maneuver, quick fold/ unfold, easy rear wheel locks, large storage basket, quick & easy construction (screwdriver needed), clear instruction manual.
Rides smooth as silk, turns on a dime. This is not a jogging stroller, but for walking over the grass in the park, walking down a dirt/ pebbley road, this is a great buy. My child is 1 and is of average weight, and she has plenty of room.
Only con I can see is the child cup tray is a little too far away. She can reach it, but she really has to stretch.
Can’t comment on how this would be for a teeny baby, but for older babies (who can sit up well on their own) and toddlers, you should really give this a try.

  33. Mama Sibs on June 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Worst stroller I have ever owned. I never comment on things on-line, but I would hate for another mother to waste their time on this thing. 1 day after I received this a s a gift I took my 2 year old daughter out for a walk and everything seemed great. The next day the horn on her steering wheel didn’t work. No big deal, but a bit disappointing. Then, that day I decided to go for a jog with my new stroller and after an hour or more of jogging with this thing, I think I sprained my wrist from trying to keep it straight on the road. It pulls horribly to the right. So now I am super angry and fed up, I decided to give it one more shot and told my self it was probably the surface I was running on (a side walk), so I go out again and this time in the middle of my jog the break falls down and stops me dead in my tracks with an abrupt punch to the gut from the handle bar. WHAT THE HECK!!!! Now the break won’t even stay up for more than a minute or 2 at a time and I am returning this thing. Don’t waist your time ladies buy something else. I hate to spend more money, but if it means my stroller will function properly and not try to take me out during a jog then it’s worth it. Good Luck!!

  34. new mimi on June 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

putting the stroller was quite the adventure..the rear wheels assembly would not go together…grandpa and uncle (who happen to be a designer and a sr.techican) had to saw off parts and shorten the axle in order to be able to put the rear tires on…it took about an hour and a half to get the back assembly to work…it was a long and not an easy job..but once remanufacuacted the stroller worked great..don’t think many people would be able to assemble this…

  35. Mom of Two on June 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is a great stroller! We got it 2 years ago when my son was born, and are still using it. It is not a jogging stroller – it says that right on the box. I’ve used it as one anyway and it works just fine. Of course it’s not going to ride like a jogger, because it’s not one. It handles great on any terrain. We’ve taken it over grass, dirt, rocks, roads and it rides beautifully.

It’s easy to clean and not too heavy. We have an SUV and it fits fine in there. I’m not sure how it fits in a car. It folds and unfolds easily. It turns on a dime and pushes so easily. We always keep the front wheel on swivel. We’ve never had any problems with it. Just remember that it’s not a jogger…but I’m a slow runner so it works for me just fine. If I had to buy it again, I’d do it in a heartbeat!

  36. adrianna the walkin mom on June 30th, 2009 at 12:00 am

i walk with this stroller the front wheel acts up and also i have more problems puting this into my trunk of my car than i have with any other stroller.

  37. JoMama on July 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

For all of those that say it pulls to one side. You do not have the proper amount of air in the tires! I love this stroller. I will not walk out doors with any other stroller because I am spoiled by our Jeep!
I also love that the toys that my little one drops fall into the basket on the bottom. The last thing I want to do is stop and pick up toys while jogging.
The only thing is I want to bring it everywhere with me and this stroller takes up a lot of room in the car. I am buying roof racks for over night trips so I do not need to go with out it.

  38. AmyLynn on July 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Obviously this is not a jogging stroller – the wheels are a hard foam….would be torn up by asphalt/cement QUICK. For $40 more, we got the next model up – which has a swivel front wheel or you can lock it as a stationary front wheel (safer for jogging). You get the Ibaby for your Ipod, straps that hold in the carrier, and RUBBER WHEELS that will be able to withstand jogging/walking on streets and sidewalks! Liked the colors of this one more, but have to have the rubber wheels. Also the most expensive Jeep model has a front wheel that doesn’t give the option to swivel….the middle model makes the most sense if you want to job/walk on streets, etc and possibly use it at the mall too, etc,

  39. NSK on July 17th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We wanted a stroller that was easier to maneuver than a travel system stroller, but not a jogger, so this was perfect. We specifically got this stroller because the wheels are sturdy, but not rubber wheels that need to be inflated…we know too many people who end up never using their stroller because the tires are always flat…that will never be a problem with this stroller! It took me 10 minutes to put together with just a screwdriver. This model doesn’t have the handy basket under the footrest that I imagine would be helpful for dropped items, but our baby is only 5 months old, so not an issue yet…it turns very easily with one hand. The shocks are great and moves like a dream over any terrain. IT IS NOT A JOGGING STROLLER AND NOT MEANT TO BE USED AS ONE!!! If you want a jogging stroller, get one. We use this stroller to walk around the park, go to the zoo, move on gravel, dirt, and bumpy roads, with no issues. We have a PT cruiser and it fits in the trunk with no issues. Not much room for anything else, though. Wish the cup holders were a little bigger, but they are deep. Only had one cup not fit so far. My husband is tall and found walking with our travel system stroller to be uncomfortable. He loves this stroller because the handlebar is high enough for him. We get lots of compliments on it. We are VERY pleased with it for the price. Any other strollers we found that even come close are much more expensive.

  40. Jeep Stroller on July 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

    fabulous for the Jeep Family!

  41. Carter's Nana on July 29th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Haven’t actually used it yet. The baby isn’t due for a few more weeks. But it is so easy to fold and rolls anywhere you want it to go. It will be great for those long walks to shed a few baby pounds and for Carter to see the country.

  42. Shannon on August 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller was easy as cake to assemble, I had it done in 15 minutes. Its sturdy, the baby sleeps like a prince it rides so smooth, it works well in rocks and bumpy walks unlike the full size strollers. The front wheel CAN be locked so it doesn’t swivel and stays straight. Easy to wash fabric, nice wheels that don’t deflate… everything is more than perfect!! Very satisfied customer! I’ve had the Chicco and Graco full size strollers and they don’t even compare to the JEEP stroller, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

  43. First time Mom on August 5th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is so easy to use! I can open and pack up this stroller with one hand! It is pretty light weight also. It handles all types of surfaces with no problem. My husband and I had to laugh that our decently priced stroller out performed our friends $300 stroller easily! Our Graco infant car seat fits into this stroller with absolutly no problem. The storage compartments are awesome. As a first time Mom I did not think to even consider storage as a feature I would be interested in, so I lucked out because this stroller can carry a lot! All in all so in love with this stroller, easily the best baby product we bought!

  44. CRYSTAL on August 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We got this stroller as a gift for my son and it keeps collasping on him when we put him in it. we have called the ompany numerous times and they say theres nothing they can do. he has hurt his arm and back as a result of this. All the company did was had us email them pictures of the stroller and said that one bar was bent that they could tell and sent a new bar well that didnt help and i called back to be told they were not going to replace it. that we could go buy a new one. for the money spent and for my child getting hurt they should have done something.

  45. handful child on August 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

After my husband had his car accident, it totaled my daughter’s Evenflo stroller. I bought this to replace it. Something different and my husband loves Jeep brands. We love it!!! I could use this at anywhere, such as in the Mall, at the trails, fields and almost everywhere else. Because our daughter is super-spill, the fabrics are so easy to clean. The size to fit in vehicle, I would recommend this for minivan, or suv or something bigger than that. The front wheel are hard to squeeze in for small cars.

  46. buddyro on August 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller was fine at first when I was content using it with the infant carrier. However, now that my son is bigger it is a pain.He slides out, flips himslf over, scoots down and kicks the basket, and is frustrated because the toy bar is so far away. We have a maclauren and it is much better overall. I hope the jeep will work when he is like three or four, because nobody we know wants to buy it off of us and the consignment shops are always full of them. This stroller was a gift and it came highly reccomended, but it has not been a good match and is a big dissapointment.
