I received this stroller as a baby shower gift when my son was born. We were not able to use it until he was a bit older (around 6 mos), but I was not planning on using an umbrella style stroller until that time anyway. This stroller has been fantastic. It is a very smooth ride, the hood moves forward and back to keep the sun out of my sons eyes, the basket on the bottom is large enough for a smaller diaper bag and other incidentals. It is VERY lightweight, and easy to set up and fold up. I do not have any complaints about the stroller. My son is very comfortable in it, and has even fallen asleep in it (at 2 years old, which I can’t even get him to do in his carseat!) We now have baby number 2 on the way, and I have purchased the twin style stroller (that has the reclining seats for newborns).

We purchased this stroller for our 6 month old. She was a small 6 month old, and is still small at 10 months. She weighs about 20 lbs. But this stroller is not made for her size. The straps, even though they are adjustable, they do not go down far enough to keep her in good. I have had to rig up the straps in the back to keep them tight enough to keep her secure. The other thing that I don’t like is that when the stroller is folded, the wheels rub against the hood, and make it dirty. I have decided just to remove the hood because I was embarrassed. It was not washable either. But the stroller itself is a smooth nice ride. It is the perfect size and weight. I love to take it shopping. Not good on the road though. I use the jogging stroller for outside. I am currently on here looking for a new lightweight stroller.

Overall I think the stroller is a great lightweight stroller and it looks so chic! Our daughter is 9 months old and weighs about 19 lbs…we had similar problems with getting the harness tight enough. To solve the problem we have threaded the harness through the top opening (in reverse direction)then through the lowest opening (in the correct direction). Using this method we were able to “use up” the excess harness material providing my daughter with a safe, snug fit. We did not have any problems with the lap belt. The ride is smooth. The stroller is incredibly easy to open and close and is so light!! This stroller can be used up to 60 lbs too. There is a lifetime guarantee on this Maclaren stroller…so how can you go wrong??

This product is one of my favorite baby products. I buy one for all my expecting friends. Quality product and worth investing in rather than the cheaper umbrella verison. It’s easy to fold up and my daughter loves the ride. We bought the accessory pouch which provides a cup holder and place to put your personal items. The basket under the seat is roomy but its not as large as a full sized stroller. Should be used when the baby is about 6-9 months old but my 4 year old newphew still rides in his stroller with no issues. If your a shopping fiend becareful not to overload it with shopping bags. (especially if your toddler likes to get in and out. Its lightweight so it does tip over with out the weight of the baby in it.) Lighter colors are also harder to clean if you get dirty.

We needed a stroller for our 4 year old when we went on day trips that involved lots of walking. I first tried an inexpensive umbrella stroller, but became frustrated as it was hard to steer, and the handles were too low for me, causing me to hunch over when pushing it (I’m 5’8). The Maclaren Volo is great. My daughter loves it. It is easy to steer, and the handles are nice and high for taller people like me and my husband (6’3). The basket is small, but is big enough to hold a bottle of water, hat, snacks, and other small items. The only thing it lacks is a cup holder! Overall, a great buy if you need a stroller for an older child.

I love this stroller- Super lightweight- Easy to open/close- Comfortable for my daughter- Big enough basket for quick trips. However, when you fold the stroller, the wheels hit the inside of the canopy- leaving it dirty. I guess some peope immediately clean it, but how many moms/dads have that time? Love the stroller- just get a different hood color!
