MACLAREN TRIUMPH STROLLER IN BLACK/RASBERRY IS A FABULOUS COLOR FOR A BABY GIRL. ITS LIGHT WEIGHT
AND EAST TO MOVE. THE ONLY THING IS THAT THE BASKET IS SMALL AND HARD TO GET TOO. I’M USING IT FOR MY 11 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER AND SHE LOVES IT. SHE HAS PLENTY OF SPACE AND IS ABLE TO TAKE NAPS IN IT. THIS IS THE 2009 MODEL. I LOVE IT.
WAY TO GO MACLAREN FOR MAKING A BEAUTIFUL COLOR AND DESIGHN ON A STROLLER.

Overall I love this stroller. The colors are great and my daughter loves being in it. The only thing is it doesn’t have a snack tray or cup holder. So I just give her stuff once she is out of the stroller. It is not a biggie for me. But that is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Other then that it rides great and looks great!

I absolutely love this stroller. I’m able to squeeze through the smallest isles in stores, turn corners easily, and above all my daughter loves it! Yes this is an expensive stroller but you get what you pay for and this is definitely one product I would recommend to all.

I bought this stroller to take on a trip to Washington D.C. I wanted something light and easy to take on the Metro there. I am very happy with what I got. It was so light I was able to take it up and down the escalator and it was compact so I didn’t need to fold it up to get on the Metro. It steers easily with one hand and handled every surface (including grass) well! The recline is the best I found on a umbrella stroller and it also sits up very strait. My 9month old daughter was very comfortable and she HATES strollers. When folded it is very compact and easy to carry. I will complain that it is not the easiest to fold and unfold quickly. It also is a lightweight stroller and like all lightweight strollers you can’t put anything on the back or it will tip over. Overall it was a great purchase.

I use public transportation a lot and walk a lot with my 2 yr old. This stroller somehow is locked and we can’t get it unlocked. The side latch is open, but the frame is tightly locked and won’t open. I purchased it 6/08, it is now 4/09. This is the second time this happened, the first time, it opened after several tries. This time no such luck. By the way, the Maclaren Company stated that defects usually present by about three months so this may not be considered a defect. Maclaren requires proof of purchase to have merchandise serviced.

GREAT STROLLER VERY LIGHT EASY TO USE, MAKES MY LIFE EASIER..THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT DOESNT HAVE A CUP HOLDER BUT THEY DO SELL THE MCLAREN CUP HOLDER FOR 25 DOLLARS……

I’m in love with this stroller. It is super light weight, rides very smooth, is so easy to fold and open, and last but not least it is a really stylish color. My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves being in it.

I love it. My daughter fits perfectly and when she sits on it, she’s relaxed and comfortable. The color is perfect too! This is the best stroller/buggy I ever bought!

I always told myself that I wouldn’t be the Mom with the 3 strollers parked in her garage…famous last words…
I’ve used our travel system, and even though I loved the adaptability of using it with the infant seat, the weight of it wore on me after multiple in/outs of the car (and I have a mid-size SUV…can’t imagine what it’s like owning one with a smaller car!).

Of course, the travel system isn’t very good when I walk off-road when taking the dog for a walk, so it was time for a jogging stroller (luckily, I bought that one second-hand!).

Now, it’s time for a trip out West and I really didn’t have the room to lug that travel system with us…soooooooo…time for a lightweight, easily foldable stroller aka stroller #3!

I knew that Maclaren had a good reputation, but truthfully, I wasn’t looking to spend that much (again, this was my THIRD stroller!). But when I got to the store and carefully compared it against some of the cheaper options, there really wasn’t any decision to make-the choice was clear.

I loved the fact that the seat material is fully removable. I have a reflux baby (and if you have one, you know how handy this feature is!), and I know for a fact that I’ll be sending that puppy in the machine often. Also, there are snaps/buttons that allow it to be removed. One of the more inexpensive brands had zippers. I could just imagine how long a zipper might last (not long)!

Needless to say, it folds up teeny tiny, has a carrying handle and is a DREAM to steer. In addition, and most importantly, my girl LOVES being in it. I’m not sure why, as it looks as though it would be less plush than the travel system stroller, but she definitely prefers her Maclaren.

All that being said, it would be nice if the basket was larger, but that can be solved by purchasing the additional mesh storage bag that is easily hung on the handles. I did, and I love that accessory as well.

Also, I would have liked it even better if it reclined a little more. My girl is only 4 months old, and while she can hold her head up fairly well, when she falls asleep it would be even more comfy if it reclined just a tad more. Definitely not a deal breaker though.

Lastly, if they provided a travel/carrying bag with the stroller, that would be great.

I’m a first time Mom and I should have listened to all of those experienced Mom’s that advised me to run straight to this stroller instead of spending the money on the travel system…well…at least I finally learned my lesson albeit the hard, and expensive way!

I use this stroller everywhere I go. Its extremely lightweight and very comfortable for my 8 month old daughter. The only 2 things I would improve would be the basket size…(I always have lots of stuff!) and the shade has no viewing window. Overall this is a great buy.

At first I was a little thrown about paying [$] for what I felt was like an umbrella stroller. But it was worth it. I am 6 months pregnant with my 2nd and can actually take my daughter places again bc it is so light weight. And the wheels are as good a the large ones on our old heavy stroller.

  15. Young active mom of 3 and expecting on May 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a daughter that was turning a year old and I needed something lighter and less complex than the infant-toddler stroller I already owned. I travel frequently on mass transit as I live in manhattan, and crowded streets and small store aisles were just not an option in the other “giant” stroller.I love that it folds so easily with one hand, so I can hold my baby and fold it up-before boarding a crowded bus, i love that i can open it just as easily by just stepping on the pedal in the back. And for having such small wheels-pot holes and run down side walks dont stand a chance, even while steering with one hand and talking on the phone with the other. The only change I would make is maybe a front bar for her snacks and a bigger canopy for those extra sunny-not a cloud in the sky days.

GREAT BEAUTIFUL STROLLER, GLIDES NICE! GREAT AND COMFORTABLE TO PUSH AROUND. MY DAUGHTER LOVES BEING IN THIS STROLLER, ONLY THING IS I ONLY USED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES WALKING TO THE PARK, SO FAR. AND THE WHEELS ARE KINDA GETTING CHEWED UP ALREADY. ITS A CITY STROLLER FOR STORES NOT MEANT TO HANDLE PAVEMENT OR ROUGH ROADS. I LOVE THAT I BOUGHT IT BUT I DONT THINK ITS GOING TO LAST ME OVER 1-2 YEARS.

  17. California mom on June 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought This stroller because of the smooth ride, but my 14 mo daughter was very uncomfortable in the seat which is really short and don’t let her legs rest. This stroller is so “plain”.You don’t get any features.I exchanged for a Maxi-cosi with so many features.Maxi-cosi has reclinable seat.It comes with a rain coat, a cup holder and rides smoothly. The regular price is [$] but I paid [$] only.I recommend you go to the store today and check it out. It’s a new item.

I first had a travel system, Evenflo Oh so Big. I only used it twice and realized it was just too bulky for me. I spent a lot of time looking for a compact stroller and I found it!
I love my new stroller and it’s raspberry color is so vibrant. The wheels roll so smoothly compared to other strollers. I can stroll with one hand and open a door with the other and just glide right through. Set up and stow away in a snap. *One thing, if only the back could recline more.

Super easy to push! Ours has a trick to fold it be works well. We have it in navy blue with red and now with our girl I wish I could justify spending the money on this one with pink. =) Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the price.

My husband and I were going in between getting the chico umbrella stroller and this one. I’m so happy we went with this one b/c it pushes so nicely, folds up great, still has a little storage down below, and my daughter LOVES it! It was a little expensive, but totally worth the money!

  21. SUPER MOM on August 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I DONT KNOW Y I LASTED SO LONG TO BUY THIS STROLLER IT IS GREAT VERY LIGHT VERY STURDY N IT MOVES SOOO EASILY N MY DAUGHTER FITS PERFECTLY IN IT AND IS 4 MONTHS ITS A VERY GOOD ITEM I WOULD RECOMMEND 2 EVERYONE THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THE STORAGE AREA AND THAT IT DONT HAVE A CUP HOLDER BUT THATS NO BIGGIE

  22. slister on August 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got this stroller after the combi one I bought broke within a month of buying. This Maclaren is okay, however it is not the regular high end one. This one is make for Toys r us specifically and is not the same quality. Toys r us does sell, on the web only, the regular Maclarens. And after testing both, it is worth paying the extra $20 dollars and getting the real deal.

i have alot of appointment with my 2 yrs old and i have to take the bus and train with her i just have to close it and strap it on my back while carrying da baby it so good and easy…

  24. mhmdmommy on August 15th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I tested out every Lightweight Stroller Babies R Us and Toys R Us had. This one by far is the best! Its so easy to push and turn around, its simple to close and put away and being 5″9 I love the fact that the handles are so high up. The colors are really nice too. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a cup holder. I’m a coffee drinker, so that is quite a setback for me. You can go on their website and get the universal organizer which has room for 2 bottles, which would hold my daughters sippy cups, but not sure if it would hold my coffee. But all in all, its worth the price and my daughter loves it!
