I bought the Jeep side by side and hated it so I decided to give this one a try. I am so glad that it did, now this one is my favorite between my other stroller. It is light weight and moves well. It can be a little bumpy at times but my sons dont seem to mind. I love that the seats recline in many positions and also have a 5 point harnest. The storage basket are a pretty decent side. I would definitley but this stroller again and again.

  2. Alana and Addalyne's mommy on May 18th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love Chicco so much! When my first daughter, Alana, was born I had a Chicco single stroller with a matching car seat. I was so impressed with that stroller that my husband and I decided on getting a Chicco twin stroller while I was pregnant with my second daughter, Addalyne. The Chicco carrier fits in this stroller perfectly and even better, Alana can keep an eye on her little sis, Addy. It’s small when it is folded up which is a must with all the stuff in the trunk of my SUV.

  3. Stroller crazy... on May 19th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have gone absolutley stroller crazy! I think I made it my mission to find the perfect double stroller. That said this was my 9th attempt at a double. I love it. It holds up really well to alot of weight, steers well. The handles are high enough and padded for comfort. The only problems I have found with this stroller was the recline mechanism is a little hard to do. I have a problem with getting my hands under the seat to do it. Other than that it is a little wider than some side-by-side models, but I was still able to go into the bathroom at the mall, which is a must with a potty training 3 yr old. I recommend this stroller to everyone with little ones. A much better buy than the more expensize Peg Perego Aria twin. I am on to my next stroller now, the baby trend double jogger!

  4. Mia's mommy on May 20th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Inital set up is so easy. It requires no tools. It is very easy to recline the seats without kids in it. It is so easy to fold, but you need both hands. It manuvers really well with the front swivel wheels. I’m looking forward to using it with both my daughters. My two year old loved it. It has roomy comfortable seats and decent canopy. The baskets are decent, can’t access them if seats are reclined and my diaper bag would never fit in it, but a couple of smaller bags would. I’ve spent months researching doubles and really wanted a side-by-side that will fit through doorways, have reclining seats so I can use it with my newborn. And most of all be comfortable for my girls. I also like that being tall my stride doesn’t interfere with pushing the stroller. Didn’t give it 5 stars because I haven’t tried it with two kids.

  5. Mother of Twins on May 31st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I never thought I would ever want a side by side but I decided to give it a try and I am amazed by how satisfied I am my husband even likes it. this stroller is light weight,2 decent storage baskets, but not big enough for my diaper bag. It has 2 extra pockets which I use for my wallet, keys, bottles, ect. and a must the cup holder. It can be alittle hard to take shopping in clothing stores, but fits thru most doors. I Like that my kids can sit next to eachother and play together. The seats fully recline so both babies can sleep which didn’t happen in my tandem stroller. This is great when going outdoors and traveling. I have only mentioned two cons but other than that we just love it!

  6. Darko tata on June 11th, 2008 at 12:00 am

Great product. We have 8 weeks old and 21 month old. Foldable and easy to stroll.

  7. Busy working mom of twins on June 13th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller! I have twins (Boy/Girl) and this works great. I was a little nervous about getting a side by side but I said what the heck and gave it a try, I love it and my husband likes it also. This stroller is very gender nuetral so those of you who have two kids a boy and a girl it would work great.
This stroller is also very lightweight. We used it in the airport and were really impressed. Two carseats do not attach to it but that didn’t bother me as long as the seats reclined for them.
Buy this stroller you will not have regrets.
Also for a double side by side stroller it fits through doorways pretty well.

  8. Mom on the run on June 16th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This stroller goes everywhere with us. It has plenty of storage and is easy to set up and take down. I love that my newborn can lay all the way down. We use the boot on the side with the baby all the time. My toddler loves it b/c it is easy for her to get in and out on her own. It is very comfortable to push. It is very sturdy and made well. It is kind of heavy.

  9. mom of 4 boys on June 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

it was very easy to put together i did it all almost with one hand and the other hand holding onto the stroller i can’t wait to try it out i am going to tell everyone about this stroller

  10. ali on June 27th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I dreaded moving up to a double stroller after my new son was born, so much so that I put it off for 9 months after his birth! I’m, 4’11” and I drive a small suv, so I have to lift it in and out of the car, this stroller is a little heavy, but definately doable, and not bad at all compared to the front and back strollers. the boys (9 mos and three years) love sitting next to each other, it has enough storage, not great but a little basket under each seat for small bags, and a pouch on the back of each seat for things like binky’s,keys, cell phones, cameras(I love those little pouches-so conveinent. It is really nice looking also. My only real complaint is that even when the visors are extended all the way forward and locked they don’t provide much shade, my boys are both really fair skinned. But for trips in and out of stores, the mall, doctors offices, or a quick walk, I love this stroller, very happy with it and would recommend it.

  11. mom of monkeys on July 16th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I bought this stroller for my 32 pound 2 year old and my 3 month old boys, it is fabulous! It turns so easily and it doesn’t feel wierd with two very differently sized children in it. It fits through all the doors at all the local shopping centers and my 2 year old likes that he can hold his baby’s hand while riding. Overall no complaints.

  12. CMS on July 20th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I purchased this stroller in exchange of graco double stroller and i love this stroller, folds very compact leaving lots of space in trunk and not too heavy. only thing i dont like is the canopy its kind of keep coming off from middle but still hold it from sides so not too much of complains. I have 21months and 8months old daughter and they are so comfortable in this stroller, both seats individualy reclines flat, and my older one keep younger sister entertained while they are in the stroller.
I would definately recomend this product to parents who is looking to buy double stroller.

  13. NurseRatchet23 on August 8th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I absolutely love this stroller. It’s my second try at a side to side double (side to side is a must for me) and it’s 100% better than my first. It’s light weight, easy to put in the trunk of my tall SUV, has an open feel for my girls, steers WONDERFULLY (I can steer with one hand if needed), turns so nicely and goes over bumps well. It’s not bulky and I have no trouble going in and out of aisles. I would definately recommend for others. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars (and I am being picky here) is because there is only one cup holder, which I can live without if I have all the other great conveniences. Also, the shade doesn’t cover too much, but I just make sure I put hats on my girls. No biggie. I had the Baby Planet double and it was horrible. This stroller is fabulous!

  14. BusyMomOf2 on August 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I loved this stroller when I got it, and still do except for it’s poor quality. I take very good care of my things, and within 2 weeks of owning this the foam on the handle ripped, a week later one of the buckles wouldnt work, and now after only a month I noticed today that another buckle is broken! Other than the poor quality I have loved it. I’m going to try to take mine back, and I’m really debating on whether or not to get another one becuase I really loved it if it hadnt broke!

  15. Tabi- mom of 2 on August 18th, 2008 at 12:00 am

This has been the best stroller I have ever had. My two little ones are 14 months apart. It is great because when my daughter was a newborn she could recline all the way back and my son was still able to sit up right. It is very easy to switch between positions, so when they fall asleep it takes just a second to lay them back! We take this stroller with us everywhere. It is very lightweight and less bulky than other double strollers. Before purchasing, I did a lot of research and read all reviews on the strollers in my price range and also went to the store to test it. My 1st double was an Eddie Bauer front and back, it was very bulky and did not fit in my vehicle, it weighed 44 pounds. The Chicco only weighs I think 21, so it is way less, it fits right in the back floor of my truck. I love it and recommend it to everyone with 2 small children. Oh and my son is big for his age, he turned 2 a few days ago and weighs 38 pounds and he has plenty of room in the stroller!!! It is super easy to set up and close. It has a cupholder and plenty of storage for shopping. I like the pockets on the back because they are perfect for keys, wallets, phone, etc.

  16. miaumiau on August 22nd, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller. I had peg perega aria twin stroller which was horrible stroller, hard to make a turn, or move after stop. after 5 months we gave up and bought this one, and we all love it!!!!!

  17. Mom to J and E on August 26th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I really love this stroller! We had our hearts originally set on a side by side Baby Trend jogger […] Finally we started looking into other options and checked this one out!! It folds up WAY smaller and easier! It maneuvers easier too! Our main purpose for buying is for our Disney trip coming up in October, but we’ve gotten some great use out of it already! Only cons I’ve found- shades do not cover much of the kids and cup holder bumps into things…especially door frames, because of the width. Minor things!

  18. Busy Mommy on August 27th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I think it’s great hat the babies are sitting next to each other. The stroller has great features. It reclines to sitting and laying positions and the storage baskets are just perfect size. It’s a nice looking stroller. It’s hard to push when getting back on the sidewalk and it’s hard to get through a crowded area. It doesn’t fit some standard doors and if it does it takes a while to get in. IT IS NOT LIGHTWEIGHT TO CARRY!!! IT’S HEAVY!! For anyone looking for a doube stroller I suggest trying it at the store before you buy it.

  19. Mom of 2 Princesses on August 29th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this double stroller!!! It is light weight and easy to push. Fits well through doors, just make sure the wheels are straight. My little one takes great naps while we run errands. VERY EASY to open and close! The baskets could be a bit bigger but it still works great.
The only negative comments I would make is the shades don’t cover too well. But on the plus side you can take the shades off and clip them lower so then there is plenty of shade! And I wish there were trays for snacks.

  20. Mom of four on September 1st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have a 21 month old and a 5 month old that use this stroller. The sun shade is my all time biggest pet peave of this stroller! I have looked and looked for sun shade extenders to no avail. Secondly I get hung up in every single door I try to go in even handicap ones at times. It is heavy. The foam handles are starting to tear. Also when the seat is fully reclined you can not get anything from the basket without disturbing the sleeping child. I also wished I had thought about the fact that my daughter (5 Mos.) would never be able to nap in peace because she is to easy to reach for my son who likes to touch her just because he can. It is advertised with a feet/leg boot for the younger child but mine did’nt come with one nor have I found one. This stroller would work better with two toddlers not toddler and an infant. I have to Chicco single stroller in the same pattern from my son and I love that one! All in all I would go with a front to back.

  21. ROZ on September 14th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR MY DAUGHTER-IN-LAW’S SHOWER, WHICH SHE LOVED AND REALLY WANTED FOR OUR LONG AWAITED GRANDBABIES.

  22. Busy Busy on September 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I use this stroller for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and 8 month old son. I think it’s great. I use this stroller for everything. It fits through any door I’ve ever tried getting it through, very easy to maneuver, it has many reclining positions, and it’s easy to open and close. The baskets are a good size and it also has storage pouches on the backs. I have used a front & back double before and i think those are horrible, way to hard to even push. I think people forget that this is a DOUBLE STROLLER and if your looking for it to have everything anyone could want and do it’s job it wouldn’t be compact.

  23. Sara 100% MOM! on September 26th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have 4 kids and I use it for the two oldest, who are two! They love it and it runs great. The wheels are great along with the basket.. etc!

    Perfect!

  24. twinmom on October 16th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I love this stroller, I am a mom to 3 month old twins, and it works perfect. The baskets are good size for storage. It is easy to unfold and fold, and also not that heavy. The reclining seats are very easy to switch positions, and it fits through every doorway I have gone through so far. It is overall a very good stroller, the only thing I dont like is that it doesnt have bars/cupholders for the twins when they get older, but thats no big deal… love it!

  25. Coco on October 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

I have been using this stroller since my twins birth in July 2008 and I like it, but I thought it would be better. My major concerns are:1. maybe it is lighter than other strollers, but it is heavy no matter what. I am having hard time to pack it up and put it in my trunk, for example.2. the underneath basket is kind of small, but the real problem is that you can reach the stuff you put there only if the seat is up, so if the babies are sleeping and I need something from the baskets, I have to disturb them because I need to push up the back of their seats.3. The sun shade is a joke. Why is it even there, I don’t know.4. It is only a month that I have been using the feet cover that is located underneath the front part of the seat, and already one of the loops you need to put the Velcro straps in, is tearing. The tear is pretty big, and I will call Chicco to ask to replace the entire stroller…that tear keeps getting bigger and bigger and I am afraid I won’t be able to use this stroller for much longer. I’ll let you know if Chicco will accept to replace the entire stroller. If you pay [$] for a stroller, you’d better be able to use it for a couple of years at least! All in all, I like this stroller, and I would recommend it to a friends. I am a little bit disappointed because I had big expectations and I was in search for the perfect stroller.

  26. trousseau4 on October 21st, 2008 at 12:00 am

Love, Love, Love this stroller. I just converted to this stroller after using a very heavy, tandem stroller for two years., This one is lightweight and turns on a dime. It opens and closes easily. The storage backets are a good size for a compact stroller. My only complaint is the canopies. They are small and a little flimsy, but a minor complaint with the overall happiness of this stroller. I am using it for two toddlers and it works great. Well worth it and MUCH better than the Peg Perego twin Aria and a lot cheaper!!!)

  27. Mom to two boys on October 27th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I like the way this stroller collapses and pops up. Easy to use with a newborn. Storage not so great. I like the small storage pockets near the back of each seat. Easy to steer. It’s a little heavier than I’d like but not too bad. Luckily its not any wider or it wouldn’t fit through doorways.

  28. Mommabear on November 18th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I tried out many different strollers and researched alot and I am soo happy I got this one. Its just about the perfect size to fit thru any door way, the handles are very comfortable, and I love the 5 point harness. It collapses really small which is great and is easy to carry, not too heavy. My kids love the stroller, I used it from the beginning with my toddler and baby and the weight distribution was perfect, I had no issues steering or any issues tipping which can often be a problem with side by sides. It can hold alot, my kids, diaper bags, and even a carrying cooler strapped across the back without a problem. The only thing I would change is getting a shade to add onto it since the shades that come on it are a little on the short side. Hope you enjoy this stroller and get as much use out of it as we have. Happy shopping~

  29. Rachel on November 19th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I researched a lot before purchasing a double stroller for my 13 month old daughter and newborn son. I loved that this one folded so compact as we don’t have a large trunk for storage. Also, the stroller fits very well through doorways and rides very smoothly. The only thing that I would improve upon are the sun shades (which has been mentioned in other reviews) and I think the stroller latched closed on both sides to make it seem more stable when closed. Other than that it is truly perfect!! I love the Chicco products!

  30. Mommy Fabulous on November 20th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I tried out so many different styles of strollers and did a lot of research. I am so happy I chose the Chicco. It’s the perfect size to fit through most door ways, it collapses easily and is very compact. There are a few things I would like to change 1) The Canopies could give more shade. 2) The storage baskets are inaccessible while the seats are fully reclined. I don’t want to hold my diaper bag, shopping bags and steer a double stroller to. However, keep in mind that you cannot have the best of everything and overall this stroller is awesome!

  31. jen on November 23rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

this is a great stroller!! after using a huge heavy double stroller it was a great to have a light weight easy to carry stroller. the sun shades could be a little better but the kids don’t mind.

  32. mamacj on December 3rd, 2008 at 12:00 am

We bought this stroller for use with my 2 1/2 year old and 6 week old and it is great! We fit everywhere including two different zoos, the sidewalks to the park and the mall doors. Granted, it doesn’t fit down those tight aisles but I know that wheelchairs and regular strollers don’t fit through some of those tight aisles and clothing racks! This is a great stroller for the price and you won’t regret your purchase!

  33. Michelle on December 4th, 2008 at 12:00 am

I really like this stroller, its easy to maneuver, fits nicely through doorways, and is much more compact and lighter than other double strollers. Don’t get me wrong though it’s still big and heavy, just not as bad as others. But there are a few things that I have a problem with. #1 the sunshades are usless, however it’s that way with almost any stroller and #2 the recline is nice but it’s hard to reach. But other than that I really like this stroller and it’s nothing I can’t live with.

  34. Expecting Parents on January 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We wanted to purchase a Jeep dual stroller but this item apparently was discontinued or something because we could not find it online. We selected our second choice and this might work. We are still expecting so have not put it through the paces.

  35. Stephanie mom of 2 on January 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

LOVE this stroller. It was a dream in Disney World! It maneuvered so well through crowds and the tiny size once it was folded was the best feature! So easy to fold then pick up and take onto Disney transportation. Both my petite 5 year old daughter and big for his age 9 month son sat comfortably in it. baskets were great and the small pouches on top made it very convenient to store things like sunglasses, snacks, camera, without having to stow them underneath.

My one and only con is that the shades do not fold forward to block sun at a different angle. Not a big deal though.

  36. Traveling Mom of 2 on January 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I like this product and it was the top pick of 3 strollers on my list. This is my 2nd double stroller because my first is too heavy . This one is light 23 pounds and folds easy. It also holds 40 pounds in each seat. It has a cup holder and 2 baskets underneath, and the seats fully reclines separately. Easy to steer and manuever. The only down fall is that the seats do not come off to put in washing machine so you have to clean it with a sponge. My kids are messy. But we travel to disney and foreign countries and cruises alot so this one is great because it is light and folds small unlike other double strollers on market and it can be turned into a reclined carraige for infants. It is more durable than other strollers like it on the market and holds a decent amount of weight for the price and has storage on the back of the seat for keys, cell phone and small mom items. For my 35 pound 5 year old and 26 pound 19 month old it is great and can fit in doorways, not bulky. It folds small enough to fit on a crowded tram or train or in your husbands lap. Ladies no tolls needed for assembly. Just snap on wheels, canopy, and drink holder and you are done. Set up in 3 minutes.

  37. B on January 29th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We don’t own this and I’m glad. We tried it out in store and I have a 3 yr old that weighs 30lbs. Close to the limit I know. His shoulders hit the side joints and when I turned aisles with him in it some wheels didn’t stay in contact with the floor. Now if I had my newborn and him in it I think it would have done the same. It may be good for twins but not for unequal weight.

  38. lillin20 on February 18th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Its not only lightweight, but sturdy, steers perfectly, but it is also really easy to use and very cozy for the kiddos.

  39. Courtney on February 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Just got back from Disney World and stroller was great to get around with. Not to bulky, and folds up easily to get on and off of the bus. I love that my 4 month old fits snug in the seat, and my 2 year old can sit comfortably as well. Only bad thing is the sun shades are a complete waste. They don’t bend forward so the sun was in my kids faces all day long. Over all though a great stroller.

  40. julie on February 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Ok first the stroller is almost impossible to open. YOu have to put on all of the wheel locks and then I have to use all of my weight to jump on the stroller to get it to click down and lock into open position. A nightmare. The seat belt is really difficult too. It has all of this cloth padding with the Chicco brand name over the part where you are suppsoed to lock the belt in place and my husband and I both moan at what a pain in the neck this is. Look, this is a spare stroller we are promptly returning and maybe we are spoiled because our first stroller was the Maclaren twin techno which is great. I thougth I would give a shot at spending elss money but I guess you get what you pay for. Once you go with a nicer stroller it’s hard to want to do this one. Also the orange color is pretty ugly. I say move on, there have got to be better twin strollers where you don’t haev to pay 300.

  41. Ally on March 1st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have two little boys and a nine year old doghter. I love this stroller it is easy to stear and easy to get through the door way. It is also good for travling. It could use alittle more space on the bottem.

  42. Rach with 2 on March 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this from a garage sale practically brand new and its great! I love the storage space and that it reclines pretty far. The shades are pretty much useless but that is my only complaint. I just put a blanket over it, no big deal! Atleast with side by side strollers like this one, both kids can sleep without being squished like in tandem strollers. I had a tandem double stroller before this one and was disappointed that my older child couldn’t sleep nicely with his seat reclined. My daughter would kick him and pull his hair while he tried to sleep, so it wasn’t the stroller for us. This one does its job!

  43. Marisa Busy mom on March 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

Perfect for my 2 years old girl and my newborn boy.. easy to run around with it

  44. mom on the go on March 5th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is excellent for multiples. I have 10 month old twin boys, and they love it. It is so easy to use and folds up really tight to make space in the trunk. It has been truly a godsend to us. Our other stroller took up so much space and was difficult to get in out of the van. I can’t say enough about this product.

  45. Work from home mom on March 11th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I left my stroller somewhere by accident and when I went back it had been stollen. I loved this stroller so much I bought it again. This is not the first double stroller I have purchased but by far the best.

  46. Momof2 on March 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is a great stroller and we have put it to good use. Its been on planes, trains, buses, monorails, you name it. It has also survived Disney World with a 4 yr old and a one yr old. Its light, easy to fold up and carry. Both sides move up and down separately, which was great in Disney when one wanted to sleep and the other did not. I definitely recommend.

  47. Jana,Kendall,&Noah'smom on March 15th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I bought this at our local Babies R Us when I found out that I was having twins. Our twins have used this since they were 8 days old. We are very outdoor people so this stroller has survived hikes, walks, runs, park, shopping, and even the beach. Our oldest daughter is 4, and sometimes my husband will be carrying one of the twins so she will jump in and she fits! Our twins love this, adn it’s big enough for all their blankets, toys, ect.

  48. Mom of 2 boys on March 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is awesome. I have a 2 year old and a 10 month old we use this everywhere we go.. We have to fly alot to visit family and we take it right to the gate. My children are both very comfortable and the seats recline seperately so if my 10 month old wants to take a nap it is still comfortable for my 2 year old.. I would recommend this stroller to anyone…..

I have a 2 month old and a 2 year old. The stroller is perfect for both. Easy to push and steer, fits through a single door, folds compactly, seats lay down independently, basket space is decent. It is a truly wonderful stroller for the money and I get tons of comments on how nice it looks. Only complaint is the sun visors- we got the Kiddopatomas Rayshade to increase the sun protection. Definitely recommend this stroller!

We use this everyday for walks around the neighorhood as well as trips to the zoo plus more. It is quite easy to use once you get use to it. Even my older kids(ages 10 and 5) can fold and unfold it. Baskets are a tad small but we just put that childs stuff in his/her own basket that way we know where it is and whose it is.

This stroller was a hostess gift at my baby shower for our twins. We registered for it because we didn’t want the long twin strollers that fit the carriers. This stroller is super easy to fold/unfold, takes up relatively little space and turns on a dime. If I had to buy another stroller, I would buy this again!

  53. fidgetblogs on April 20th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I consider myself a double stroller connoisseur. From my days as a nanny through my mothering of girls 18 months apart and now my boys who are 15 months apart, I’ve pushed my fair share of double duty kid containment units and the Chicco Trevi Twin has been my favorite by far.

The Chicco Trevi twin is light weight, compact folding and easy to handle. It’s taken a bit for me to get used to the fold and unfolding procedure. I’m more adept at the spin handle mechanism but I must admit that the Trevi’s folding procedure is actually easier once you remember how to do it. No more wrestling with a rotating handle that just won’t rotate. I’ve never had to try and shove the unfolded Trevi into my vehicle because I couldn’t get it folded and everyone was melting down- unlike some other double strollers I’ve dealt with.

When folded, this double stroller rules all. I can easily dump it into my trunk and load grocery down on top of it. My other double stroller takes up the entire trunk and if I want the hatch to shut I have to hurl the entire weight of my body down onto the door to coax it into latching.

In the past I have avoided purchasing a side by side stroller. I vividly remember my days as a ‘tween shoving my brother and sister’s stroller, grumbling about the sidewalks/doorways/hallways being too narrow. The Chicco Trevi Twin is nothing like the kid plow of the past. It’s nimble on it’s wheels, can smoothly skirt through a doorway, and prance down my neighborhood sidewalk. This stroller is such a pleasure to use, I’ve started walking my daughter the 2 mile round trip to preschool.

The only downside I’ve discovered with this stroller is that my kids are right next to each other. This gives my nearly 2 year old open access to harassing the baby. I’ve found though, that this happens much less then I anticipated. I had visions of every outing ending in a hair pulling, leg pinching, nose grabbing battle. Over the past few months we’ve only had a problem 2 times- not bad considering how often I’ve got them riding around.

It’s a good quality double stroller with the potential to bring you much glee as it will make your life as a mom to two little ones much easier.

We have owned this product for 5 months now and still use it and love it. The cons are minor:
    1. Fits through doorway but you have little trouble if wheels are not straight on.
    2. Stores are not ment for side-by-side strollers, I get stuck everywhere!
Other than that I would recommend this stroller to anyone.

  56. Dean on April 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Used it to travel and it performed OK although it didn’t prove tough enough for the mishandling by airline staff (a small piece broke off but nothing that impedes function). Relatively light and easy to get around with for a twin stroller. Small basket though and needs both hands to fold.

  57. Mom of Twins! on April 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is (i) great for manuevering across various surfaces (ii)is very easy to open, fold & store; and (iii) twins seem comfy when riding & sitting. Now the downside: (i)the sun canopies are so small and provide little protection when used with infants (we purchased a Protect-A-Bub canopy & work awesome); and(ii) I am smaller framed (5′) and the handles are little too far apart for me – my husband likes them just fine.

  58. Mama Mia on May 6th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I had my eye on this stroller when I was pregnant with my second child but thought it was a little expensive. I settled for a Graco tandem and boy did I regret it! It was almost impossible to steer. We nicknamed it “The Bus”. When I refused to travel on vacation with “The Bus” I finally gave in and purchased the Chicco Trevi Twin and loved it immediately! I wish I purchased it from the get go. This stroller is really light and easy to fold/open. I only wish the visor was a little larger so that my children’s legs are not exposed to the sun, however they have sun visors for strollers to fix that problem.

  59. Carol on May 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I have a newborn and a 3 yr old. My newborn loves it and when we go for long strolls in the park he stays asleep. And my oldest son stays sitted and he loves it as well. I feel that it’s easy to manuever and close. The only bad thing, I feel that the canopy could be bigger or longer. They don’t protect too much from the sun. But, nothing can be perfect and I am truly happy I purchased this stroller.

I have two kids ages 10months to 2 years, I have an old Jeep Double stroller which I still love but it didn’t fit so great in the car trunks and back of the van plus very heavy. I got this one because I love the seats go back when they sleep and the basket under the hold a good bit, folds up easy, light weight and just about fits anywhere easy. Very easy to put together too I think I was done in less then 5 mins the hardest part was opening the box.

I just purchased this stroller over the weekend. Great Buy and Price.

Folds Easy, Lightweight, Great color, my 6 months and 2 year old are happy and comfortable. Need I say more.

At first, I was not sure if my diaper bag straps would go over the both stroller handles, however the straps can extend over both handles. That is a big PLUS for me.

    Thanks Chicco,

  63. Mom of Two on May 30th, 2009 at 12:00 am

If money is not an issue for you, then I would go with Maclaren. The Maclaren double is nicer than this, but the price for this is unbeatable. I wanted to address two issues that had me concerned based on reviews I read before purchasing. First, The fabric over the harness connection point is annoying, but it is only attached by velcro. I undid the velcro and pushed the fabric behind the snap, and then redid the velcro. The snap is sewn on the fabric further down so this doesn’t affect functionality, and the fabric still provides a little cushion between your child and the snap. Second, in the picture of the stroller the child fully reclined has a foot thing over it’s feet. I couldn’t tell what this was, and a reviewer said they couldn’t find where to purchase this. It’s actually attached under the seat, and simply pulls out. The purpose is still a little confusing to me. The directions state that you should use the “foot retention boot” when in the reclined position.” Furthermore that the “child may slip into leg openings and strangle” if not used. I’m guessing this only applies to young babies? Not quite sure, but wanted to let others know that it is included. As others stated the sun shades and storage are not great, but steering, comfort, and quality seem good (still brand new though). Having tried out the Maclaren double at the store, I can say this stroller is definitely not as nice, but hey the price is much better. I think this stroller is a good value.

  64. Busy mom to 3 on May 31st, 2009 at 12:00 am

I had a c-section and this stroller was super easy to put in and out of my vehicle. It is a overall great stroller.

I have to weigh the fact that it was wide, but once you line up the tires right you will breeze through any doorway.

The canopies are a bit small, but not that big of a deal.

Overall we love our double stroller and highly recommend it.

  65. Maclaren owner on June 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I own a Maclaren Twin Techno. It was a gift from my Mom. I have used it for my twin girls since they were about 9 mos. They are average size 24 mo. olds now and would be sitting tightly in the their stroller if they were wearing coats right now. I took them in their stroller to the store to try this one out. It has more shoulder room (wider seats) and feels sturdier than our Mac TT. Not one piece on this stroller wiggles when you maneuver it. The sun shades are a bit of a joke, but I plan to use a Protect-a-bub or Ray Shade. My girls rarely need sunshades anyway. The baskets are no less accessible than our Mac with the seats folded down. Which also is a rare situation. My girls have not let me fold their seats back since they started sitting up. I figure they will maybe be in a stroller for another good year and then they will abandon the whole idea, like my oldest did. Hope this helps all of you who are on the fence. Save yourself a couple of hundred bucks. More expensive does not mean better!

We have twins and this is a wonderful stroller. I bought it after lots of research. Love that it folds up like an umbrella stroller. It unfolds and folds up easily. I really like the colors. It is easy to push and it turns on a dime. No problem going through doorways. I also like that the seats lay back but not just up and down. The only thing I have a problem with and hope that Chicco changes with the newer strollers is the sun shades. They aren’t very adequate. Flimsy too. I am hoping to buy some shades to go over those for more protection.

  67. Mom of 2 on June 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller is woderful. My boys are 18 months apart and both fit comfortable. We travel a lot a larger stroller just wasn’t possible. It fits through all doors and is great for walks and traveling. The sunscreens are not great, but I use a blanket with a clothes pin to cover the infant. Very lightweight, easy to push. Love it!

  68. Mom of Identical Twins on June 8th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Purchased stroller after reading great reviews. Very disappointed. Handlebars are too far apart. I was also kicking the back wheels as I was walking my children, causing me to trip. The ride was very bumpy, not smooth at all. Stroller is hard to manuever. The only good thing about it is that it is not bulky

  69. Mommyofangels on June 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got it as a double stroller for my toddler and my newborn, and it worked great! I was really concerned about my toddler fitting in there, but he’s soo comfy! and my little baby just loves it!!
It’s soo light!and easy to push with the two kids in! best stroller ever!! I had tried a Graco duo glider-and that thing was soo heavy! so Im greatful for my Chicco!!

Easy set up, well made, and lightweight. The sunshades are small, however I bought sunshades to fit over them and they work great. Can’t wait to use this is Disneyworld(this is why it was purchased).

  71. julie mother of 7 on June 16th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The seats are made with heavy duty fabric and are sturdy. The frame of this stroller itself is thicker than most strollers I see. My 9 year old sat in it.(just once) She actually fit. Her legs were a little long but I remidied it by placing a rolled up baby blanket under her knees. Now I would like to tell you some more helpfull information. It folds up like an unbrella stroller but is bulky on one end due to the six wheels. The stroller comes up high to my middle and I am 5’1. It has two individual storage baskets they would be satisfactory if they were just an inch and a half bigger. Each basket is long which is fine if your putting some thing relativly flat in it. The tall side of the basket that is visibable can only fit smaller bags in it. The hardest part of the basket is that the babys stuff is larger than the toddlers and harder to get to since he is fully reclined. So I put his stuff on the other side. When you look at the pictue of this stroller it showes this thing that can come up over the baby and keep him secure it really comes with that and it is very usefull. Also the pockets in the back of the canopy are very, very large. The shade is satisfactory for the toddler but for the baby at 7 weeks I use the sun shade I purchased sepratly. All six wheels can lock making it a little confusing when you start to get gooing. Over all I think this is a nice stroller and I think it will last me for a long time.

  72. Mom on June 16th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Purchased this for toddler and newborn and it is a great, lightweight, compact stroller. HOWEVER you will need to spend some extra money on a sun shade to attach to it as the canopies do nothing to protect the kids from the sun. I bought the Protect-A-Bub twin sun shade and it fits great on this stroller and protects them very well.

    Otherwise great stroller.

I have had the stroller now for a few weeks. I traded my front to back double stoller for a side by side double stroller. I have 9 month old twins and they love to see what is going on at all times.

  74. Shiveaget on June 17th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This stroller reclines to maybe 10% angle. My daughter sleeps all the time in this one. I originally bought the sit n stand lx, but she could get comfortable. This stroller takes up about half to a third the space my sit n stand took up. The only con is the shadescreens are very small to non-existant, but I bought aftermarket sun shades that are spf 100. Very happy mom of a 3 y/o and 16 month old.

We love this stroller, we bought it b/c we have a 3 yr old & 1 yr old & my double tandum stroller is SO heavy & big!! this stroller is so light & easy to fold & put in the car, we used it on a vacation to Disney & it worked wonderful!! The only negatives i would say is the small baskets & a side by side is always hard to get through tight doorways, its not really a “mall” stroller but for everything else its GREAT!! I would highley reccomend this stroller 🙂

Folds easily. Hardly any assembly. Reclines fully for my 7 week old and a medium recline and full sit up positions for my 2 year. I love the handles and it turns like a dream. Fits in all doorways and public restrooms, even fits in the handicap stolls. I love this stroller!

  81. Nanny for infant twins on July 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I found that this stroller is REALLY hard to navigate through doors as well as push/steer with 1 hand. When you are busy with babies, It is really important to be able to do things one handed. I would recommend a side by side stroller with a solid handlebar or a long double like the Graco Duoglider.

  82. Twin Mom + 1 on July 9th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I purchased this for my 9 month old twin daughters. I was looking for a lightweight compact stroller that didn’t take up a ton of room in the back of my car. This stroller is great. It’s easy to manuever and fits through standard doorways. I like that it has several recline positions. The recline mechanism is easy to use, unlike my double jogger. Like everyone else said, the sunshades could be bigger and the baskets don’t hold a large diaper bag. But, what do you expect for a lightweight compact double stroller? Overall, I am very pleased with the stroller and I know we will get many years of use out of it, my three year old fits comfortably too!

  83. Mom of an infant and a toddler on July 10th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Reclining seats, great for my infant.
5-point harness, keeps my 2 yr old in!
Bought this stroller for a friend.
Baskets underneath are a little small.
One more cup holder would’ve been great.
Overall, couldn’t have found a better light-weight stroller to hold both my kids!

  84. mom of five on July 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

As a mother of five, I have owned 11 different strollers over the years. Five of them were twin…have owned cosco, graco, combe, peg perego, jeep, and maclaren. This was my first chicco. It is awful! Way too cumbersome, hard to push, terrible to fold, and awkward when folded. It was comparable to my old jeep side by side in quality, with a much higher price tag. Riders must be of equal weight to push at all, and even then they would have to be under 20 lbs. When I put my two boys (30 lbs each) in, I had to use all of my strength to push. I returned it for the Maclaren. LOVE the Maclaren. Such a smoothe ride that my eight year old can push it with ease with his two little brothers in it. It is by far the best stroller I have ever owned. I will definately stick to Maclaren in the future. Worth every penny!!!!!

  85. luv2bamom on July 15th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Like everyone before me has said-the sunshade and baskets are useless, but that’s what you get with an umbrella fold side by side. There are pouches on the back of the sunshade for keys etc. I purchased the Carry You double stroller console for the extras like sippy cups etc and it fits like it was designed specifically for this stroller.
The Trevi Twin is perfect for my newborn(2 weeks old) and very tall 3 year old. I bought a snuzzler for the baby and it’s perfect. I like that there is a window on the sunshade so that I can peek at the baby (I’m not entirely comfortable with him forward facing).
I had an awful time finding a double with enough head room for my 40 inch 3 1/2 year old and this is it! If she lets her feet hang they do rub the wheels a little, but she knows to keep them on the footrest.
I tried this and many others in many stores and it pushed like a dream. (I kept kicking the wheels on the Maclaren Twin Triumph and I am only 5’1″…my husband couldn’t walk with the twin triumph at all, which surprised us because we have the single and have no issues at all with it) When I came home I thought it was a little hard to push (like others have said in their reviews) and realized that the center wheel swivel was locked! Once I made sure all the wheels were unlocked I was able to push one handed no problem. The stroller also pushed surprisingly well on uneven terrain and bumpy sidewalks. The cupholder looks small but it fit my jumbo iced coffee from dunkin donuts! what more could you ask for…

  87. E and T's Mommy on July 27th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We bought this stroller to take to Walt Disney World. It was perfect for our 4 month old and our 2 and a half year old. The 4 month old was even able to sit up with the help of the harness straps, which she loved. We did find it a pain to buckle and unbuckle the kids in the stroller because there is a piece of cloth over it that says “Chicco.” We bought an extra sunshade for the stroller, which helped greatly and was extremely needed. My husband loved how easy the stroller was to fold and unfold. It was also very easy to steer and lightweight. We would recommend this stroller to others!

  88. Kim on July 28th, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is an excellent every day stroller for two young children (mine are 1 and 2 years). The features are a bit limited (lack of parent tray/snack trays, etc.)compared to some larger tandems, but the light weight and ease of use far outweigh it. The curved handlebars make steering super easy and this stroller can be pushed with one hand loaded with kids. The brakes are great – even in flipflops.

I gave it a four because of the poorly designed sunshades that really only help in noon sun. But really, if they were any larger, you would need to remove them in order to close the stroller. Also, it is a bit of a learning curve to open and close the stroller, especially when new and stiff – so practice at home a few times. But once I got the hang of it, I love the push down pedals to snap the frame open compared to other strollers we own.

Some negative reviews I read on this stroller sited that you could not access the storage baskets while the seats were reclined. There is a snap on the side that drops the basket down if needed. Perhaps this was added on a redesign? Also, I read that someone could not locate the infant boots, but mine are tucked up underneath the seat in a built in pouch. I have also read that people recommend the MacClaren or Peg Perrigo more. I test drove all three. The Peg Perrigo Twin Aria is quite a bit wider than this stroller and probably would not fit through most doorways. The MacClaren is very slick looking and extremely lightweight and maneuverable, but my 28lb. 2 year old looked squished in the narrow seats already. I cannot imagine two larger kids squeezed in it.

I first bought a large tandem to accommodate an infant seat which we only used for 8 months. I wish now I would have gotten this stroller first and saved some money. This stroller could easily be used for a young infant, although I don’t think I would put a newborn in it. But by the time a baby has some head control this stroller in the full recline position would be great!

  89. Jake's Mom on August 4th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got this stroller for three reasons: 1) I wanted a double stroller that folded umbrella-style, 2) I wanted a double stroller that was more sturdy than my PegPerego stroller, and 3) I was wanted something reasonably priced. This stroller fit the bill in all areas! Plus, it has nice features like adjustable seats, individual sunshades, and storage baskets.

I used this Chicco Trevi Twin Stroller for my 3 year old and my 1 year old. And the great thing about this stroller is very easy to fold and unfold. It only weighs 23 lbs. and it stores perfect in the trunk for my compact sedan. Thanks to the lightweight twin stroller made by Chicco.

  92. momnpop on August 12th, 2009 at 12:00 am

Very difficult to steer. Probably would be easier if my children were the exact same weight, but it was very difficult to turn corners. Also the sun shades are pretty much useless; they need to be bigger and pull down further. We returned ours after we used it a couple times.

  93. Kelly (Mother to two sets of twins) on August 13th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I did a ton of research before deciding on this stroller for my two month old twins. I narrowed it down to the Chicco and the Maclaren Twin Triumph which is twice as expensive.

First, I knew I wanted a side by side beacuse I had a front/back with my first set of twins and by the time the kids were one neither wanted to sit in the back. Front/backs are great if you are wanting to keep them in their carseats or if you are going to be going into a crowded store or mall. Honestly that is the only good thing about a front/back stroller for twins. So this time around I wanted a side by side.

Why did I pick the Chicco over the Maclaren:

    1. Plain and simple, I liked the way the Chicco looked.
    2. I wanted one that my four year old twins could also be comfortable in and felt that the Maclaren had smaller seats.
    3. Chicco is half the cost.

    Pros:
There really is not much that I do not like about the stroller. It is easy to open and close. Seems to have a smooth ride. Very easy to push. I have four year old twins, a two year old and two month old twins and have had ever possible combination ride in this stroller and have never had any problems being able to push it.

    Cons:
It does have small canopies(as do almost all umbrella strollers), but I just use a blanket to keep the kids out of the sun.
More storage would be nice, but of course that would add to the bulk and weight.

Overall I love this stroller. Great for newborns up to four years old.

  94. Mom of two on August 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The only thing is the sun shade it’s of no use LOL you can get an extender or just put a blanket over it but besides that it’s great, those who say the steering is bad probably just has one of the front wheels locked, once i unlocked all the front wheels it steered just as good as my jogger. My kids are 18 months apart so the size difference doesn’t bother me at all. under the seat is the attached cover which is great for the newborn, and I’m buying the bundle me for this winter and i’m sure it will be great for them. This is as light weight a double stroller gets so those that complain, what can u expect it’s a double stroller your not going to find anything lighter LOL. we looked at the maclaren but it didnt recline like this one and my daughter looked too tight in it, but this one is wide enough for her to sit comfortable and to go through a standard doorway. If your looking for a compact double stroller this is perfect and it folds smaller than my standard stroller.

we have 2 kids(7 mon & 2.5 y), we decided to buy a dual stroller for our trip overseas, the raeson we choose this one is its light weight and also it folds like an umbrella making it very compact when folded hoping we could take it on board the plane because alot of times the distance between the plane & luggage claim is to long and we also we had a 5 hours stopover in paris and we wanted to keep our stroller all the time and not to check it in, it worked in 2 of the 4 planes we took & we were able to keep it during our stopover which was great. the only disadvantages are the small baskets and no food tray for the kids which we sacrificed for the comapct size of this stroller
