We bought the European version of this before it was available here in the states and just love it. We use it with our 9-week old withthe Maxi-Cosi infant seat. It steers like a dream and is SO EASY to open and collapse. The only comment I have is the wheel base is a bit wide for navigating aisles while shopping and there’s no cup holder. Our daughter loves it and usually snoozes away the hours while momy shops.
The stroller is great for walking. I was looking for a jogger and fell in love with this stroller in the store. It strolls great and its more compact than the average jogger. The only (and main) problem is that it does not have a large basket or any cup holder. The major advantage is that the seat is reversible so that you can look at your baby while walking. i highly recommend the stroller.
Got this stroller at a local kid’s store- love it. Great if you do not want to be paying for a bassinet like another stroller (b——). Like other reviewer said, it is a bit wide but has a VERY smooth ride. The seat is like memory foam, like no other stroller. You must see it in person. Not the best sunshade but ok. Storage basket is very shallow and has that huge metal bar that runs right thru the middle so you cannot but a big item like a diaper bag in it, just little things. It is a bit heavy (around 30 ls.) I originally had the pliko p3 but after taking my baby on many walks thru the nieghborhood, found it to be very bumpy and cheap (it has tons of plastic on it). Pliko is a good choice if you are constantly throwing your stroller in your car (I use mine mainly for walks, and put it in car a few times a week). Wish the handlebar reversed. Feels very sturdy.
one more thing..the bugaboo cupholder fits on this stroller- it’s expensive but great quality!
I was going to buy another stroller which is double the price, but decided not to. I looked at the Quinny at another store and really loved the way it handles and functions. It’s great for both my husband and I who is much taller than i am. I am kinda bumbed you still need to purchase the Dreami Bassinet, but i purchased the Maxi-Cosi infant carrier instead. Overall, i think it’s great and I will love it once i start using this stroller.
PRICEY, BUT SO WORTH IT!! ITS DURABLE, CLASSY, STYLISH AND SMOOTH RUNNING!!!!! SO WORTH IT!!!!!!!!

ended up returning for the frog. buzz cons:Very wide (always running into things/people!)VERy heavy (35lsb vs 16 for the frog)3 wheel design makes it aweful going up/down curbsa bit odd looking with the front wheel (looks like a freaky arm!)small hood that is VERY loud (always scaring baby)no included bassinet (costly at [$] more)the frog does so much more and is more than 10 lbs lighter (you can really tell the difference). the frog’s handlebar reverses as well as the seat which is so convenient. If your’re going to spend [$] plus on a stroller you might as well just buy the frog- I could really tell the difference in quailty now that i have the bugaboo.
Strollers don’t get any better then this one. We travel full time with our jobs and my son spends more time in this stroller then in his own house. The ride is smooth, you can drive it with one hand, you can remove the sunshade so your toddler can see all around, great off road, unfolds with NO HANDS.
I went from the Bugaboo Frog to this stroller and love my decision! The Quinny Buzz is just as stylish and comfortable as the Bugaboo but if you are someone who needs to take your stroller in the car, the Buzz is so much better! One step open and fold is so easy! No need to take separate pieces apart to store. I added the Bugaboo cup holder. Once we have another child, we will purchase either the Maxi Cosi infant seat or the bassinet.
We just purchased this stroller for our new baby and love it! Unlike the usual travel system this frame works with the included seat as well as the Maxi Cosi carseat. Super quick to use and get into and out of the car. It is also great for urban sidewalks that are not so smooth. This stroller absorbs some of the bumps. We love and highly recommend it!
Loved the features:

Things that can be improved:
– To collapse the stroller you need to use two hands and bend your back to get to the buttons, its troublesome
– Shopping basket is too shallow and the frame kindof gets in the way
– The back wheels a lil bit too big (kinda didn’t expect that)
The european Quinny comes with a bright red color.. I wonder why we don’t have it here.. sigh
I have this stroller now for a year. It rides smoothly but the wheel base is so wide that I am constantly bump into things because I can not go through in the narrow spaces. I also very disappointed with it`s storage space. If you go for a walk in the park it is nice looking stroller that make heads turn, but If you go shopping with it there is no room for anything. The bag underneath can be used as a dipper bag but that`s about it. The good things about this system is that it is compatible with Maxi Cosi car seat and many times I used it that way and my baby slept through transition from car to the stroller. I also own a bassinet and I used it until my baby was about 5 month old she loved to sleep in it. The stroller seat is also the most comfortable and very roomy for baby. If I plan a long day out I always take a stroller seat with me not the car seat because my baby did not like to be in the car seat for a long time, but she can sit in the stroller for a long time as well as take multiple naps. I love the sunshade too it is very big and covers sun very well. I also did not like the fact that you have to have 2 hands to fold this one and it is pretty havy to lift. Yes it unfolds pretty much with one hand but for me it is more important to fold it fast then unfold it. Any stroller now days unfolds pretty much with one hand. Also it takes a lot of room in the trunk of my moorano Nissan. Now I am looking to buy more light stroller like baby planet, and it is very stylish too.
If the base of this stroller was a bit more narrow and it had bigger storage this would make me buy it again, but actually I am thinking of selling it and buy a baby planet stroller.
We imported ours in 2006 for the birth of my son in Nov. It’s been a 1.5 years and we’re still using it. I just bought the maxi-cosi car seat and used that until we used a converatble car seat at 6 mo. (He was already 20 lbs). My husband didn’t want a “bassinet on wheels” – meaning something that was so girly to use himself. He liked this design the best. The only negative for me was the wide wheels, but it’s such a smooth ride, that it didn’t bother me. We got a lot of oohhh and ahhhs, but we just didn’t want the frilly stuff. Now, we use the seat that the quinny comes with and he’s happy at 1.5 years. I did buy an umbrella stoller too for the super light weight, quick, and easy use. That was the best $20 I ever spent! Back to the quinny, overall, we’ve been pleased. As for storage, we used the compartment underneath and it was fine when we used it. I don’t like carrying the whole house with me anyway and like simplicity.
I wanted to like this stroller but ended up hating it. It’s just too wide. I hated taking it in stores because I felt like I was pushing a double stroller. It also doesn’t fold easily and takes up a lot of room in the car. I wish I would have spent the extra $350 and gotten the Bugaboo. 🙁
Love this stroller so much. It not only looks hip and chic , but it is so comfortable for the baby and mom. It is simple to use and easy to set up. the canopy is great. Its steady and it seems as if it glides on the street. I would not change it for anything else. OHh and just to add the matching car seat by max cosi fits right in!!!
right now we use the stroller w/ the maxi-cosi infant seat and the carry cot bassinet. It is the smoothest ride! We always get a lot of attention and constant questions. The only thing that is a negative are the back wheels. They are wider than most. The pneumatic tires are awesome! Storage is easy….very easy to collapse and springs open with ease. I have a very tiny car and it fits perfectly.
We did a lot of research before selecting this stroller and have not been disappointed. Our son loves the Maxi Cosi car seat that fits this stroller. We noticed that when he was uncomfortable in the car seat it was because we needed to adjust the straps. Once we did that he was happy to nap, play or just hang out during our outings. The storage compartment is smaller than other strollers, but how much do you really need to carry? It’s been great and we have recommended it to friends.
I love this stroller! After buying the Peg Perego (and returning it) along with the bugaboo frog, this is my favorite! We live downtown where the sidewalks are not always even and this stroller can handle anything. My baby doesn’t even blink when pushed over curbs and bumps…she loves this! Easy to store and easy to use! Great with Maxi Cosi car seat!
This is the second stroller that i have purchased. The first one was a gesslein [$], now that my son likes to sit up, the stroller is useless. I love the quinny, its worth every dollar: it is light, easy to fold and my son loves to sit up in it.
the stroller is good overall. it strolls great and my son likes it. its very very heavy,you cannot possibly carry your baby and the stroller at the same time. THE ONLY MAJOR COMPLAINT IS THAT THE SEAT MAKES MY SON SWEAT LIKE CRAZY. I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER STROLLER TO USE IN THE SUMMER BECAUSE OF THIS. I GUESS ITS GREAT FOR THE WINTER TIME BUT DEFINATELY NOT TO BE USED IN THE SUMMER. I recommend a Bugaboo instead.
I love the way the buzz looks and rides. We also purchased the bassinet for when our son and it worked great! We also have the matching car seat, he certainly prefers the bassinet. The way it unfolds is super handy, it just takes a little getting used to to fold up…make sure not to pinch your fingers! Yes, the shade STINKS but we fixed that by adding the RayShade by Kiddopotamus…matches beautifully and makes this stroller perfect!
Overall this has been a great stroller. I was out almost everyday this summer to stroll with my son who is now 5 months. He hated the bassinet so we ended up returning that. We used the Maxi Cosi car seat and he loved it.
PROS –
Smooth ride!! I can’t say enough about how great this stroller is on bumps. We live in the city and it’s fantastic on the bumpy sidewalks.
Comfort – My son has really taken to the toddler seat and the car seat. We used the toddler seat for part of the summer and he wasn’t too hot. I know some earlier reviews mentioned they had issues.
Easy to transport – Once this stroller is locked it is so easy to get in and out of the car.
CONS –
Canopy is small – A few hair clips and a thin blanket and we solved that issue.
Storage is scarce – I bought a bike bag to use on the handle bar and it’s worked out great.
Weight – I agree it’s not the lightest stroller but none of the travel systems really are. When our son was first born we used a snap and go for car trips. (Maxi Cosi car seat does not work with our snap and go) We have a second seat that we used in the beginning.
Over all it’s a great stroller. We have recently transitioned to using the maxi cosi car set in the car and the Quinny when we are out and about. Can’t hold the baby and lock the stroller at the same time but it hasn’t been an issue yet.
looks amazing. very expensive when you purchase carseat stroller and dreami bassinett.mine is so hard to fold down when i`m out alone i need to ask strangers to help fold it up its true it does unfold great with one hand but to fold this stroller up its a struggle sometimes i feel like just leaving it at the mall!! it also takes up the whole trunk and theres no cup holders and there is basically no storage with this stroller.
I ended up returning this stroller and spending the extra money for a Bugaboo. It was too hard to fold alone and the material of the seat is aweful!! It makes your kid sweat. I would suggest picking a stroller with a cloth or breathable seat material.
The rear tires are nearly impossible to inflate. It is a defect in design. The pump they provide is a screw on and lets all the air out when you try to remove it from the tire. You can’t use other pumps because there isn’t enough room to fit the valve between the wheel frame and the tire. When I attemtped to get help from the company, I was sent on a wild e-mail goose chase with no success after 7 months! These strollers are manufactured in various countries, and if you happen to get one from the Netherlands (like I did), the US Quinny customer service will not help you. They simply send you to the Quinny website, which lists no contacts for customer service in that country. I am not even trying to get complimentary help at this point (even though the stroller is new), I just want to fix the stroller so that I canuse it and will pay to do so- but I can’t get anyone to help me.
This stroller is really light and easy to control. But the material of the seat is really stinky, the plastic smell of the seat would last at least one month. It’s too hard to fold this stroller, it has to be fold and hold properly or it might get unfolded automatically in the trunk.
After going making a list of what is important to my husband and I in a stroller, we decided on this one. We love the way it folds, and unfolds, the weight, and how easy it is to set up and take down. We are using the maxi cosi, and found it incredibly easy to put the car seat in, and out of the stroller. We love the stroller and are very happy with our choice. We travel a lot, and plan on doing so for a long time. This stroller is a wonderful choice, and I highly recommend playing with all the strollers your thinking of before getting them. We drove an hour and a half to play with this one before we bought it.
My daughter that is now 14 months, has used this stroller since her first day home. Its quality and accessories are reliable at conveniently reasonable prices. I plan to order new parts and use the Buzz again for my newborn son due 01/2009.
I loved this stroller when I saw it and then I had a chance to try it out in person. First of all, while it’s nice the it unfolds by itself, it is CRAZY heavy and it takes up almost the entire back of my SUV. Second, the seat fabric is odd (like foam or something) and looks like it would make your kid sweat. The seat is also very small. My daughter is 15 months and small for her age and she take up the whole thing. I can’t imagine anyone being able to use it for a 3 year old.
I ended up going with the bugaboo because it has a bigger seat that is fabric (and it’s not as heavy). Having it fold in two pieces hasn’t proved to be a problem at all and it fits nicely with room to spare in my car.
Great looking stroller, but negatives are 1) difficult to fold down 2) automatic unfold is a pain as the stroller unfolds in the car trunk and no one can help you with the stroller because it unfolds when they lift it up 3) unfold lock broke on my stroller frame after 5 months of use 4) no cup holder – which I bought a bugaboo cup holder and it fits on there, but you cannot lock the stroller down with the cup holder attached 5) very heavy to lift in and out of car and to travel with 6) poor customer service.
We go out for many day trips, and we travel a lot, and this Quinny has been great for us as well as our Daughter.
While it is heavy, and does take up space, it wouldn’t be practical for quick in and out shopping stops. I would recommend smaller strollers for that. (mclaren)
However, it is comfortable. Our daughter loves sitting in it for hours. Sometimes she would even sit in it at home..
Both myself and my husband are tall and we love the fact that we are not hunching over our stroller. This stroller has a feature where you can raise the handle bar.
It pushes easily, however, you have to make sure the wheels are pumped up. It comes with a pump that you can carry with you. If you have problems pumping it up, you can always detach the wheels and pump it.. Even at a gas station!!
There isn’t a basket underneath to store stuff, just a small bag.
There isnt a cup holder, you can purchase one extra.
The seat can totally come out and you can have it facing you as well as facing outwards.
You can purchase a bassinett attachment for infants. As well as the maxi-cosi car seat.
Its a great stroller that suits our lifestyle of loving the outdoors.
Did i mention, it has a great design, and it does need care. You can’t just toss it around, Like a Graco. You should make sure that its oiled and clean and maintained.

We’ve been using this stroller since my son was born (4 months ago), only with the Maxi Cosi Mico infant seat, so I can’t speak to how the Quinny seat has been working, but I can say that we love this stroller. (And I have felt the seat, which feels like neoprene/wetsuit material, and absolutely NOT like burlap. Seriously?)
The stroller maneuvers like dream, and I can easily steer/push it with one hand. The wheel locks are easy to operate, it folds down nice and flat, and pops open with the easiest and quickest touch. We constantly get looks and compliments on this stroller, and after trying out the various Bugaboos, Maclarens, etc. we were completely sold as soon as we tried this one. My husband and I are both tall, and every other stroller we test drove caused us to 1) hunch over the push bar and 2) kick the back wheels. The handlebar can extend up to 6+ inches, and the back wheels are far enough apart that we never kick or trip on them, like we did on others.
My son benefits from the very smooth ride and nice bouncy shocks, and I’m excited to try out the stroller with the original seat, once he’s big enough. I’d recommend this stroller to any parents.
We got this stroller because my husband wanted one that he could use aswell without it looking too girlie. It’s a great stroller but it’s a little bit heavy for me to carry into the trunk of the car. Overall, it’s easy to use and stroll you baby/child in. I like it aswell. Right now I am using it with the compatible car seat.

I will be doing a lot of airplane traveling once my baby is born. Size and weight were two important characteristics a stroller must have. After checking all other alternatives I decided to go with this one. It has the alternative of utilizing a basinet, is light, pops up by itself, and it is COMPACT!!! Imaging going through gates in busy airports with some other monster strollers… Not to mention subways with no elevators in foreign countries, busy sidewalks in huge cities, etc, etc…
A week after I put the stroller together my husband and I went on an outlet shopping day–needless to say we saw tons of families pushing strollers around. At our return, he went to the baby’s room were the stroller is standing and he made the comment… “Wow, our stroller is light and small compare to others”
