This product is the best I’ve seen so far. We looked for months before we decided on this one. Setup was easy, except putting the pins into the back wheels. That was a little tricky but after working at it, it was easy. The basket in this stroller is huge and can carry a purse, diaper bag, and a bag of groceries. Folding and resetting up the stroller is really easy and isn’t too bulky. I would definately recommend this product to first time parents.

THIS STROLLER IS GREAT!! ITS NICER IN PERSON THEN IT LOOKS IN THE PICTURE IT LOOKS GRAY IN THE PICTURE BUT ITS A DARKER BABY BLUE THE DESIGN IS NICE ITS LIKE THE BMW OF ALL STROLLERS!! I GAVE IT 4 STARS BECAUSE I STILL DONT KNOW HOW IT PERFORMS.. VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER EXCEPT WHEN U HAVE TO PUT THE CLIP ON THE BACK WHEELS THAT TOOK ME FOREVER!!! WORD OF ADVICE PUT THE SCREW ALL THE WAY IN OTHER WISE YOUR GOING TO THINK OH WELL I NEED TO TAKE THIS OFF SO IT CAN FIT I DID THAT AND DIDNT REALIZE TIL AFTERWARDS THAT I TOOK OFF THE BRAKES HAD TO TAKE IT OFF AND PUT IT IN CAUSE IT WASNT FITTING WITH THAT JUST PUSH THE SCREW ALL THE WAY IN TO THE METAL AND PERFECT FIT! I’D BUY THIS STROLLER ALL OVER AGAIN IF I HAD A GIRL THE NEXT TIME JUST HOPEFULLY THEY COME OUT WITH A CUTE DESIGN AND COLOR FOR A LIL GIRL BUT THIS WOULD WORK FOR A LIL GIRL TOO.. ONE MORE THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS IS THAT ITS NOT A 2 SETTING OPTION WHEN U LAY IT DOWN OR SIT IT UP YOU CAN SET IT WHERE YOU LIKE IT ITS NOT A PLASTIC THAT SETS IT ITS LIKE A BELT IN THE BACK YOU CAN TIGHTEN IT TO THE SETTING YOU LIKE AND THE LITTLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT ITS CLOTH NOT PLASTIC NOT AS BIG OR AS HEAVY AS OTHER TRAVEL SYSTEMS I HAD BOUGHT A GRACO TRAVEL SYSTEM WITH THE CLOCK AND DID NOT REALIZE IT ONLY HELD UP 23 LBS AND RETURNED IT FOR THIS ONE YOU GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH WITH THIS ONE A BIG + !!

  3. FIRST TIMER on February 5th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I LOVE THE STROLLER. IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ONLINE PIC. I WENT TO GET A DIFFERENT STROLLER THAT I WANTED FOR MONTHS BUT FELL IN LOVE THE MOMENT I SAW THIS ONE. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS GETTING THE PINS ON THE BACK WHEELS…IT TOOK ABOUT 20 MINS TO FIGURE IT OUT! OTHER THAN THAT NO COMPLAINTS HERE. A MUST BUY!

  4. Tristen's Mom on February 5th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Love this system! I was a little nervous ordering it before seeing it in person, but the colors are just what I wanted! It does look like a sage green in the picture, which in fact it is more of a teal blue/chocolate brown. I am going to have to send it back and re-order because the canopy on the carseat was slightly torn…but other than that, we love it! The carseat is also VERY cushioned and seems to be quite comfy! It is somewhat large, but would definitely fit most babies until they are 1. Our baby won’t be here until June but I’m sure he’ll love it!

  5. cristina on February 6th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We love this system. We went to our local BRU today and had our minds made up on the new Graco Stylus. That is until I saw this system, it has lots of padding in the seat and I really like the air side impact protection that this seat offers. Really easy to put together. I have a 2009 Mazda 3 hatchback and it fits nicely in the seat. The color scheme is nice and neutral. The basket is a nice size will hold a diaper bag easily. The stroller is really light com paired to all the other ones in the store. The only problem we had putting it together was the pins for the back wheels, these are a little difficult to get in but with a pair of pliers it wasnt that bad. I could not rate it 5 stars because my little one is not here yet.

  6. Nik on February 14th, 2010 at 12:00 am

the product is safe, looks good, and works efficiently.

  7. First Time Mommy on February 15th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We picked this system out after looking at tons of other systems on-line. I tried it out in the store and this system was stable, easy to use and fetl like it was made good comparred to all the other ones we had been looking at. My only complaint is the pins you have to put in the back wheels, took me forever but I finally user some pliers and they went in. Other than that I love it!!

  8. "Wait 'til the last minute" Shannon on February 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

My husband and I are expecting our first child in May and we are completely oblivious as far as what the best products are out there. We had no idea what travel system we were going to buy until we had a chance to interact with a few of them. And that is when we fell in love with this one, by far!! It is extremely easy to maneuver, it barely feels like you’re putting any effort into pushing the stroller. The car seat is padded and soft, great for your "precious cargo". The bottom storage area is very large so you can fit all the essentials, like your diaper bag, purse, shopping bags, etc… It also has a wide range of positions for your baby whether they want to recline all the way down so they can take a nap or all the way up so they can see what is going on around them. As if ALL that wasn’t enough, the opening and closing of the unit is very easy, so much so, that you can do it with one hand.

  9. Third time mom on February 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We bought this a week ago for our 3rd child due in July. It was easy to set up, with the exception of the back wheel pins. We needed pliars. That is the only problem I’ve found with the stroller so far.

We chose this one for the super thick padding in the car seat and stroller. All the others we could feel the plastic from the seat through the cover.

We are having a girl the stroller is chocolate and blue. I do wish it came in a more girly pattern but this will definitely work for either boy or girl.

The stroller is light and easy to open and close. It has a great handle height and a smooth ride.

The canopy and basket underneath are nice and big. I have no doubt that I will be able to fit a good sized diaper bag plus shopping bags in there. It would also work great at the grocerystore if you didn’t have a lot of things to buy.

I like that the parent tray has two cup holders and the accessory holder is deep and has a cover so your keys, phone, etc. won’t show.

The material on the stroller and car seat seem thick and durable. It’s a nice quilted patter on the canopy.

The car seat is a tad heavier than others but I expect that from a durable car seat. I worry if it’s too light it won’t hold up in an accident. It’s bigger and longer than other seats we looked it. It seems easy to get in and out of the base and to attach and unattach from the stroller. I haven’t tried to adjust the shoulder straps that may be the big test later on.

All in all so far it seems like a great stroller at a reasonable price. It’s not the cheapest nor is ist the most expensive.

  10. Parents of two on February 21st, 2010 at 12:00 am

We just got this stroller today and my husband actually took it out of the box and put it together in the store!! Haha. I’m glad he did because it is a little tricky to put it together. What everyone says about the back wheels is COMPLETELY true! And u have to definitely read the instructions(my hubby tried to wing it-not a good idea). Other than that, it seems perfect and the car seat is a lot more roomy than our chicco one. Our daughter has very long legs and they were hanging out of her chicco car seat! Also, the stroller is the smoothest ride of all the strollers we’ve owned. Now we just need to get rid of our 3 other strollers! ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Selah's Mom on February 22nd, 2010 at 12:00 am

My husband and I just purchased this on Friday..We used the stroller twice already and it maneuvers with such ease. We were able to store a diaper bag, my purse, and some shopping bags. Our daughter loves the car seat. It has so much more cushion than all the others at the store, and her body seems to breathe better with the fabric. She used to sweat a lot in her last car seat. We are very satisfied with this purchase and trust that it will last us a very long time. It is very comforting to know that she has some time to grow into it and she will be well protected with the new side-impact protection. Overall, this is the best travel system for the amount we paid. We would recommend this product to everyone.

  12. Bigdoggpinc (5680) on February 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

How you use the product – sell at store 5680 and online. This one is hard to keep in stock right now.
Things that are great about it – unmatched technology, really great padding my guest as always asking for, is now here. Solid construction.
Things that aren’t so great about it – easy enough for me to sell but not extra car base listed right now.

  13. Enjoying Motherhood on March 1st, 2010 at 12:00 am

It’s very easy to set up and to use plus it’s light weight makes it easy to travel.

  14. PA KB +3 on March 4th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This is the most comfortable stroller/carseat in the entire store! The padding is plush and soft, whereas others feel thin or nonexistent. I know my baby will be cradled instead of laying on hard plastic and foam. I love the one handed release and the colors are suitable for a boy or a girl. The stroller is easy to maneuver and has plenty of storage space underneath.

The canopy on the carseat is a bit difficult to open and close. I’m hoping that will ease with continued use.

Assembly was easy….until I reached the back wheels. Here’s a tip for step 4b that took 2 hours to realize: After partially inserting the cotter pin into the axle hole, push the top of the pin flat into the wheel well. Apply brake so the axle can’t slide back and forth. Then use a screwdriver (or something similar) to fit into top curve of pin and pull straight down toward axle hole. This gives you the leverage needed to insert pin and secure the wheel. Tada! I’ve just saved you a lifetime of frustration ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. MominJuly on March 6th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Well, we purchased this system today because I had a 20% off coupon. I absolutely love it. It is very gender neutral and is very lightweight. It was pretty easy to put together. My husband did have to use pliers to put the back wheels on. Everything is very easy to adjust with this system. The only thing I don’t like, and this is why I give it 4 stars, is that it is hard to click the carseat onto the stroller. It might not be extremely hard to do, but it definitely isn’t as easy as other systems. I want to point out that there IS an extra base available for purchasing online. It is the Safety 1st Onboard35 Adjustable Infant Car Seat Base.

    Overall, I love this system!

  16. RickysJellybean on March 8th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I have been stalking this for 3 months! It was supposed to be released in mid-January. […] So finally I get my hands on it and it is what i wanted and MORE. It is cushioned very well, durable easy to clean fabric, and the one handed releasae feature is great!Stroller manuevers well and is not too heavy. Folds pretty flat and asy to transport. The level feature on the car seat is very useful.

  18. MommyToBeElaine on March 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I went into BRU yesterday and saw this new stroller and I instantly fell in love with it! I’m having a girl and it’s not the girliest stroller BUT it drives soo smooth. It has very handy storage compartments for mom. Great size storage basket below and the brown fabric looks very classy! I also like the flap on the top to peek in to see the baby because you can open it when you want and it’s not that cheap plastic looking window you normally see. The last and greatest thing of all is that it looks extremely safe. I love the air padding on the carseat!! I’ve always seen the convertible car seats but had never seen a travel system with this feature. I cannot wait to place my little girl in this.

  19. ladybuggs mommy. on March 20th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I love this travel system! i would buy it again, the colors are beautiful great for either boy or girl. Its very easy to fold up and it has a big compartment at the bottom to store any of your personal items ex: diaper bag ect.
The only problem i had with the stroller was when my husband tried to put the safety pins for the back wheels, besides that everything is GREAT! :]
i would defenetly reccomend this product.

  20. Mommie-to-Be on March 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I really like this stroller combo. It works very nice. They stroller is so light weight and folds up in to a tiny thing. When you fold it up though watch for the lock as it can break easy. […]. I LOVE the convertible car set too. The new air products they came out with are nice!

  21. Rabalais5 on March 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I just love this travel system, the stroller was the sturdiest and seemed to be overall the highest quality out of all the strollers on display. The car seat also holds a child up to 35 pounds and most of the others only hold up to 22. The material is also very nice, the car seat cover is so thick it blocks wind and rain very well,I am sooo happy with my purchase!

  22. Alie on March 25th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This was a gorgeous travel system in person & I was so very close to purchasing it!! …And then I noticed something about the stroller…if you can compare it side by side with other strollers, you will see there is absolutely no leg room for a toddler! It was almost half the distance from tray-to-foot-support as the Graco travel systems (babies wouldn’t be able to slide out, which is a plus). I imagine my 2 year old niece would be forced to dangle her feet well below the foot support, which would put them right in the way of the wheels & in danger of injury. Not to mention the lack of comfort and the hassle of getting them in & out as I’m pretty sure their feet would get caught up pretty easily. I definitely recommend checking this out in person before purchasing. This didn’t appear to be adjustable at all.
I have to say this was by far the nicest car seat that we saw, much more cushioned feeling than others. Also, the stroller folded up much shorter than others & would likely take up less than half of my trunk space in my Mazda 6. Good luck!
BTW, we went with the Graco Stylus Travel System Stroller (Ben), which was also less expensive.

  23. MOMOF3 on March 26th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I bought this online based on its excellent reviews and I loved the colors. This is our third and final baby so we decided to not find out the sex, and the colors work for either girl or boy. The pictures do not do this stroller justice! It was easy to put together, I didn’t have any problems with the back wheels because I just used pliers to get the pins in. The stroller moves very smoothly, and everything is easy to use. It is nicely padded, has plenty of room without being too bulky, and will be very comfortable for the baby. I can not wait to put our baby in it!

  24. Lazara on March 26th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This stroller is great. I love that it is neutral in color, and most of all that it was designed to protect my baby. It is on the expensive side, which was a negative for me, but it will be well worth the extra bucks. It was easy to put together, but the only thing I did not like was that it was extremely difficult to place the safety pins on the back wheels. I had to literally push the brake to lock the wheel in place, and then use a straight edged screwdriver to help slide the pin down. It was hard, but once I figured it out, it was a piece of cake.

  25. AJ on April 6th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We haven’t used it with the actual baby in it yet… ๐Ÿ™‚ But so far we love it.

Everyone complains about the wheel pins but we had no trouble at all. Yes you may need pliers.

We originally registered for the Graco Ben Stylus system but returned it for this one after we compared them in the store. I will say this one looks the most contemporary of all the stroller systems which is a plus.

  26. Jackson's Mom on April 14th, 2010 at 12:00 am

After searching everywhere and testing/playing with just about every stroller we could find, this is the best one! It is light, easy to fold, not bulky like most travel systems. It will fit into a small trunk easily. Very strudy and well built. Can’t wait to use it when he arrives in late June!

  27. jerseymom on April 14th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This travel system was way better than the one we original chose. I enjoy the fact it is light and was easy to put together. We had no need for pliers when put it together. The colors are perfect for a boy or girl and I liked that it rates well.

  28. Mommy to be on April 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I absolutely loved this product. It is beautiful, comfy, and looks like it will do a great job protecting my baby. Unfortuntely, when I tried to install it into my car (a Honda Civic with a pretty roomy backseat), it was too large to then accommodate a passenger in the front seat. I am very disappointed, but looks like I’ll be trading this in for a smaller model.

  29. lucy707 on April 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

My husband and I spent several hours "test driving" strollers, travel systems and car seats at various stores. We weren’t constrained by budget, so we wanted to get whatever stroller felt best to us. The Aerolite LX was a considerable step up from the majority of the other travel systems – I LOVE the car seat and the airprotect side cushions, and the way it snapped in and out of the stroller was so much more intuitive and easier than 90% of the other travel systems. After much debate, we ordered the Aerolite LX online and were eager to receive.Once it arrived, it didn’t take long to put together at all. (I do recommend using pliers just for dexterity when putting the pins in the back wheels, but other than that it was pretty straightforward). However, once assembled, we noticed something that we are worried may become a problem: the space between the snack tray and the seat is VERY low/small. This won’t affect an infant, but once you have a toddler, I am worried that this may become very uncomfortable for little legs to fit under the tray. If you look at other strollers in comparison, the trays are much higher and leave a lot more leg room underneath on the other strollers than the Aerolite LX[…]

  30. A. Ross - 2nd time around mom on April 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I haven’t had the baby yet, but I can’t stop looking at the stroller! It’s sleek and stylish, and I love the material. No there are no color other color options, but this stroller is unisex. Baby blue and brown are the "it" colors right now. I’m sure the baby will love it as much as mommy and daddy does! We eyed this stroller about 2 weeks ago, and finally got it. The stroller is a bit heavy, but that should not detour anyone, plus after the baby I’ll need the extra exercise! ๐Ÿ™‚

  31. bbs0810 on April 25th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Just an FYI on the ‘no leg room’ post. I appreciated the post when I first read it, as I had my heart set on this stroller and then read that and was concerned! The good news is that when I went to look at it the second time, the guy at the store was able to show us that the tray lifts up so the child can be put in and taken out without the worry of his/her feet getting tangled up in the leg holes! I was very relieved to find this out and wanted to post because I have seen people on other sites worried about the leg room issue as well!

Our baby isn’t due until August but I am so excited to use this stroller! The colors are great and the car seat is very plush compared to others we have seen. The stroller is light and seems easy to fold up and put away.

  33. Excited Momma Sept 10! on May 2nd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I saw this in the store when I was doing my registry and fell in love! Luckily I recieved it as an early shower gift from my grandparents and was soo excited that we put it together right away! It was a very easy set up (minus the pins that got a bit tricky). After reading others reviews about this product I decided to do a little bit of testing myself. I have a 2002 Grand Prix (4-door) and I will say that trying to get the base set up in the car was a bit difficult at first but once we got it in it fits perfectly! If you have a smaller back seat make sure you are trying it in the middle which is the safest place for it anyway. After that test I decided to get my almost three year old niece into the stroller and see if she fit ok. Many people were complaining of the small amount of leg room between the seat and the tray but she had no problem getting in and out and being comfy!
I cannot wait to have my little one in September so that I can actually use this system, I really think that it will be a great fit for us!

my baby isnt due till october but i saw this stroller at babiesrus and i couldnt wait to get it online since there was a sale for 20% off. i love the color and the look.. i cant wait for my baby to be born so he or she can be in it..

  35. Tyfani on May 8th, 2010 at 12:00 am

My husband and I spent over an hour in the store testing out every stroller and car seat combo Babies R Us offered. This one was by far the best. It folds up easily, and the car seat latches easily to the stroller. It doesn’t tip and is safe, which is the most important aspect. We got this as an early gift and can’t wait for our son to get here in July so we can start using it!

  36. New Mommy on May 11th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I went to the store tested alot and found this one had everything i wanted except when it came to the leg room comapared to the graco there is litterly no room. although the tray does snap open to fit them in im afraid there wont be enough room with thier legs rubbing against the plastic. this system looks very well made and has great colors but the leg room was a deal breaker for me. i noticed almost all saftey 1st strollers are like this. I hope they come up with a better design. Another thing that could be upgraded was the storage space nxt to the cup holders its cheap material and while i was testing it at the store the whole piece fell off.

  37. New Jersey Mommy on May 15th, 2010 at 12:00 am

we have been using the car seat for about four weeks since the birth of our son. the car seat is very heavy, my son was born almost 9 lbs & he is now at 10lbs & with baby weight- the car seat is incredibly heavy for me, my husband has a hard time carrying it. We bought the baby trend snap & go that is how i am able to get around with the baby. we have not used stroller yet. (its a little difficult to install back wheels in stroller) The car seat seems very sturdy & strong which is the most important reason why we choose it. its also really large-we have a big truck, so its ok.. we bought this for its safety feature & it seems very solid & safe so I am really happy with it for this reason. But if you had to carry your baby around all the time it may be hard as this is a heavy car seat..

  38. Sylvia on May 16th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Love the stroller so far. It has a smooth ride for my baby and he loves it. We spend 1 hour in the store with him trying out the stroller combo with him and he cried but with this one he liked it. I love that it has a side air impact for my baby.

  39. First time mommy in October! on May 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Well first i want to say LOVE the whole system. One my husband and i got it home could not wait to put it together. As i put it together i noticed small defects. One being the awning of the carrier is very cheap and does not want to work properly and second there was plastic piece burned in to the awning of the stroller. There is not a hole but spending that much you would hope it better be perfect. So i am just in limbo if i want to go exchange it. But I do love it! so gender neutral since we still do not know what we are having and want to make sure it last for more then one child.

  40. Kristen on May 18th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This system seems great so far. I will say that putting it together was pretty easy until we got to the back wheels.. It took my husband and I a good 30 min. to get those pins in. Also, doesn’t leave much room for the front seat passenger in our Nissan Altima. But other than that it seems very sturdy, safe and stylish! Stroller folds up and down fairly easy and fits well in our trunk leaving space for other things. Baby is due in July.. Wish us luck!

  41. Expectant mommy on May 19th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I bought this product online and after reading several reviews about there not being enough leg room I decided to investigate. I took my 2 1/2 year old niece to the local Babys R Us and put her in it. She had plenty of leg room & there was even room for me to stick my hand in between her leg and the top of the tray. She loved it soo much she didnt want to get out!!! I’m not due til the end of June but I cant wait it use this for my little prince!!

  42. baberuthless on May 22nd, 2010 at 12:00 am

this is the best choice we found after an hour or so in babies r us!! i love the fact that the carseat just doesnt sit on the stroller with a lil pull and its off but it latches and clamps its actually very reassuring that my prince will not fall or jolt side to side when i hit a bump..i love it..its also the easiest to fold with ONE HAND! trust me if i can do it anyone can!and for the other reviewers saying that the back wheels are hard to put on yea a tad bit..and for the other reviewer that said this was a "gender neutral" DEFINITELY NOT this is a very masculine system nothing about it says feminine..but all in all i love this system …oh and not good for a lil car it its a full size system..

  43. 1st Time Mommy on May 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

Great carseat but ***BUYER BEWARE*** Take into consideration what kind of vehicle you have this was made for a luxury car, van or SUV. We have a 2005 4 door Neon and a 4 door 2002 Saturn and it doesn’t fit in the backseats unless the front seats are positioned all the way up to the dashboard! (even if you try to install it in the middle back seat) I registered for this item and was thrilled when I received it and seen it’s sturdy construction and great fabric… although I cannot use it!! My husband and I just assumed it would fit so we threw out the box and the reciept…definitely double check to see if it fits in your car!!!

  44. New Mom on June 1st, 2010 at 12:00 am

This is an amazing Travel system, the only downside is that the car seat is a little big, but that is when you choose between leg room or a car seat that gives your little one a little extra leg room! I am always on the go and to get the baby in and out of the car takes under 5 minutes! The bigger wheels are also nicer! I live around a lot of cobblestone and the shock system seems to work pretty well too. I would definately buy this product again!

When I first got the system I absolutely loved it. The colors are adorable for my little boy. His daddy even liked it. The stroller was relatively easy to assemble. The carseat is a snap to adjust. And baby feel asleep as soon as we started moving which makes me think he’s okay with it too. However, after 6 week of regular use I do have a few complaints. The carseat is very heavy (and my baby still only weighs 7.5lbs) and very cumbersome. We have learned to park near the cart returns when we go shopping so we don’t have to carry him far. Also the stroller seems to ride a little rough, and unfolding it isn’t really possible unless you have both hands free, but it is pretty easy to fold down single handedly.

My husband and I fell in love with this stroller and car seat the first time we saw it, the colors are great seemed to be very safe I love the idea of the air protect system. I can’t wait to use it, 13 more days and I will see my baby boy in it.

I had read reviews of were the car seat does not fit into small cars. When i tried to fit it in my car for the first time i could not get it to fit either. I took it back to babies R us […] I brought it back home and tried it out again and it fits in perfectly!.

I’ve been stalking this set since I first started visiting Babies R Us when I first found out I was pregnant. I thought it was beautiful, well made, and neutral. The chocolate and teal color combo is gorgeous, much better in person than online. The fabric is very heavy and well constructed. I put it together yesterday at 9 months pregnant. It really wasn’t that hard. You do need to use pliers for the back wheels, other than that it is SUPER simple! It only took me about 15 minutes or less to assemble the stroller. I love the fact that I can fold the stroller up with one hand, so easy. I also like that it stands upright all on its own.It is very easy to rethread the carseat straps. As a first time parent that was something that I’ve been scared would be difficult to do…but it really isn’t on this carseat. I like that you can adjust the angle of the carseat base with one button. I like the fact that I can keep the baby rear-facing for a while longer than most other infant seats which only go up to 22lbs, while this one goes up to 35lbs. My family tends to have larger babies that reach 18 pounds in the first 3-4 months, so this was an important feature for me. I also like that it is much more padded when you compare to most other carseats on the market. Go to BRU and squeeze the padding in the head area of this and other carseats you will instantly see the difference. The only negative about the infant seat is that it is quite heavy, but I guess you have to expect that since it has much more leg room than other carseats and that’s why a baby can stay in it up to 35lbs.I only gave it 4 stars because I’m not sure yet how the end user (the baby) will like it yet. I’m sure he or she will be very comfortable though.

i love this stroller. its easy to use, when pushing it it glides smoothly. i put my son in my friends car seat to see the difference, his feet were almost hanging out and his head was to far up. but with this stroller he has plenty of room to grew into. and the color is great. I’ve got many compliments.

I was so impressed with the quality and apparent safety of this stroller and the carseat, I actually bought the set online after owning the […] version of the safety 1st travel system, and being unhappy with the rear strap adjustments. I have a 6 month old and have been looking for a carseat with straps that you can adjust in the front, as well as a 35 lb rating. I planned to return the […] set, but when we took this beautiful new set out on its inaugural walk, I noticed that the handles are uncomfortably low. I am 5"11" and my husband is 6’1" and both of us can only push the stroller with our fingertips. We measured and the other set we have, and it is a full 2 inches taller in the handle area. In addition, in the Pegasus set, the baby is set much lower to the ground when the car seat is engaged in the stroller, so you have to bend down pretty far to attend to the child. What a bummer! Now I have 2 safety 1st travel systems, and am not happy with either one! This set would be perfect for someone who was under 5’9" or who has really long arms……

Very easy to put together (simply adding the wheels). Very user-friendly and easy to clean. Very happy w/ our purchase.

After reading the reviews online, i decided to go and purchase the travel system and glad that i did, my son was born 2 months early and had to stay in the nicu and wanted something that he can be safe in…price did not matter! he passed his car seat test, with slight adjusting he fits perfectly into the car seat and looks safe and i feel worry free! I would highly recommend this product for preemie moms, to take some stress off about your baby being safe.

  54. addysmommy on June 25th, 2010 at 12:00 am

the carseat and base fit comfortably in my 4 door mercury sable car. so if you have a similar sized car it should fit fine. I assembled the stroller with little trouble in about 20 mins. the pins for the back tires were a bit tricky, i used my car key and it popped right into place. adjusting the height of the shoulder straps is super easy, the stroller rolls smooth, (tried it on carpet lol) im impressed with everything so far. its an idiot proof system in my opinion. im having a girl in july and i think the color is fine for a girl. its a nice aqua/teal and brown, and i know my husband wont be embarassed to push it around. i think the stroller is a good height, im 5’3, but my husband is 6’0 so we will have to see how he likes it. overall i highly recommend so far!

After having checked with Consumer Reports, my wife and I had decided to go with the Graco Stylus Travel System. However, when we went to the store to purchase we noticed how the car seat didn’t feel safe when attached to the stroller. If too much weight was applied to the head side of the carrier while in the stroller, the foot side would be raised high enough so that an infant could fall out the back (and on its head). We went down the aisle shaking all the car seat/carriers and noticed that all but a few had that problem. The only brands that had a secure lock and minimum movement were the Chicco & Safety 1st models. Because the Chicco ones were out of our price range, we decided to concentrate on the Safety 1st. As we were testing it out (how it rolls, folds, weight, etc.) a man with the exact same stroller came down the aisle, pushing his 5 mo. old daughter. He noticed what we were doing and gave us all the info we could ever ask for. He said when he bought his he did the exact same thing, testing how secure the carrier was to the stroller. Long story short, he said he and his wife loved it and they highly recommended it.

Suffice to say, we bought it and took it home. It was easy to assemble and very good looking. We have two months until baby comes and then the real test begins. Right now I would say we are very happy with it. If anything changes after the baby comes I will post another review, but so far so good.

After some research and checking out tons of systems at several stores, this was the best product we found.

I love that it will rear face my daughter up to 35lbs. That was a huge selling point.
The stroller was a bonus, as the whole system is light compared to others we found. I can lift the stroller into the trunk with no problems, where as with others, they were too heavy.
Also, the basket under the stroller is easy to access whereas on others it was a tight squeeze.

I haven’t had any problems with any part of this product yet.

  57. Mom on the Go on July 4th, 2010 at 12:00 am

It took me awhile to find a carseat big enough for my son… He is 3 months old and already measures 26 inches long and weighs 18 lbs. He is our lil monster! This stroller is perfect for larger than average babies! Very comfy and Very classy Colors are more vibrant in person! Love the slide gaurd, it makes me feel extra safe when strolling with baby! Needless to say I bought him a graco snugride first which did work well for the first 3 months But Now… his legs hang off the edge, and the stroller does not have a slip gaurd as this one does… wish I would have had the forsight to purchase this one first But am glad to have it now! Note: carseat is on the large side But it would have to be bigger to accomodate my large baby

  58. Mom of 3 on July 5th, 2010 at 12:00 am

My husband and I have always bought Graco carseat travel systems with our older two and thought we would try this one because it seemed so padded and comfortable. Also, you could use it until they reached 35 pounds. We love it so far. My son is only 4 months old and weighs 16 pounds and is 25.5 inches long. My only complaint is when he grows just a little bit more his shoulders are not going to fit. And he is not even on the top insert for the shoulder belt. If i would have known this i would have not paid [$] for my son to be in this seat for only 6 months!

  59. RiverGoddess on July 7th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I have been admiring this set since April and I finally got it this weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚ I just put it together last night, and my cat has already checked it out a dozen times, and took a nap in it too. ๐Ÿ™‚ It took me longer to get it out of my car than it did to put together. I’ve got a smaller car and how it got put into my car, the widest part of the stroller got stuck between the door and the frame so I had to take everything out of the box in order to get it out. Which wasn’t that big of a deal. And I didn’t even try the wheel pins without pliers, and I’m SO glad I did. Haven’t installed the seat yet so I can’t say how that fits like others have. But beyond that I’m in love!!! It’s soft and smooth and if the cat loves it I’m sure Baby will too. ๐Ÿ™‚ It is a little bit heavy – though my strength has gone out the window over the last 9 months so it could be either end on that one. But I’d much rather a little extra weight to know that should anything happen my baby will be safe! And the height is prefect for me! My arms are at a comfortable level with it – not too low, not too high but just right. I’m 5’6, so take that into consideration. Definately test drive one at a BRU near you today!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

My husband and I were impressed by the other reviews and overall look of this travel system. After using it for 6 weeks I find it to not be user friendly at all however. The car seat is extremely heavy and it is very large. Most car seats will fit in the top part of a shopping cart – not this one – it’s too big. I wanted a car seat that was safe, but I need it to fit my needs as well. I will say that the car seat is very cushioned and comfortable for my baby. It is just way too big and heavy. I will be looking for a new system that I can actually carry and take into the store. If I were going to buy a car seat that only stayed in the car I would not have bought a travel system.

  61. B. on July 12th, 2010 at 12:00 am

After reading almost every web sites reviews and watching the companies video’s this is the travel system to get. I am writing this to let people know that have small cars, the car seat does fit in the back seat. We own a 2003 & 2004 Neon. We read a review that the seat doesn’t fit even with the vehicle seats clear up to the front. Not true. Someone was buying it for us so we checked it out and it fits just fine with the vehicle seats as far back as the will go.

  62. Tristen's Mom on July 15th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We had an 8.8 lb baby boy 6 weeks ago, and this carseat with him in it is HEAVY! I’ve already had to remove all the inserts (head support, body support) because he’s outgrown them. The carseat is also big and bulky and barely fits the backseat of my Ford Focus. You can’t place it on top of the shopping cart, it must go in the basket. We’ve found ourselves taking him out of it rather than transporting him in the carseat. I do, however, love the stroller. It folds very easily and is fairly compact and light weight. The back tires are wide though, and I have ran into several doorways! The back of the stroller does not fully recline either, which means my 6 wk old must sit up part way when not in his carseat. Overall, I probably would not buy this system again!

  63. Momsie on July 19th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I’m a first time mom so I’m very picky what baby’s going to use. I love this Travel system! Sure its bulky and heavy but you can tell that it’s going to last and felt the assurance my baby’s going to be safe and protected. Besides, its very convenient instead of buying a separate carseat, carbase and stroller. It’s 3-1 and my baby can still use it as he grows older.

  64. VancesMommy on July 22nd, 2010 at 12:00 am

Love everything about this travel system wouldnt change a single thing.

  65. 1st Time Mom on July 22nd, 2010 at 12:00 am

After going to BRU and testing / comparing this travel system with the Chicco the Safety 1st had so many better features. First, I am not able to put my little on in the middle seat so I am happy with the side impact safety features of this seat. Other reviews say this seat is large and heavy I found the opposite. I held this seat in one hand and the Chicco in my other… this seat was by far lighter. I also found it was easier to reach over the stroller handle and access the baby than the Chicco. Finally, the canopies on this system are larger and will provide more shade than other systems… very important in the AZ sun! My husband used pliers as recommended when assembling the wheels and had no problems. Love this system and have already recommended to my friends who are expecting. Worth the money!!

  66. JPPRESLEY on July 28th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I had gone to BRU to test out some other travel systems that I had researched and found this one instead… I knew right then and there that this was/is THE ONE! I am a first time mother and had no prior experience with anything b-a-b-y. My son was on the smaller scale when born (5.10lbs/18in) and the carseat accommodated his size without any issues. He is now going on 2 months and I couldn’t imagine utilizing another system and/or where we’d be without it.

    COMPLAINTS:
-the folding structure; Be very careful when trying to wheel it while folded up – It WILL run the handle against the concrete! I found out the hard way the first time we put it to use and now we have a heavy scratch on the handle bar. I’ve buffed most of it out, but it wasn’t a great first time experience.
-the wide hind wheels; which cause me to run into doorways and my own feet.
-the basket is a very convenient feature. Although, I have to pretty much squat down for access and with a 6’3 Husband… Well, you can imagine…
-the size of the carseat+base is a bit of a nusense: We have a compact vehicle and both our front seats are angled almost completely verticle and moved straight forward.
-some (very little) of the detailing of the material is poor. For $300+, I’d expect a little more.
-when inspecting the "air technology," I was quite suprised to find that the "air bags" were merely two pieces of foam – left me questioning this breakthrough technology (which has it’s arguements since this is the "race car seat" of all baby carseats).

All-in-all, this is a very worthy travel system that worked very well for us and not only would I recommend this to others, but my cousin (who discovered this great product with me) will be getting one as well!

  67. Jesse on July 30th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This is my first child and I was unsure what I was getting into looking at car seats. After narrowing down my search to the Safety 1st and two other travel systems I ended up purchasing the Safety 1st. There are so many more features that make it the safest as possible. If you are afraid it is going to be to heavy I recommend taking the Safety 1st Car Seat and holding it at the same time as another car seat that you are considering. I found that the Safety 1st was actually much lighter than the other 2 systems’ that I was considering. I have a very large SUV so I can’t comment on how it fits in the back seat of a smaller vehicle but in my vehicle it fits extremely well and installation was a sinch. This travel system is very much worth the money! My husband also used the plyers as recommended by the instructions and it was much easier putting the tires on the system.

  68. Preemie Mom on August 5th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I had my baby 15 weeks early. She weighed 1 pound 5 ounces and naturally when deciding how to bring her home, my husband and I did a lot of research. We liked that the minimum weight was lower (about 4 pounds)than most other travel systems. It has built in positioners/supporters for both the head and body that are removable when your child grows. It also has a heavier maximum weight than most travel systems and is longer so my daughter can stay in it and face backwards longer. I love the large basket and use it all the time. It folds up easily and stores easily in the cargo space of my SUV. I would highly recommend this product to all parents.

  70. Southern Grace on August 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We are first time parents and I really love the looks of this car seat/stroller and so we got and for the most part love it! I really like the stroller our son is 5 weeks old and he goes right to sleep in the car seat once we get him in it! It makes for a peaceful ride however he is hot natured so we have to keep the air in the car pumped up because he gets really hot in the car seat and also the handle on the car seat keeps getting suck….I hope it doesn’t brake anytime soon! But the stroller is GREAT it rolls really good, which i suggest you test the wheels on the stroller out in the store first before you buy it. Don’t be shy! Over all this is a great travel system! Also it’s really easy to take the cover off and wash it if you need too and it’s easy to put in your car which can be hard to do for first time parents!

  71. changed mind on August 18th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Well, I ordered this online the other day after reading the reviews… Got it today, and will be bringing it back. My daughter is 2 1/2 months old(and not very big), and the body supports already do not fit. The car seat is MUCH more narrow than my Graco SafeSeat, and they have basically the same weight raiting. The awning on the car seat is already bent and does not come back to rounded. I can see that happening with use, but that is out of the box, brand new. The awning on the stroller has several places on it that have marks that apprear to be similar to rub/wear marks. Again, with time, understandable, but not new, out of the box. Other that that, the stroller seems to roll nicely, and the basket seems user friendly. Definately more teal than gray, like the picture looks. I will be driving the 2 hours to the store and exchanging it for the Chicco Luna, which is what I was going to get in the first place!

  72. First time mommy on August 18th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I first had the "Oh" system, but our baby boy was growing in weight faster than we expected, so the weight limit on the "Oh" was a concern! The "Pegasus" has a higher weigh limit than other systems which means we can use it longer. It is big, but feel so much safer and is sturdier than the less expensive systems which now feel flimsy in comparison. It is heavy, but hey, it’s another thing helping me get a workout when I don’t have time to exercise to get rid of the baby weight! The stroller is smooth and spacious and has been with me everywhere! We are going to use it for our next baby, so the investment is well worth it! Nothing bad to say at all!

I am expecting my 5th child. Easy to assemble, easy to use, very stylish, very sturdy, fits great in my subruban and VW golf. Out of all my stollers I have had in the past with my 4 older children, this is by far, my favorite. LOVE IT!

  74. Jennifer-2nd time mom after 10 years on August 24th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This combo is very nice looking. Haven’t used it yet due to baby being born in Feb. And I think it’s very gender neutral. The stroller was very easy to put together. I was able to do it myself. The only con is due to the fact that the car seat is bigger so you can use it longer, it barely fits in my car. I drive a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid. And the passenger seat has to be pushed all the way to the front to fit the car seat behind it. But I only drive the car during the week, so I normally dont have passengers. But the product is worth the money, and is very cute.

Love this product. Initally liked the colors alot and went to see it in the store and thought it was a great product after talking to the sales associate. When our son did arrive he was about 5 pd 14 ounces and he fit perfect in the car seat and he is growing with it great. The only thing I did not like was the strollers front wheels and back wheel are different so I got stuck a few times assuming the back was like the front. but overall am happy with my purcahse

THE SEAT COMES BUUILT AND THE FRONT WHEELS AS WELL, BUT THE BACK WHEELS ARE VERY DIFFICULT BECAUSE U HAVE TO PUT THESE LITTLE PINS ON THEM AND THEY ARE VERY HARD TO GET IN. I am not sure how many other may have experienced this, but I was very disappointed with this system. In the store I loved it, but when we got it out of the box the sun shade on the infant car seat was very flimsy. One side would pull forward, the other would stick. In addition the plastic on the side that sticks looked very stressed, not sure how long it would have lasted once the baby arrived. I still really liked the system otherwise so I thought maybe this problem was specific to my carrier. I returned the original for another of the same system, but when we got it out of the box it had the same problem. I know the shade is not going to affect the safety of this product, but in my opinion if you are spending this much on a travel system it should be in good working order out of the box. Reviews have been very helpful in my search for a new travel system so I just wanted to share my experience with this Safety 1st system so that it may help others too.

I BOUGHT THIS STROLLER SYSTEM BECAUSE IT SEEMED TO BE THE SAFEST. I LOVE IT! THE ONLY THING THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY IT IS THE VISOR GETS IN THE WAY WHEN YOU TRY TO GET THE SEAT IN AND OUT OF THE TRUCK AND STROLLER.

  81. Amy on September 18th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I love this product. I read another review that said it was too big and it wouldn’t fit in her dodge neon ( it said she had to move her seats to fit it in). While the car seat is a bit bigger then some, I have a Dodge neon and have no problem fitting in in my car in the middle seat……..where it’s suppose to be!!!. I love the safety features of this product the most! It’s nice and sturdy and my baby seems to be comfortable in it as it keeps her head from falling to the side…..Not to mention I love how spiffy it looks. Someone on the reviews said it was too boyish looking for a girl but I disagree. I love the color for my little girl the light greenish color to me can go either way. I gave it 4 stars because the car seat is a bit large as well as the stroller is bulky. But all in all I love it…oh and the stroller is easy to take up and down. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  82. first time mommy on September 20th, 2010 at 12:00 am

The stroller is awesome … yes the pins for the back wheels are a little difficult when putting but if you use tweasers it’s fine. Love the colors, carrier cushion is very easy to take off/on and wash. My issue is the carrier is big, bulky and heavy. My son is 17lbs and if I don’t have my husband with me to hold the carrier sometimes I don’t bother getting it down. Other then that it’s a good product and the stroller is awesome!

  83. New mamma to a precious baby boy on September 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I love the way this travel system looks. But after using it with my son, I have realized that the straps from the harness dig into his legs leaving red lines across his little thighs. It isn’t because the straps are too tight, because the only way to prevent it from happening is for it to be EXTREMELY loose. My son is also not a super chubby baby and this has happened even when he was smaller and his legs were smaller.

I am disappointed that we spent this much money on this product.

It’s not all about looks folks – I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

  84. First time mom on October 5th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We loved this travel system in the store – the fabric is tasteful, substantial feeling, and gender neutral; the carrier snaps into the base and stroller well; the stroller maneuvers easily; and the storage basket is accessible and functional. It’s a very nice travel system.
However, when my husband tried to put the carrier and base in our cars, he found that it would not fit at all in his Toyota Corolla and it was a very tight fit in my Subaru Forester. Lifting and sucessfully docking the oversized carrier in the Subaru was very awkward and would only be exponentially more difficult with an infant actually in the carrier. Babies R Us (which was, incidentally, awesome about the return of an unpackaged, assembled product) said that it’s one of the largest carriers out there and that this is a common problem with the system.

Bottom line: It’s a great system if you have a large car. Try it out in your car before you buy it.

  85. Nanny on October 8th, 2010 at 12:00 am

My daughter and son-in-law bought this travel system for their little boy. It is so easy to handle…the car seat goes in and out of the base and stroller with little effort. The best part of this system is the stroller. You can open and close the stroller with one hand and the it is lightweight. I have used stroller systems where I could not get the stroller to open at all!!!! This is GREAT!!!

  86. Mandy on October 11th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I love the system, love the colors but the two downfalls i have are:
I Have a SUV and i have to push the back of my driver seat in a straight up position because the car seat it too long. it just doesnt fit right. and the second problem i have with it is one set of the front wheels fell off the very first use. when i put the wheels onto the legs and tried it out in the house it was fine. something had snapped. to this day cant figure it out. its only been 3 weeks. well i bought the warranty on it when we bought it and they sent us a merchandise credit card. well when i went to order a new stroller they dont have the Pegasus by it self. you have to order a new system which i dont need, of the same type stroller but different colors. well im sorry to say i want all the colors to be the same. i paid over 300.00 for it, i want it my way.. all the other systems that are the same just different colors have the individual strollers you can purchase..

  87. Practical Mom on October 14th, 2010 at 12:00 am

The only issue we have is that we cannot fit it in our cars comfortably. We put it behind the passenger seat and the passenger is kissing the dash board, and in the middle, everyone is kissing the dash board. We went to the car dealership last night and tested it in multiple large SUVs and same problem. The only car it fit in comfortably was the Minivan. We decided it was cheaper to buy a new carseat then a new Minivan. I however, found another car I want that a new carseat will fit in great!!!

This is a very good stroller. However, imagine our surprise after putting it together that we came to find out that the braking mechanisms do not actually lock. We’re still looking for a work around, but it is very annoying that we can’t leave the stoller unattended on even a slight hill

This product is beautiful and the safety ratings are wonderful! I am very happy with the product overall but Safety 1st should have tried to put the seat in a variety of cars first. I drive an 8 passanger SUV whcih is not a small car and my front seat has to be pushed all the way up for the car seat to fit in the backseat. It is great that you can get extra bases both grandmothers bought one but the car seat is too big to fit in Lexus cars and SUVs with out pushing the front seat up so far no one can sit in it.

The quality and design are beautiful but the measurments are awful!

At the beginning I was in love with the stroller. I liked the fabric much better than the other strollers, since it feels a lot softer than others. Also, its carseat has a better cushion on the sides which I liked.
Now that I am actually using it, it’s been a major disappointment. The baby absolutely hates it. He gets very hot in the carseat, but by reading the ratings on other strollers I think the it might be the same complain with others. What really bothers me are the back wheels. The back wheels are wider than the front wheels, so I keep getting
stuck everywhere, specially in narrow places or in the mall. The handle to close sometimes is very hard making it difficult to close. At the beginning it was very hard to align the carseat to the stroller to have it attached, now after two months of use is getting better.
I could keep going on and on about this product flaws, but I’m just leaving it there. I really recommend you ‘test drive’ the stroller around strore isles before making a decision.

This Stroller is so comfortable and easy to handle. My Husband taught me how to handle it in a matter of 5 minutes. Easy to open, close & operate. Installing car seat was a piece of cake as well. I just Love it!!!

I’ve told two ppl not to buy this system, simply because the car seat is very heavy, and add a 13lb baby to that, that’s a heavy load. Also, as the other reviewers said, I have to push the front passenager seat all the way to the front to get my baby in or out. I wish I had lifted the seat in the store to see it. I think ppl are misreading the "Areolite" and think that the system is light. Its not!!

I love the look of the travel system. The stroller is light and easy to set up. However, the carseat portion is soooooooo heavy! I can barely carry it by myself. My baby is only six months and is under 17 pounds. Also, because of the lack of shoulder room, I have to purchase a new car seat already, when it’s supposed to hold 35 pounds. Also, the stroller does not sit up all the way so my baby is laying back more when he just wants to sit up.

Most of the comments I have read have talked about how large and bulky the car seat is, but if you want it to hold your baby at least until he/she is 1 year old you need it! Yes, the car seat is larger than others but I feel confident my baby will be safer in a rear facing car seat until he’s at least 1 year old. Other car seats barely hold a child past 6 months but this one will last for a VERY long time! My son was also born preemie and when we brought him home at 4 pounds I was very happy the car seat adjusted to fit him. Besides, for parents who are complaining about how the seat doesn’t fit behind their seats, you shouldn’t be putting a child under 1 year old next to a door anyway…[…]! It’s much safer to put your child in the middle of the backseat; I drive a VERY small Saturn and have no problems fitting the car seat in the middle…it’s safer for my child anyway!

We have trouble with getting the car seat off the base usually takes about three tries the latch gets stuck. We also have a problem with closing the stroller we squeeze the handle and it gets stuck.
