Great stroller! I love this stroller and have no complaints. The stroller at first was very hard to figure out because the instructions are horrible. With patience and practice you will learn and appreciate that you purchased this item. The material in the stroller is very good. You really get your monies worth with this one! It’s very light and it comes with many accessories which will save you $$$ such as the rain plastic cover and cup holder.
I also have the matching car seat which at first I had trouble removing. I went to a baby store which sells this same item and the person there showed me and it’s very simple.

I love this stroller, this is definitely high end. So comfortable. It might be a little heavy for you as a mom, buuut, it is worth it. My baby loves it since he was born. We got the peg perego car seat that you can use with the same stroller frame, so if he is sleeping and you are going on a quick stroller ride, you can leave the baby on the car seat. If your ride is longer… Use the skate seat, which is awesome…It faces either backwards or forward; it is a baby’s bassinet and a seat (infant-toddler), all in one. My baby is eight months old and when he takes a nap, he still fits on the bassinet position, and my baby is on the 90% percentile. It comes with a roller coaster kind of bar which he loves, because he can hold from there with his little hands in order to look around with security and support. The best thing, its rain cover, wow, I love going shopping, and rain won’t stop me, because I can still go with my baby to my favorite street mall without concerns. It runs so smooth, that’s why it got its name "Skate". I love using it for my older kids activities (park, trails, soccer games, etc). It even comes with an air pump (bicycle kind) for keeping your tires well inflated. I wish this stroller existed with my previous child. You will love it!… And people will stop you in the street to ask you where did you get it.

really comforable for the baby. easy to adjust from bassinet to sitting up & facing mommy or forward, there’s so so many different seating positions to choose from… mostly, super easy to maneuver w/ 1 hand (opening doors etc…) this will grow with the child until he’s too big to be in a stroller!! it does take up a lot of the trunk (honda CR-V) because you have to take the seat off and then fold the carrier part and they stay seperated. I’m small and although people comment on how it looks big, i really dont think so and it’s not super heavy either. it may take 2-3 seconds more to put together opposed to a 1 piece stroller that unfolds. my cup holder also fell off but thats probably because of how it was sitting in the trunk.

Best stroller ever. this stroller is pretty heavy, that’s the only bad thing about it. but everything else is good. my daughter loves it. yes it is hard to figuring out the stroller. but i found a video online that explains how to use it.

For me this stroller says, "timeless not trendy!"Assembly: not bad at all if you use both directions and diagramsRides: beautifully, very sturdy and easy to maneuver, easy to fold/unfoldMaterials: durable and great qualityAesthetics: intelligent yet simple design, luxurious What I also like is that it is designed and manufactured in Italy unlike other luxury strollers designed in Europe[…]. I’ve been complimented on how the stroller looks, but bottom line: its functionality matches its beauty.

First let me say I read other reviews & they did warn that this stroller was Big.. But I figured it must’ve been an exaggeration.. besides how big can it be.. So I went against the grain & had to see for myself… I will admit this stroller does deserve 3 1/2 maybe 4 stars, because it does have the bassinet option, the child seat that allows the child to face you or outward & recline to 3 different positions with an amazing canopy, & an adaptable car seat option. However due to its monstrosity & weight I just simply can’t! It is very pretty in person however it is SO BIG that I feel almost awkward pushing this thing down the street… In addiction I was left to believe that this had a bassinet that converted into a seat, which was their one up over Bugaboo when in fact there are Two separate pieces.. just like the bugaboo, which means stroller pieces all over the place. Living in NY space is limited whether it be in stores, restaurants, sidewalks or even in your home! so If this is an issue for you as well & you have to go up any steps this is NOT the stroller for you…. Aside from it being big, it’s HEAVY!! However if you have space & live on a ground floor & drive an SUV (because a regular trunk won’t cut it) go for it.. It rides like butter & it’s very attractive..

My husband and I were torn between the Bugaboo Cameleon and The Skate. After months of research, we went with the Skate and we are SO SO SOOOO HAPPY. You get so much more with it, and it’s a much more comfortable ride for the baby. The bassinet inclines so that the baby can sit up a little more, and the toddler seat is padded much softer than the Bugaboo. This stroller literally SKATES across the floor, so smooth. We tested out all kinds of strollers from Graco, Chicco all the way to the Bugaboo. And nothing compares to the smooth ride of the Skate, and the stylish appearance. Thank you Peg Perego!!!

This stroller is bulky but so easy to use. The two separate pieces allow the versatility of using a bassinet (which has a bassinet stand in case you choose to clip it into the stand in order to keep the baby near you at night) and later allowing your child to use the carriage.
The Peg car seat clicks into the frame for even easier travel around town.
I would definitely recommend this to parents who have space for such a large stroller.

I have the 2009 version of the Skate… which like the previous poster thought, does CONVERT from a seat to a bassinet, which is one of the reasons I LOVE this stroller. It can stroll right up to a table at a restaurant and there is no need for a highchair! My son has always slept easily in this stroller and when he is awake he loves that he is up in the action. I have a car and it fits easily in the trunk, although it would be easier to slide into the back of a SUV. They have some great attachments and I am getting the jumper seat now that I am expecting again. I also use this as a jogger by locking the front wheels and as my everyday stroller.

  12. Bev on October 8th, 2010 at 12:00 am

The deal breaker for this stroller was the new Jumper seat that you can attach to the frame. We have a 3 year and are expecting another in December. Our 3 year old still sits in a stroller so we were debating on buying a regular double stroller, but we knew she wouldn’t be using it for very long since she is getting so big. I love how you have the option of the stroller being a single or double stroller. I’ve tested it out and my daughter actually doesn’t mind taking the backseat, she actually loves it. Can’t wait for baby to get here so we can use it all the time.

I love this stroller! It is easy to ride, transform, fold or unfold. Yes, it is a little heavy when you lift it to trunk, but not when you ride it. Also, I read some people saying that it won’t fit to sedan trunk….It’s just NOT true. Me and my husband have both(SUV and sedan) and have no problem relocating with this stroller. It is comfortable and stylish! My child loves sleep in it.
