First off I will say this stroller seems like it is made well and all the parts seem high quality. That is about its only positive. First off it is very heavy, about 40lbs. Even my husband commented on its weight. Putting it together wasn’t to hard but opening it and closing it were difficult, it almost felt like I was going to break it. It is definitely not a one handed close. Once I got it together I was shocked at the size of the seat for the older child. Even with the front seat fully up there is hardly any room for the older child to sit. To have the infant seat in you must recline it which pretty much leaves no space for the older child. So they would most likely have to stand all the time. The umbrella is a joke. It hardly covers the front seat and it also felt like it was going to break when I tried to move it. I would have ended up taking it off. The basket underneath was also a disappointment. It was very small and there was a bar that went across it right near the opening under the older child’s seat which would cause problems when trying to get stuff in and out. Over all this stroller is a mess. I brought it back to the store and they let me return it even thought I had ordered it online which was great. We ended up getting the Baby Trend Sit and Stand LX which I must say is a million times better and a bit less expensive.

This is deffinitely a loaded sit and stand. All the features you have come to love with a full stroller with the capabilities of 2 kids however it is heavy and bulky. It does have the same size base as the baby trend sit and stand and is very long. It turns great and is easy to push but not compact at all. Colors and style beautiful!! Box came destroyed so I was worried when I opened it but in perfect condition on the inside. The canopy doesnt seem to work too good — it tends to fall off. The front seat is short but I think all the sit and stands are like this. My 6month old’s head is at the top already–not good for sleeping in. Plenty of room for the child in the back and the leaning bar with pad is definitely a plus–However I think I may return because I have no desire to drag this big stroller around every day. The weight not an issue it is the size of it when open. If you are looking at the baby trend I would definitely pay the extra and get this one instead due to all the features!!!!!

I bought this product online prior to seeing it because it sounded like it would work for an infant in a car seat and a 3 year old. The stroller was easy to assemble and had large wheels and a nice color of brown and green. I also liked that has a universal car seat adapter. When the front seat is reclined to hold a car seat it bumps the toddler sitting in the reat and leaves little room to sit. The canopy was stiff and difficult to move forward and backward. The sit and stand seat flips up, but there is nothing to secure it. When the sit and stand seat is slid all the way back it does not leave room for their feet and they must put their feet in front of them in the storage basket. The stroller could not be folded or unfolded with one hand and did not fold very compact. The canopy does not fold inside the stroller and sticks out the top making the stroller longer. The canopy was small. When my husband tried to fold it the foot rest came off. I like the snack holder in the front, but it would help to have a removable inside for cleaning.

Ok, so this is my initial review. I just received this stroller in the mail. I’ll write more after I use it a bit[…]assembly was easy. It’s by far the best sit and stand I’ve seen. It seems very padded and comfortable, in the front and back. The car seat will not attach properly without the front seat being in full recline, however, there was still enough room for my 3 year old to sit. (we have the graco snugride) I love how you can lift up the back seat to put a bag in the bottom storage compartment. It’s a little heavy, but seems easy enough to drive. The handle bar adjusts for shorter or taller persons. One random thing… when you are using the red strap to secure the car seat, it’s very hard to adjust the strap, you need to pull the strap apart to adjust it and then restrap it when you have the length you want. That’s all for now, I’m not attaching a picture, but trust me, it looks very NICE!!! You won’t be disappointed. I could see us using this for long trips such as the zoo, etc. with my toddler being comfortable.oh yeah: and the sunshade will not cover the back child (not a problem for me, but some kids are very sensitive to the sun).

Steers great! I can even push it w/ one had if I’m walking the dog too. My 2.5yr old loves to stand and my 6mo loves his seat too. He seems very comfortable and the car seat adaptor works great. It is heavy but that’s not a factor for me. The only down fall is the front wheels get in the way when I fold it up and the footrest pops off sometimes. I’m 5’7" and the handle height is fine for me but I could see if you were much taller you might be bending over to push it. Overall I love it and I’m very happy with my purchase. Also if your going to purchase this or any other item from babies r us, google a coupon code. It saved me $30.

Well, I haven’t exactly "used" this product yet, but I am very excited to do so! I am expecting our 2nd baby in August and this stroller will come in very handy when running around with my 3 year old and new baby! This stroller is beautiful. The colors aren’t exactly what is posted online – I actually like them better. It’s more of a brown/Black and khaki green rather than the medium brown and mint green that the picture portrays. It is very sturdy and turns on a dime. It was extremely easy to put together. All in all it took me about 10-15 minutes and I was done. My son loves the sit and stand feature and can’t wait to ride on it with his baby sister. The basket is a bit hard to get to, but from what I’ve seen, most of the sit and stand strollers are. One major complaint I have is the canopy. It doesn’t move forward or backward. You clip it on and that’s where it stays. My son is pretty tall for his age (41”) and the canopy is much too low for him to fit under. Also, the handle seems to sit pretty low, but I am 5’7”…this may not be an issue for other moms! I did tons of research on sit and stand strollers. Since there isn’t very much of a variety out there I had to narrow down the already narrow selection. I chose this stroller because of the rave reviews on other sites, the fact that it has suspension wheels, it is not black on black (too hot for us), I am able to use my existing Graco infant seat with this stroller – the stroller comes with the attachment bar for the infant seat, etc. I love this stroller. Like I said, I have yet to fully use it, but from playing around with it around home I think it will suit us perfectly.

So after reading countless reviews I decided I would give this stroller a try. Theres nothing great about it nor anything to bad. But in the end I think it comes down to what quality your use to. We first bought a travel system kind of cheep not well built. Then a BOB revolution stroller which is great, very sturdy, then a double kolcraft contours which was just a monster but built great. The Mia Moda reminds me most of the travel system, When my toddler wiggles the whole frame shakes back and forth (Very cheep). Made of a lot of plastic. The fabric is nice though, cup holder is great nice and deep, turns and rides very smoothly. Folding it is easy not one handed but really what double stroller is. I love that when it is folded you can use its wheels and don’t have to carry it. Canopy very cheep it feels like your going to break it, but maybe that loosens up over time?. The toddler set no longer locks in to place it slides back in forth, after about 5 uses. All in all I would not recommend to a friend and I would not have purchased if I had seen it in a store. But not having seen the Joovy ultra light either I will keep the stroller and use it till it breaks

Daughter loves it. Folds pretty easy. It is big but that’s what you get with a sit and stand. Lots of good features and better max weight than some of the others.

  10. More to come on July 16th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I bought this to replace my duoglider since my almost 3yr old doesn’t usually want to sit (but will stand)and my 9 month old hasn’t been in the infant carrier for a while…so I had this very heavy stroller w/only one kid in it. The sit n’stand seemed more functional, and I chose this one because of the style and comfort. I really like the colors (and just having the option of something that’s attractive) and the seats are well padded, front and back. I also wanted the parent AND child tray for drinks and snacks, and both are great! The canopy is annoying, but I don’t plan on using this for daily walks outside…more just for shopping/maybe Disney/Zoo. It is VERY heavy to lift, but it’s also sturdy. I really debated getting the Joovy Ultralight, however, it didn’t seem as sturdy and there wasn’t any padding for front child’s head, which I wanted. The pad on the back for the standing child is also a great feature. All-and-all, it’s a comfy, attractive stroller that folds/unfolds fairly easily (does require 2 hands). And you have to be able to lift the 30+ lbs in and out of your vehicle. […]

So far this is great, easy to open easy to close, assembly is easy, putting rear wheele axel on took a few trys, but I am def not the most handy person. Love the pattern and way it looks, materials are padded and comfortable, and my toddler keeps trying to climb into it and go for rides, so it seems that he enjoys it so far!

Decided to take a chance on a product with no review. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 2 week old. We were given a baby trend sit and stand stroller as a gift & had a Graco infant car seat from our 2 yr old. The Graco car seat would not fit with the stroller. This has a universal adapter (pretty much a seat belt) that will work with most models (check their website/email them for confirmation that it will work with your existing car seat.) I liked the fact that this stroller has a cushion that my daughter can lean against when she is standing and holding onto the handles. When sitting she will have more room once her sister is bigger and can sit up by herself, but it will work for now. The stroller handles great and is very easy to maneuver around tight spaces. It folds up easy and was very easy to put together. It’s not too heavy or bulky to load into the car. Overall, very happy with this product & would recommend it.

I bought this stroller and headed to Disney World. My three youngest are 6yrs, 3yrs and 9months. This stroller was a dream. Good storage, turns easily, folds easily and compactly (for a double). I mainly used it for the two youngest but, every once in awhile my 6yr old would hop on…and it held up with him on it just great! So happy with my purchase!!!

Being a mom of an infant & toddler I didn’t want to take the chance of strolling my daughter while leaving my toddler to walk with me fearing he’ll run off. Now I’m no longer chained to the house/yard with my kids. My son loves that he can stand up like a big kid or sit if he’s tired. I have no complaints about the product though my son drags his feet and messes with the wheels as we’re walking even though we tell him not to! I was also surprised that this stroller fits better than my single stroller in the trunk of our Saturn Aura!

  15. Mommy of 5 on August 16th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Purchased one day and returned the next! Loved the look the stroller, very stylish, light weight and folded to a decent size and wasn’t hard to push.

    Problems were:
Frame wasn’t sturdy. Was continuously bending and flexing. It would have just been a matter of time before something broke.
Front seat didn’t recline enough for a 1 yr old to be comfortable in.
Not enough storage space under the seat for my purse, a diaper bag or jackets.
Parent try included a cup holder which is great, love my strollers with cup holders but, this one wasn’t deep enough to secure a cup. Would have fallen out or dumped on the child in the rear seat.

Great idea but, needs to be refined!

I got this stroller as a gift from a family friend.. When I looked at it I didnt think I was goin to like it but I have 2 children and it holds the infant car seat in it while my other daughter sits in the back .. its the best thing ever I suggest this product for every mother with 2 kids its the best

  18. mom of 2 boys on September 25th, 2010 at 12:00 am

i love this stroller, its perfect for my 2 boys that are 18 months & newborn. my 18 month old loves being able to get in and out! the stroller is also Very comfortable , the seats for both the newborn & toddler are very padded.. i also purchased the infant car seat that matches this stroller & its excellent, very stylish! the only thing i dont like is that, its very heavy. its not heavy when you push it, but when you go to lift it into your car.. its hard to lift. But it is a double stroller, so of course there all going to be heavy! The stroller also fits up good. i own a 2 door scion tc & it has a very small trunk.. i have to take the tray & visor off the stroller when putting it in my trunk but it does fit!! excellent, Buy this stroller!!

After buying the Baby Trend double stoller in "green tea" I decided to buy this sit’n’stand. The Baby Trend stoller was huge cheap and totally confusing, I thought having the choice of having a backseat would be nice but its too much.. My daughter is 2 and we are expecting our 2nd soon, we never take our daughter out in a stoller anyways so i figured having a basic sit’n;stand would be more realistic for us (She hates being strapped down to anything) and having the sit n stand will give her options- She loves it, having the freedom to stand and it will be nice that she can interact with her baby brother while we are out.
The colors are great, gender neutral. The stroller was really easy to put together and our black/grey mia moda car seat fits like a charm and looks great! There is one parent cup holder that is nice and deep and two trays on the side- great for cell phones or snacks for the standing child. Its a little heavy but what double stroller isnt? The front seat reclines quit far back- a lot farther then most double stollers. The bottom basket is a nice size and unbuttons in the very back to come completely down or you can access it by lifting the seat up- it might be a real pain trying to get a diaper bag in and out but luckily we have the jj cole diaper bag that comes with stroller attachments to hang on the handles on the stoller. It rides great and for a sit’n’stand it is very sturdy, easy to fold but for some reason the knob and lock dont meet when i fold it so it wont lock in place- i may be doing something wrong. Also while folded its nice that you roll it on the wheels. The shade is a nice size and is a little hard to move back and forth (dont be afraid to break it in) I had to pull it pretty hard.
All in all I would recommend this stoller I think it looks great and is easy to use!
