So you have 3 children and need to get around? Here is a triple stroller worth reading about. The Joovy Big Caboose is considerably different than other triple strollers. It is NOT for triplets. It is for families with a toddler and younger twins, or simply three young children.

You’re still reading, so you must be interested. Here are more great things to note: The Big Caboose comes with two complete full size seats and the rear seat has plenty of legroom. Both seats can be reclined and each seat is equipped with a removable canopy, removable child tray, adjustable footrest and removable infant car seat attachment! That’s right; you can put TWO infant car seats on the Big Caboose at the same time! While the babies are in, your toddler can sit on the bench seat or stand on the platform. Any other variation of three young children works too! Warning: Your toddler will love riding in the back so much you may have to use the stroller a lot more than expected!

As you know, the average stroller holds 35 lbs, well, the Big Caboose holds 130 lbs! This means it takes quite a bit of strength to control and push. Because of the stroller’s size, it can be a challenge to turn, but we have included sealed bearings in all the wheels to make pushing and steering the easiest it can be! Also, the new rear suspension smoothes the bumps for everyone riding. The narrow width makes it easy to maneuver through doorways, hallways and store aisles. Lastly, on the size, the Big Caboose is also big when folded so you will need to have a large vehicle to transport this stroller. However, it is remarkably lightweight at only 37 lbs! For the exact specifications, please visit the Joovy website.

Let’s not forget, the Big Caboose has a gigantic storage basket too! Enjoy your family outings more with the Big Caboose!

I have this stroller in a different color, but exactly the same. I’m giving it 4 stars because I didn’t have this stroller when my twins were born and in infant carriers. This stroller probably wouldn’t be the best option for twins with older sibling. If you plan on using an infant carrier in the rear seat..they child in back won’t be able to sit and not alot of room to stand. It worked for me since my twins were 11 months old and could sit upright in seats. We do occasionally recline second seat and my son doesn’t mind too much.

    PROS:

I love that each foot tray can be adjusted so child can have a leg rest instead of hanging down. The trays or carseat adapters are very easy to remove to fit into vehicle. The canopies are HUGE! They offer plenty of protection..even for child sitting in back. They rotate 180 degrees. The material is very easy to clean with damp rag. Very easy to fold and store upright. Very flat fold for a triple stroller. It folds flatter than my Graco single stroller. Not too heavy for a triple stroller. Tons of leg room for child sitting in middle seat! I couldn’t believe how much room since my Baby Trend Triple was outgrown when my twins were 10 months old!

    Cons:

Very long..to be expected though. I can still fit through any aisles in stores or malls. No drink holder unless you buy the organizer for extra money. The pockets on back of seats work great though for bottled drinks, keys, phone. A little hard to steer when turning. The basket isn’t easily accessible unless you undo snaps on side and slip things in. Doesn’t fit in my Dodge Caravan well..must fold down 1/2 of back seat and remove front tray in order to fit.

**Overall I would definetly recommend this stroller to anyone needing to get out with 3 young kids. This is a stroller that can grow with kids and last more than 1 season. My Baby Trend triple was awfully small compared to this. You can also fit through all doorways, unlike some triple joggers. I also love that each seat has their own tray for snacks and drink. Great stroller and would buy again.

I got this stroller when I was ecxpecting my third child. My older kids were 2.5 and 1 at the time. This stroller worked perfect for my newborn (the car seat fit no problem) as well as for my two toddlers. The children in the second seat have a lot of space for their legs. The carriage bag is really big and usefull when you have three kids!
The only thing that will give this product four stars is the small reclining ability for the chairs. Sleeping my be a little bit of the problem.
Otherwise stering the stroller is ok, taking to considaration the lenght. No problem with folding. Feets easly in my Honda Pilot.

I purchased this stroller when I was three months pregnant with my twin daughters. Once we were able to us it, I was very disappointed. 1. You cannot use this stroller in the winter-does not push through snow well. 2. My 3 year old son cannot ride comfortably on the platform if the back seat is reclined or if the bucket car seats are in – if he wants to sit, he has to slouch forward. 3. It is very heavy with all three kids in it. 4. Not sturdy (feels as though it might tip at times). 5. Does not fit in our minivan along with the full family (there are 5 of us). 6. The tires melted causing them to warp in the summer heat (my stroller is 14 months old and in use for 9 months-this includes the winter months) In my opinion you should save your money and invest it somewhere else.

We have a set of two year old b/g twins and a two week old son. this stroller so far has been amazing, despite the size of the stroller when it is folded up. It makes it a challenge getting into our van at times. It’s surprisingly easy to steer considering it’s size and the weight of the three kids in it. And our Infant carseat works great in it too.

I have been looking for something for a long time to take my 3 kids on the walk to my oldest kindergarten. I thought she would be able to walk back and forth so was only looking for a double. I was SO excited when i came across this one.
It is an awesome stroller. My 5 year old LOVES that she can chose to either stand up OR sit down on the little seat. It fits my Laura Ashely infant seat just fine.
The only problems i did have was that i could not get my large diaper bad under the stroller and into the storage area but it wasnt that big of a deal. I just hung it onto the front of the baby seat.
i will be able to hang a diaper bad on the handle bars if there is nobody standing on the sit and stand.
it is very sturdy and feels very well built. We took it to Sea World for the first use and it did great!
Even my husband likes it….and that is hard to do!!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone with 2 little ones and an older child.
it can be a little tough to turn sometimes, i think that is because of the car seat but i dont care. it is a wonderful stroller and well worth the price. we will be using this for years to come!!
It is also not very heavy considering how large it it. It is very long but that is to be expected. Had a double jogging stroller and it was so very heavy (50lbs) this one is 37lbs i believe and i can lift it without a problem. Also, i am 6ft tall and the bar to push is at a perfect level for me.
I am in love with this stroller.
