I have been a loyal Graco customer for many years, and in anticipation of a new baby I am SOOOO excited to see that they are finally bringing back a reversible handle stroller / travel system. They had one several years back, but they discontinued the model (you had to physically remove and flip around the bassinet/basket, which was no fun anyway.)

This one looks like all that will be done is the handle flipped. I have always preferred "carriage" style strollers, and for some reason they have been hard to find over the past several years without paying an arm and a leg.

I gave this system 4 stars because of the pattern (really? could they have found an uglier fabric…?) Also, I wish it were offered with the Snugride32 car seat instead of the basic Snugride that only goes to 22lbs.

All in all I’m looking forward to trying this new Graco system when it comes out!

I was very excited when I saw this come on the market… until I tried it in the store. When the handle is in the rear-facing position, I kept kicking the wheels. I’m average size (5’6"). It made me nuts. The wheels are just too close together and get in the way. Try it and I think you’ll see what I mean. I’ll continue looking for a reversible stroller.

  4. Meg the mod mom on February 1st, 2010 at 12:00 am

Love the flip option for this value priced stroller. As another reviewer commented, most strollers with that option cost a pretty penny these days. I also agree that the 32 model car seat would have been nice, but they tend to keep those for the big, heavy stroller travel systems.

Also, I’m LOVING the modern fabrics that Graco has come out with lately. An other reviewer called it ugly, but I couldn’t disagree more. I usually hate the patterns and prints used for baby items, but this pattern, and a handful of others from Graco, have really raised the bar for non-embarrassing baby items. Way to go Graco!

  5. Mom2Azoo on February 2nd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I purchased this system and we love it. We used it on our toddler as the baby isn’t here yet and it’s great. Easy to flip back and forth. I love the pattern, but if you don’t you can go to graco’s website and they have other patterns to choose from and they tell you where you could buy them!

  6. Expecting in June 2010 on February 4th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I agree that the pictures make the fabric look funny, but in person this was the first stroller I saw that I didn’t hate! My hubbie and I have been looking for a travel system like this but I have been so turned off by the prints and fabrics I have seen. This one has great features, seems very easy to use, and it’s actually pretty cute!

  7. New mom again after all these years! on February 6th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I just got this item today after trading in an older Graco travel system that I had and hated. I like this system because it feels lighter, easier to handle, and it seems to be a little bit taller than the older systems. I love the flip design. Also, I have a newborn and her head was constantly flopping forward unless I put a blanket around her head; which didn’t always work or feel totally safe. With this car seat, the padding around the straps keep her head supported perfectly. I love the colors. I like that it has a feminine, but also neutral color scheme. This pattern has a mix of a contemporary, and sporty feel to it. The padding in the seat is great! There seems to be a lot of room for her to grow into it, but I also feel like she is snug enough for safety and comfort. I do have a hard time opening the stroller, but it may just take practice.

  8. EMBabyMomma on February 12th, 2010 at 12:00 am

First off, this stroller is fantastic! I had been looking at other strollers with similar features in more expensive brands(like the ability to change the seat from front facing to rear facing & using it as a pram/bassinet). This stroller is both economical and has all the features I had been looking for, but at a price that’s a little more affordable. I’m taller (5’9"), and didn’t want a stroller that would cause me to slouch. I also have back issues, so the stroller had to be light enough for me to pick up & put into the car by myself. The carseat is only 7 lbs, which makes it very easy to handle. In addition, the fabric is very, very nice – no obnoxious patterns, nice subdued colors and soft brushed suede. The canopy on the stroller also has a peek-a-boo window, which I liked. It looks much better in person than online. I tested the model in the store and pushed it around for a while but did not notice any problem with my feet kicking the wheels when in full stride. It’s a great stroller with some very good features for the money. I’d give it 5 stars, but since I haven’t used it yet it’ll get 4. I can’t wait until my baby girl is here to put it to use!

  9. New Mom on February 16th, 2010 at 12:00 am

My husband and I really like this stroller because of its ‘compact’ size. It’s not as bulky and wide as some of the other strollers on the market. I want a stroller that encases my newborn in safety, yet isn’t too overwhelming in size. I hate huge strollers that take people out when they are trying to pass in the isle ways at stores.
My complaint is that the opening and closing mechanism on this stroller is awkward. You have to push a button and (at the same time) rotated piece on the handle to collapse and open this stroller. It is nearly impossible to do one-handed. The benefit is that you won’t have an ‘accidental’ collapsing, but you really have to focus on opening and closing it…not so great when you are in a hurry. Also, the basket under the stroller is on the small side….great for space saving, but if you have a lot of things for your baby, you might not have enough storage.
Like some other folks have said, when I reverse the handle and push the stroller so that the front wheels are now in the back, I tend to kick the wheels. It’s irritating initially, but with muscle memory, you can avoid doing it. I wouldn’t buy this stroller solely because it has a ‘reverse handle’ feature.
I would recommend this stroller, but you have to know it’s limitations.

  10. yap23 on February 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

It was easy to set up. The metarial is nice and soft. There are two head support pillows for baby on the car seat. Car seat has front adjusting strap, which is a must.
The stroller folds upright with one hand.It is light weight. The handle flips easily and adjusts to your height.
cons:The canopy covers when car seat is on stroller do not close on top of eachother, there is a little space left in between. The cupholder sticks too far on the side, so it may hit stuff while pushing..The storage basket could be a little bigger. When handle flipped to face baby while pushing, it is harder to steer from side to side, since the front wheels become back, and they are the ones moving.

  11. Our first on March 4th, 2010 at 12:00 am

An awesome, amazing product, we love everything about it… there is nothing we would change… Durable, compact, easy to use….

  12. Little Miss on March 11th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I received this product from a friend and I am a little disappointed. The material on the infant car seat is stiff and not soft at all! The overall material seems cheap, which cheapens the stroller, I believe. The handlebar switch feature is nice, but I’m not sure its worth it to give up having a compartment and nicer cupholder that you can find on other strollers. I’m not quite a mom (only a few months until that changes!) but I don’t think it will be necessary to having baby facing me when they are out of their car seat, don’t they like to sit up and see what is going on? Overall the uncomfortable and cheap material really was the reason I decided to return this and go for a different travel system.

  13. Adri on March 15th, 2010 at 12:00 am

What first caught my attention was the nice colors it has, especially the pastel yellow, it looks better in person than online. It’s great for a girl or boy. The fabric is soft, great for south florida weather or any season perhaps. I really love that is not as heavy as most strollers, that was my main concern on choosing a stroller. My 2nd choice was a Chicco brand, but is too expensive and I do not like any of their patterns or color fabrics. The wheels aren’t as big, the basket and stroller itself are a good enough size, not too bulky. It takes a couple of trys, but it is pretty easy to open and close once you practice. Yes, when reversing the handles, the wheels do not turn as easily and it kicks a bit, but is mostly when you are going to turn, the best thing to do is lifting it a bit off the floor when wanting to turn, it takes some getting used to, but the idea is great. The car seat isn’t that heavy at all, I love that, and it’s easy latch on and off the stroller and the base. It has really good head support and side support. The grip on the car seat is rubber, it doesn’t hurt my arm or hand and I can get a good grasp.

  14. pumpkissmommy on March 19th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I just got my Graco Flipit, I did not purchase it from Babies R Us, as I only needed the stroller and not the travel system. Its great so far, some people complained that they would kick the wheels when they handle was in the reverse position, however there is a little lever that can be turned on and off to prevent the wheels from rotating. I ordered this simply because I like to have the option of having my baby facing me if the sun is too bright or the wind is too strong. It was difficult to find just the stroller, as it is sold out on most sites, but I found it!!

  15. CGreen on March 21st, 2010 at 12:00 am

The overall idea is great.. however the execution still needs work. We tried it in the store yesterday.. the basket is TINY.. only my purse fit in it which is not nearly as large as a diaper bag. It was hard to flip the handle because you have to hold the latches on both sides (Im only 5’1" so this wasn’t an easy task)The overall stroller was very flimsy feeling. The wheels were very small and had no shock absorption. They also got stuck at times. I think this product is too new and has too many issues to try.

  16. Mom of soon 3 on March 23rd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I loved the face that it flips so you can keep your eye on the baby when using the stroller. I hate it when strangers tell you your baby has vomit on them.
I have not used the system yet as I’m due late April.
I am looking foward to putting my lil buggie in it. The yellow is so cute and the gray a bit overpowering but with my lil buggie in it in pink should look fine.

  17. Mom to be on March 25th, 2010 at 12:00 am

A little tricky putting the stroller together, even with directions. But is lightweight and calapses easily for storing in a smaller space.

  18. Mom of 3 on March 31st, 2010 at 12:00 am

We have 3 kids and this is the best travel system we have ever bought. The car seat is light weight and everything is easy to use. The handle is great and adjust to short and tall parents. I am 5’4 and my husband is 6’5 and the handle can adjust to be comfortable for both of us. That has been a problem in the past for my tall husband. He is very pleased with this system. Great purchase for us!!!

  19. Military Mama on April 4th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I was able to put together the entire stroller without needing any help. The fabric is really great. Nice and soft. I love the handle the can change position if and when needed. I also like the cup holder. The entire stroller and car seat is really well made and exactly what I was looking for. I had looked at a million reviews of other stroller sets before "risking" it with this one. Best decision I made. Not finding any issues.

  20. Irene on April 6th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I just purchased this product and haven’t gotten to use it yet (my buns still in the oven) I really liked the "flip it feature" and its the main reason I bought this product I just wish it wasn’t So hard to use I’m 5"1 and its takes some skill to get it to flip for me and it is a bit hard for me to get it to fold/unfold but overall I really loved the idea of being able to see my baby. The material looks easy to clean. I also wish it came in different colors I’m having a girl and would have liked something a little more feminine. The price was a bit of a con for me If it had been less expensive I would recommend it I just feel they are overcharging for the "flip it" feature.

  21. Meggz on April 10th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This my be our first child but I work in retail and one of my jobs is to put didsplays of baby furniture i.e. carseats, strollers, walkers, and cribs together as our murchandise changes regularly. I bought this set because of the more neutral colors since we don’t know what we’re haveing, it’s great for either a boy or girl.

When is comes to assembly there’s really nothing to it. Just pop the wheels and the rain awnings on and your good to go. It’s light weight and very well built, and the "on hand fold up" really is one hand! I’ve seen that to be a major drawback sometimes.

  22. isumath07 on April 10th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I love this travel system. My main concern was that I chose a stroller with the option to have baby face away or toward me. I love that this model does that AND fits the graco snugride carseat. The material is very nice quality and I love that it’s different from what everyone seems to have right now. It’s dark enough (especially in the middle) so it won’t show as much wear. I love that the cup holder for the "pusher" is just on the side… personally I didn’t want the big "convenience tray" on the top. I think those add bulk and this has a zipper storage for keys/snacks/etc. Also the storage underneath is roomy and handy. The stroller folds up well and is light enough to be able to carry down and up stairs with relative ease. It’s not an umbrella stroller weight by any means, but that’s not the intention. It folds up pretty flat and all of the "folding," "flipping," and other features are very easy to figure out. Everything seems solid and ready for years of wear. My daughter is due at the end of May and I’m very excited to walk her in this stroller. I love that it’s gender neutral as this is our first child and we hope future children can use it as well.

  23. Mom of 2 on April 15th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I decided to purchase this travel system for my second child and it was easy to put together. I do wish they had more pattern choices for the Flip-it, but that may come with time. I just purchased a pink head support to add a splash of color. The stroller is a great size compared to the Quatro Tour set we had with my first one. I loved the Tour, but the Flip-it frame is a little more narrow which allows better movement through aisles and stores with small walkways without hitting the side of the stroller on every rack or shelf you pass by. I love how high the handle sits! it allows tall people like me (5′ 10") to be able to comfortably steer the stroller without hunching over. The cup holder rotates when the handle flips. A sort of console like the Tour had would be nice, instead they have a zipper pocket on the back of the seat. I love how it closes to a stand making it easy to pick up. it’s pretty wasy to open (just a little difficulty). My only BIG problem with the stroller is the basket size which is barely big enough for my purse. The small space between the basket and the bottom of the seat makes it hard to put an item in there, and the basket itself is very small. I might have to buy one of those stroller bag clips to hold my stuff. Other than the basket size, I love this stroller!

  24. Gianna's Mom on April 20th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I’m a first time mom and was unfamiliar with all of the baby equipment. However, after reading all of the reviews online as well as in the "Baby Bargains" book, I put this travel system on my registry. I’m so glad I did! It’s easy to use, sturdy, easy to clean and lightweight. My husband had a little bit of a time installing the base in our SUV with the LATCH system but he finally got it installed properly after 2 tries. I do think that the headrest in the infant seat is useless – my baby’s head just lolls about so I got a support that goes on either side of her head to prevent this. Other than that, I really love this seat and stroller!

  25. mommy of 2 on April 28th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I bought the system in store and tried everything out before I bought it. I love the color scheme and the fact that the car seat seemed to worked with my combi double stroller. When I got home and I took the stroller out of the box it felt like a ton of bricks! Defiantly not what I remember from the store when I folded the stroller and lifted it to check the weight. I returned the set b/c of the stroller- I had a Baby Trend travel system before and it was also to heavy for me to lift in and out of my economy car’s tight trunk space. While I love the car seat I think I will have to go with Combi stroller and car seat because of how light weight the products are.

  26. First time mom on May 4th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Very easy to assemble. Lightweight and easy to fold and store in trunk. Nothing I don’t like. Would have rated a 5, but the basket underneath is kind of small.

  27. Liz on May 8th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We took our time trying to decide the perfect one for us and this is the one we chose! We our first time parents. We fell in love with the idea of the "flip it" handle. That I know will come in handy as our child matures and grows older, such as going on vacation and such. I love how the handle is adjustable so any height person in our family could easily push our child with out having a backache. The color we chose was neutral teal and gray, so if we do have another child a girl she’d be perfect in it as well. So all together I believe it’ll be the perfect combo travel system for us! It also didn’t break our piggy bank. I was able to use mostly gift cards from my shower and that was a positive note as well! Thanks for a great product!

  28. Soon to be grandmother! on May 9th, 2010 at 12:00 am

My daughter has this on her registry so today I spent about an hour checking it out. We are both 5’1" and I found my size difficult to "flip" the handle. I also did not like the "push and turn" mechanism to close as it hurt my wrist. I was actually struggling to close and open it and asked a male saleperson to help and he had difficulty with opening and closing the stroller. The car seat is lighter weight than others I tried but I decided that one was out and I bought her Safety 1st Aerolite LX by Pegasus.

  29. TDMom on May 9th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I was shopping for a travel system and tried out this one, I was originally planning on purchasing this one, however once I tried it out, I quickly changed my mind. The "flip it" concept is great, however they should make better wheels in the front so they can move better when the handle is changed from it’s regular position. I was disappointed that the wheels did not move as well as they do when the handle is on one side. It would be great if the stroller was easy to manuever when the handle was on either side of the stroller. I went with a different travel system!

  30. First time mom to be on May 21st, 2010 at 12:00 am

The system itself is very easy to put together. It’s much lighter than the other travel systems I’ve tried in the stores and it’s very easy to figure out. I don’t have any problems with the stroller wheels in the reverse handle position either. The colors are great as well. It could work for a boy or girl. Overall, it’s a great deal and a great product.

  31. Miss Joy on May 24th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I bought this because I realized that I needed a stroller sooner than I thought. I store the stroller in my trunk (I drive a Kia Optima) and still have room for other things in there. It’s not too cumbersome, and easy to fold and unfold. As a person who is only 5’4" tall I enjoy the ability to adjust the handle, sort of like a tilt steering wheel. It has a 5 point harness you can convert to a 3 point belt. Only problem is that when you flip the handle to be able to look at your baby it puts the steer wheels in the back so steering isn’t as easy.

  32. First Time Mommy on May 27th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This travel system is gorgeous, but you should know it looks blue online but is actually a lovely shade of sage green. Unexpected, but not bad at all. Once my husband and I got it put together, I was amazed at how lightweight it was and how easily it glided over tile and carpet. I can’t wait to use it outside!

  33. Mother of two on May 29th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I really love this stroller!! I had a different Graco system with my son that was much heavier and bulkier that also folded down, and I love how much easier and lighter this system is for me to use. It’s not super light, but I wouldn’t expect it to be because of what it is, and I like that I can flip the handle so when my baby is sleeping and we’re out people aren’t constantly trying to talk and touch her. I also like the car seat and the additional head and neck support it brings.

  34. Freshlife on June 2nd, 2010 at 12:00 am

I love this travel system! The colors are neutral and modern. Baby isn’t here yet. It’s relatively light compared to other Graco models and other brands, which will be nice for hauling it in and out of my trunk.

I’m 5’3", my husband is 6′. We both have an easy time flipping back and forward. The closing is a little more difficult but not unmanageable. I really like that the handle can lower for me to push and raise for my tall husband.

I recommend it! PS-buy at BRU today to get the 20% off coupon to use later when you’re ready to buy.

  35. Natalie on June 8th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Bought this travel system for my newborn. We wanted something lightweight, and this set was one of the lightest we saw at Babies R Us. The stroller is light, easy to maneuver, and easy to push. I enjoy using the stroller, I thought it would not handle well, but I was surprised. It took me a minute to figure out how to open and fold the stroller, but once I figured it out, it is very easy and convenient to use.
I was not impressed with the car seat. It turned out much heavier than I expected once my son is in it. Not sure if this is true of all car seats, but when my son is in it, he looks curled up and uncomfortable. Every time I take him out, he stretches out. I feel bad for him every time I see him sitting in there.

  36. Ashley on June 12th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I love the flip feature on the stroller and the taller handle. Its easy to open and fold closed. I assembled the stroller myself, 32 weeks pregnant, and had no trouble at all.

  38. Mother of 3 on June 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I bought this product mainly for the stroller. The car seat is a great item to use as well! This is probably one of the best strollers I have bought since I have been a parent (4 1/2yrs)! I use this product mostly with my 2 month old son, but I also have used it for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. (Great for Walks) The stroller rides very smoothly. The design helped make my final decision in the purchase. It is very stylish and great for a boy or a girl! The adjustable handle is great for all heights, my husband is 6’5" and always had to lean over to push the stroller now he dont and loves it. The idea of being able to flip the handle bar is also a unique trait giving you the ability to use & communicate with your child as he/she grows. Overall I highly recommend this stroller/carseat combo.

  39. Mom to 4 under 4 on July 5th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This is a nice attempt by Graco to compete with the high end stroller that are reversible and can parent face. I like the concept of flipping the handle as some reversibles require you to remove the seat (some even require you to remove the seat to fold it) However Graco missed the boat in that they didn’t give both front and back wheels the option to lock in place or swivel. I have a Peg Perego with the same concept of flipping the handle and it has the option to make any of the wheels fixed or swivel.

When this Graco is parent facing it is like driving a forklift because it steers in the back. It’s usually not an issue unless you are in a tight space.

  40. Farm mom on July 7th, 2010 at 12:00 am

The Graco Flip-it travel system is great! It was easy to put together- it only took my husband about 5-10 minutes. The colors are attractive and gender neutral. The seat and base are easy to install properly in the car and we love that the handle on the stroller flips back and forth. The stroller folds easily with one hand once you get he hang of it. Great buy!

  41. Dad from Roseville on July 17th, 2010 at 12:00 am

This product contained all the features that we were looking for in a travel system stroller.
    Easy to set-up and handle.
But the color on the web-site is misleading, it appears teal blue in the images but the actual product color is ‘GREEN’.
Returning back to the store to get the same model in a different color.

  42. New Mommy on July 20th, 2010 at 12:00 am

Both the stroller and carseat are easy to use! My husband and I are very happy with the product and our son seems to like it as well :). I will warn you though- the colors aren’t what you see on the website- the aqua isn’t really aqua it’s a darker teal color- not bright like the pictures show.

  43. Heather on August 1st, 2010 at 12:00 am

Easy to use and for me, easy to open/close. I love the fact that the stroller can face two ways – and I can watch my baby while I "stroll." Great unisex design and perfect for both my husband and I. We are VERY happy with this stroller system!

Having babysat plenty of kids and pushed many a stroller, I can say that personally, this is the stroller for me. I’m 5’10, so the fact that the handle is high is a great feature. And because of its slim frame, it’s convenient to use anywhere. The carrier is also very easy to install, and it has very good safety features.

I like the system a lot. I don’t really have troubles folding it and it fits perfectly in my trunk. My daughter is just now getting to the age where I’ll have her in the stroller. I tried the "flipped" version once and had trouble getting the wheels to flow well when she’s facing me. Maybe it just takes practice, but that’s the one downside I’ve noticed. Otherwise I’ve been very happy with it.

Very nice stroller with the flip it feature. only one problem i have is on a very slight occasion when i try to flip the handle, it sometimes doesn’t want to go down and latch. other than that, it is very nice and has a very pretty yellow color.

The stroller is very easy to open and close. Thought I would really enjoy having the abilty to flip the handle but it’s not really necessary since the car seat part sits in the stroller facing you. By the time I’m ready to just sit my son in the stroller without the car seat his legs would probably be kicking me in the shins if I were to flip the handle. Nice idea but when the handle is fliped, it’s difficult to control the back wheels from the front.

My baby is 3 months old, and I rely on this travel system every day. I LOVE it! It has great features (easy-to-get-to basket, cup holder for Momma, etc.), is SO easy to push with one hand (even in tight spots/turns), and I think the way that it collapses is so easy (I can do with one hand, easy to wheel around when collapsed, no need to bend over, etc). And on top of everything it is the cutest travel system I have seen around by far, the colors are great! A must have!

bought for new baby-had trouble in Toyota corolla and chevy silverado with her head falling down-incline too high….even when seat is all the way adjusted…rolled up towel like instructions that helped a lot…but in the corolla you cannot have the driver and passenger seat back the way you want….i’m average height 5’5…so the seats are jammed into the back of the carseat…that isn’t safe. The fabric really dissappointed me…the color looks really nice – bright turquoise , but it is really a dull, more neutral color. You really need an infant head support insert to help when you make turns so babies head doesn’t roll all over, the one that comes with the seat isn’t very helpful.

I recieved this combo as a shower gift and fell in love with the colors and the flipping handles. My son is now almost 6mos old, and this combo has gone EVERYWHERE with me. The only issue I have is pretty much the same as the rest of the reviewers…I don’t like the fact that the rear wheels don’t lock for easier manuvering. The one-handed folding is GREAT!! And despite its size when closed, the stroller still fits in to my compact car’s trunk. I have already recommended it to all of the other moms-to-be (two of them went out and bought it) I know and will continue to do so!

We received this as part of our baby registry and we love it! It is easy to expand and close as well as combine and take a apart. We will be able to use this for at least a few years for our son.

  55. New Mama on September 8th, 2010 at 12:00 am

I was given this stroller/car seat combo as a shower gift. It is not the set I registered for. It is OK. Some things are nice, but there are some features on both the car seat and stroller that are not. Cons on the car seat: It is NOT front adjustable as the description states. It is a cheaper model of the Snugride and has rear adjustable straps which I am not thrilled about. The canopy on the car seat is too short and because it is attached with elastic to the back, you can not adjust it further forward without the canopy hanging in the baby’s face. Otherwise, the car seat is fine. The stroller: The seat does not recline all the way so you have to use the car seat every time with a newborn. It has only one cup holder and no tray. There is a zippered pocket but storage for small, easily accessible items is limited. I often walk with my dogs and the baby. I need a place for doggie bags, cell phone, leashes, balls. It would be nice if there was a tray in addition to the zippered pouch. The storage basket is adequate, but once my diaper bag (Vera Bradley) is in it, there is not room for anything else. The hold and twist fold is somewhat awkward–I typically need 2 hands to fold and unfold it, which is pretty typical of these types of strollers. The car seat attachment is not the best–there are additional elastic strips to secure the car seat. On a hot day in a busy parking lot, this is less than ideal–especially with a sleeping baby that you are anxious to get rolling! The brakes are separate on each wheel. I have not used the "flip it" feature yet as my son is 8 weeks old. I doubt that I will ever use that feature. The stroller does have some nice features: the height adjustable handle, it rides fairly smoothly, it is lightweight compared to other strollers in this category, and stands up once folded. Oh, and the pattern is cute. Overall, for the money, or just a little bit more, there are a lot of nicer options out there. It gets the job done, and there are some nice features about it. None of the cons are terrible or deal breakers, however, I feel that this stoller is somewhat of a disappointment. With a few more upgrades, this could have been a really great stroller instead of just OK. I would be willing to pay more for this stroller to have the extras.

I bought this for my newborn because the color fits our theme (yellow). My husband assembled it and said it was easy. However, I do agree that the car seat seems really heavy and tight to me. My baby is 3 month and 13 lbs now, and her arms are already against the sides tightly, not leaving any room to move around. Her legs are almost to the bottom edge too. She doesn’t like to be in there for long because every time I took her out she needs to stretch for a long time, so I cannot see how a 20+ lb baby would fit into the car seat.
As far as the stroller, I would recommend it to toddlers instead of infants as in there’s no head support. My baby’s body still leans to one side every time I put her in the stroller. I do like the reversible handle feature though.

I want everyone to know how great i think this stroller system is. Not only is it light weight and wasy to move, but it was super easy to assemble. I have 3 weeks left in my pregnancy and assembled it all by myself! I would recommend this to anyone i can not wait to use it.

  58. New Mom on September 28th, 2010 at 12:00 am

We have had this travel system for a month. We picked out the pattern because it could be for a boy or girl and liked how light the car seat was to carry. It is easy to fold up although a little heavy to put in the trunk. We recently were in a car accident and it was a very safe place for our one moth old to be! I’m really happy we researched all the car seats before we put it on our registry! Because of the car accident we will be purchasing the exact same model since the stroller was damaged and anytime you are in a car accident, your seat needs to be replaced.

I dislike how the sun shield to the carseat doesn’t go halfway. It seems like its too short. Especially when you are outside walking with your infant you can’t protect their face from the sun. Also headrest needs more padding. The two inserts are not enough. The carseat is very deep. Seems uncomfortable. I will spend more money on a better system next time around.

  60. newbiemamma13 on October 10th, 2010 at 12:00 am

As a busy first time mom, I was looking for a travel system that would meet all of my needs. My first requirements was that it be lightweight and not bulky. I have to say that this system met those two needs.

I put the stroller together in about a half hour by myself at 37 weeks pregnant. It was super easy to put together, even though the directions could be unclear at times.

Once it was together I played with it a little bit to figure it out. The collapsing of the stroller is a little complicated to grasp. It took me a couple times to get it right. But once I figured it out, it really isn’t to bad and it is truly one handed.

Over all, I like the system alot. As for the complaints about the wheels. I’m seeing that it will take some practice but I haven’t kicked them once. Also, the way I’ll be using it (with the carseat attached) I can’t see the wheels being a problem because I want the baby facing me and the wheels aren’t a factor in that direction. My suggestion if you’re having trouble is to use stoller in that facing when you have lots of room to turn. I wouldn’t use that facing in tight spaces.

I can’t wait til my little girl gets her so we can go for walks in this system! It is well worth the money spent!

Loved it from the minute we saw it in the store. When we brought it home, and took it out of the box, the instructions were simple to understand, and we had it assembled in no time!
Everything functions so smoothly! From the flip handle to the car seat base to the stroller, it fold beautifully and easily!
The best part is the adjustable handle, I’m a short mommy and the handle is BRILLIANT.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Seriously. This is a MUST HAVE! Thoroughly impressed.

The car seat has worked great for us. I like that it can be used with its base or just buckled in if you don’t have a second base. However, I don’t use the stroller very often. It is very heavy and bulky which makes it too much of a hassle for regular use. It takes up the entire trunk of my car. I really like that the handle flips though which has come in handy to keep the sun out of my daughter’s eyes. When it is flipped so that the child is facing you, it does make it more difficult to steer since the steering wheels are on the front then. I also tend to kick the wheels when it is flipped. If I had to do it again, I would probably buy the car seat without the stroller.

  64. New Mom on October 26th, 2010 at 12:00 am

The stroller is easy to fold up, but I found it difficult to steer with just one hand. The cup holder sticks out significantly so if you want to use the stroller to shop, you pretty much have to take the cup holder off or else it will get hooked on displays and racks and possibly spill. In addition, the seat does not recline to a flat position, so my child cannot sleep very well. The material used for the stroller and car seat does not all for any air movement and therefore gets very hot and uncomfortable for my infant during the warmer months.

  65. Yo the baby walker on October 27th, 2010 at 12:00 am

The directions for assembling the stroller are very vague. However, 3 of us finally figures it out. They didn’t make strollers like this when I was having babies. It is relatively easy to maneuver and glides nicely. The storage under the baby is adequate. I like the fact that you can have the baby facing the person pushing the stroller or you can turn the baby so he enjoys the view. Folds up easily enough, but with all the extras this stroller has, it still needs a lot of trunk space once folded. This is a bulky stroller, so one can not carry baby, stroller, diaper bag, purse, etc. It will require several trips to the car. I find that you put the baby in stroller and everything else in the basket and stroll to the car.
