We originally were going to get the Diaz system, but this one had just come out and we fell in love with it. It appears to have the same features as the Diaz which received great reviews, but it is much lighter and folds up easier. The pattern is so adorable and can be used for a boy or a girl. We can’t wait to start using this system!

I bought this product as a gift for my sister and it was exactly what she wanted. She loves the colors and the functions of it.

  4. Busy mom on March 18th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We got an earlier version of this travel system as a gift and love it. Our son just grew out of the car seat (6 mo. 19 lbs, 29 inches) so we just purchased a larger Britax car seat. But we continue to use the stroller daily. It folds easily and the basket at the bottom is very useful. Great value!

Really light and easy to maneuver around. Its really great for short moms because the handle adjusts.

I bought this combo for my son because I love the pattern and it is very light weight. I love everything about it except the food tray is oddly high. My friend has a 16 month and the tray is eye level with him and he has to reach his arms up to reach onto the tray. Other than that I really like it.

the product is all in one together great

  8. NewMommy on April 11th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The stroller is VERY light weight and compact but still provides great carrying space for personal ideas. The pattern and material are very nice and easy to clean. The only complaint is that the tray is oddly high and when the car seat seats on top of it, seems like the baby is seating too upright, but the gauge remains in the blue section so we assume it’s fine. The stroller folds up nicely and the light weight makes it easy to carry, open, or close it with one hand.

My husband and I had picked out a different travel system, but after trying this one out in the store (and comparing with the one we thought we wanted) we just fell in love with this system. It’s light weight and easy to manage also the adjustable handle height is great as my husband and I are about a foot different in height. Very excited to get my little one into this travel system.

  10. safety mommy on April 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This system looked great in the store. Me and my husband both loved the pattern. Once together, the car seat sits very upright when it’s on top of the stroller. The level on the side said it was in an OK position, but it seemed very unsafe and uncomfortable. Returned this travelsystem to the store. Not worth the risk to our infant.

We got this travel system as a gift and it is absolutely the best item we have! The stroller is so lightweight, and it is so easy to transfer the carseat from the car to the stroller. I would definitly recommend this product to anyone with an infant!

  12. New Mom on May 6th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I am a new mom and got this travel system after the one I had picked was off the market. I absolutely loved the print and look and the fact that it is very lightweight. But after putting my child in the car seat it sits up straight way to far. Her head can’t rest against the seat because it sits up to far. The blue mark is in the window so I know it is where it is suppose to me. So love the look just not its function. Stroller is great though.

  13. mommy to Aiden on May 23rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

This is the best travel system ever! I also love that the handle will go high or low on the stroller. I took it to Disney World, and I figured that it would be a hastle, but instead it was best thing ever! This travel system is the best and most lightweight one out there! A must have for anyone! 🙂

I have loved my Graco Metro Lite Travel System. We got the Sterling pattern, not Utopia, but it is the same car seat and stroller. The stroller is fairly light-weight and folds up easily. Even when it is folded, it takes up a lot of space in a normal sized car. The car seat is very light-weight. The only problem I had with the car seat is that my son outgrew the seat by 9 months because of his height, not weight. I still love to use the stroller for my 1 year old, though. The car seat and base were very easy to install using either LATCH or the normal seatbelt.

  15. momof2 on June 3rd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I got this stroller as a shower gift. Love the fabric, design and pattern. But overall, this stroller falls short.

It does sit up too high like others have posted, my infant’s head falls out of the infant seat half the time and thank god I have a 9 yr old who is able to sit in the back seat and push his head back in the right place. He is too young (3 wks old) to know how the stroller works but I have noticed as others have posted that the seat recline is just a string in the back, it’s not a clip like other strollers.

Overall, really check out the features on the stroller and not fall in love with the pattern then the stroller like I did.

If I could do it all again I would NOT buy this stroller, I’d go with the Quattro.

  17. Mom expecting a winter baby. on June 22nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

The color of the stroller is nice chocolate brown, and the pattern is prettier than it looks here (gender neutral). I hated that the stroller seat felt so flimsy. Like other reviews said it does not clip in the back, or have any kind of support. It seems like it would fall back a lot with a baby in it. My husband liked the idea of an adjustable handle bc he is tall, but it just clicked into 3 positions – facing right at your stomach, slightly upward, and straight up… The highest setting made it no higher than the handle of any other Graco stroller. We decided on another model instead.

  18. Sam on June 30th, 2009 at 12:00 am

The pattern is nice and is what I saw in this stroller first. THe seat and angle is to sharp my infant’s head is pitched forward and I constantly have been pulling over to fix his head. I had to buy an additional neck head support but that only works 50% of the time. I called Graco and they could care less they said all of their seats pass inspection and that maybe I should install the seat with out the base that is was my car seats. I did no pay the price I did to have to strap the seat in and out everytime I take the baby out and I did not waste money on bases I am not going to use. I have several friends who have other stollers and their seat carriers are not as straight up as this one. Also everything is installed correctly we had it inspected. Currently in the process of trying to get it returned and a new model purchased. You really can’t tell how it works until you have the baby and use it a few times. It looks good put together but does not work well. IT IS UNSAFE

  19. petite mom on July 2nd, 2009 at 12:00 am

I really like this travel system for a couple of reasons, It is very light which I am a huge fan of because I am a very petite mom. It folds up so easily and even though it does take up a lot of room in the trunk, other systems would take up even more room. I absolutely love the pattern as well. the drawbacks are that there is only one seat position in the stroller and it sits very upright. my son is 3 months old now, and has no problem since he can lift his head. As a newborn his head was always crooked but he is obviously fine! the pros outweigh the cons with this stroller. My sister in law has the quatro tour and that system is a lot heavier and bulkier than mine. I would of not been happy with it.

I just received this travel system. It was very easy to put it together. I did it myself in about 15 minutes. Now I’ve got to take apart to return it, because I’m not happy with it. The biggest problem is when you use the carrier with the stroller, it looks like the baby would be sitting straight up. Also, I had read the reviews that the basket was difficult to access and it does seem that it would be. Unless you have the stroller seat sitting all the way up, which you wouldn’t be able to do while using the carrier.

I used this stroller all the time. My daughter is 1 month and so far she love to riding in it. It is very light. The stroller is about 17lbs. I can pick up the stroller with one hand. I love it.

  23. Mom of 2 on July 24th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I was able to purchse the travel system as the result of a shower. I chose the Metro-lite system because the stroller is a a little more compact than the other travel systems put out by Graco, which is a plus in my world. I have a 3 year old and space is important when you are packing stuff in the car for two. I have read many reviews that state the concern of your infant sitting too far upright in the car seat once it is place on the stroller, but if you pay close attention to the manual that comes with the stroller it states that you can position the car seat to sit in two positions. I have found that if you place the car seat “on top” of the latches on the stroller, then the car seat is positioned just like it would be in any other Graco Travel System. The only thing that the MetroLite system is missing from the main travel system is a compartment on the parent cup holder to put keys, cell phone, etc., but that is why I have a diaper bag/purse I guess.

  24. Mom of three girls on July 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

After reading the reviews on this travel system I went to the store and checked it out and I’m glad that we decided to purchase it anyway. The pattern is beautiful in person. I love how light the stroller is. I had a Quattro before and I loved it but I’m willing to lose a couple of features (like the compartment for keys, etc. My diaper bag attaches to the stroller so I’ll just have to keep them in there)for something I can handle better. I also don’t see a problem with the recline of the seat or accessing the basket. There’s a clip that seems to hold the strap for the recline in place just fine. There’s also a lever to pull to let the basket down if you need to get a bag in the basket with the seat fully reclined. The carseat is great too. Easy to install, easy to use, and not as heavy as I expected. I would definitely buy again!

  25. CollegeMama on August 14th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I love this travel system. It is super lightweight and way more compact than I had imagined. The pattern is far more impressive in person, and the brown is a super soft suede-like fabric. I love that it’s gender neutral! Assembly was extremely easy. Haven’t installed the car seat yet (about to buy a new car, so am waiting to install) so I can’t comment on its usefulness as a car seat, but the base is adjustable (can be wound to be elevated or not) so I can’t imagine it could be too upright (as some of the other reviews have stated) as you could simply adjust the degree of the car seat recline from the base. Has a great turning radius…great handling.

  26. Ridge's Mom on August 16th, 2009 at 12:00 am

I liked how lightweight and easy the stoller and carseat were to get into the car. However, because it is lightweight, it is smaller. My son would be in his carseat and I would put it in the stroller and his head would fall foward because he was practically sitting so straight up that he was almost slumped forward. He couldn’t see anything besides the back of the stroller. I exchanged it as soon as I could!

  27. JPT3825 on August 19th, 2009 at 12:00 am

We loved the look of this system and how light the stroller was. However, we hate the angle of the infant seat on the stroller. Our newborn’s head flopped forward and he hated to ride in it. The infant carrier is also very wide compared to others. It will not fit on restaurant high chairs or in many booths at restaurants. I wish we had explored other options when picking a travel system!

  28. mom and army wife on August 26th, 2009 at 12:00 am

the car seat sits the baby straight up in the stroller so his head falls forward but i figured out if you push the red hooks out then sit the car seat in it it will sit perfectly. It doesnt fit in buggies or in booster seats but some resturants have baby seat slings and it does fit in those. i love the stroller it rides so smooth. i took my 4 month old son to the zoo in it and he loved it the umbrella comes down pretty far so it kept the sun out of his eyes. Both seem to be pretty comfy because he will get in both without crying, he just looks at his toys and has a good ole time!
